Australian love potato chips and beer, just like Americans, they just talk a little different, and drive on the other side of the road.
They have/had some sort of inline 6 Ford engine they were nuts over, goes/comes in a falcon or something. Crazy good motor. Supra 1JZ killer type motor. OO

The motor also came with a more than effective Turbo option. Over the next decade plus till 2016 when aust Ford cease production of vehicles ,the development of this motor was an absolute weapon. The aftermarket build / tuning potential has street cars with up to 1000-1200hp !!! Running sub 10sec qtrs. I have heard that there are current orders from America to aust to purchase ,freight bk to America to install in enthusiasts vehicle's. That's how good this motor is in its development and design. I appreciate it.. But I am strictly a V8 Man all the way Born n bred.!☝👍💪 muscle all the way

I have this 7.3L Godzilla motor in my 2020 F-350 Lariat. It's the reason I traded in my 2019 F-250 (6.2L). I wanted that new 445CI (7.3L) Ford conventional push rod motor bad! Well I have it and I'm loving it! (I don't know about going the supercharger route with mine but it sure is nice to know you COULD go that route, if you chose to). No overhead cam stuff going on here. Push rod motor and I LOVE the 6 bolt mains! 430HP and 475 LBS Feet of Torque from the factory! Love it.

I can’t wait until I can afford the new 7.3 Godzilla that came out late last year . Already they have a super charger - water intercooled - for them . You can put 13 LBS of boost on a stock bottom end and they will handle it with no problem’s . Ford is just bad ass

This supercharger would be great for the Australian market with conversions if the new front drive came with different front snout options for a forward facing throttle body as the way it currently is really only suits the American trucks and a revised front drive pulley assembly to accommodate off the shelf power steering pump/ alternator/ac etc. Great work guys
Have you seen Evan Smith’s video on Indy Power Products oil pan, oil pump and front accessory drive setup for the Godzilla? It just came out and I think addresses several of the problems you mentioned. 👍

We had that station wagon with the grand torino 400 my father cotton owned part of devils bowl speedway in the70s it would suprise the hell out of you. It was used to haul supplies for the race track.🤠👍
I've noticed on most newer high performance engines the ports are so much straighter of a shot into the intake. They seem to flow so much better than the old v8 designs. Even the 3.6 v6 in my imp has really big straight ports for power.
When I first saw a pt cruiser I drew it with a blown hemi sticking out of the hood. 4x4 with boggers. Tribute to the power wagons. It looked great but I'm short on checkbook. Lol
Revan Evan in Detroit has gotten 1400hp & 1030 fl lbs of torque with a 3.0l Whipple on his. Between these 2 guys we are going to be seeing some Fast Mustangs and everything else this big cube Midblock is dropped into!
Thick cast iron block and cylinder walls calls for BIG boost, in no time will we start seeing these shoe horned into tube chassis cars with 100+mm turbos bolted on 🤙
EXCELLENT combo! No worries about the height of the motor with blower on top. It's cool to cut a hole in your hood because the motor was just too damn big. Dandy builds awesome stuff and their reputation is also excellent.

Atm I'm looking at a rebuild on my boss 260 if I have damaged my bearings, no one does a stock rebuild on a V8, I love my quad cams, every second hand coyote and miami is worth more than this new godzilla according to the wreckers, godzilla is all modular bellhousing and coyote flywheel and I want to use my car for drifting and any Motorsports, seems like a good replacement option

I have one of those superchargers sitting right next to me about to go on a Godzilla in the dyno area. OBR Control systems makes an ecu thats pretuned with 500hp N/A with a 3 wire hook up.

@@deeremeyer1749 My Ls picked up 115hp with a cam swap n/a quite literally a 25% power gain. Go take the piss out of someone else. Everyone here knows im just putting a fun twist on "camshaft". Anyway, a cam specifically designed to help a boosted motor especially one of this size will show huge gains. Oh and as for "showing you a cam that makes 25% more "power"". I use a comp cams 238/242 cam. Namaste.
A 7.3 liter around 445ci on pump gas should make around 667hp based on 1.5 hp per cube. Thats generally considered a good combination for a street car if you can get 1.5 hp per cubic inch my 418 a 351w based build made 670 hp crank i cant remember tq but it was pretty close to 600 ft lbs NA 34 grand for that engine idk. The 418 cost me under 9 grand with off the shelf parts. Powered my 3050lb foxbody 10.40s @137 run after run very consistent NA on 93 pump gas. Drove it 60 ish miles to the track let it cool for an hour then basically hot lapped it in 95* weather 80s when it got dark. Just a test and tune night for me.

You'd have to add a custom cam heads and intake plus exhaust to reach 600hp plus the added weight of a 7.3 l vs 351w and size difference.
@@benwalker4660 your looking at about 2 inches wider on the 445ci valve cover to valve cover about 2 in taller deck and 2.5 inches in difference where the actual engine sits in the k member. Im sure you would need some extra parts or fabrication. You would definitely want a aftermarket k member with the 351w or a 445 for ease of working on things. The strut towers in say a foxbody could be very tight. As far as cheaper to build you can buy the 7.3 from Ford Racing right now for 6999.00 with a 2 year warranty. If you did all but machine work it woud cost you about the same.
Old school tech: two valves per cylinder, pushrods, cam in block, iron block. Kinda nice to NOT see dual overhead cams driven by long, slinky chains. That's why I love my 454 BBC in my 454SS. Very dependable technology. Easier to work on , too.
As good as this might be for a street rod. Really I see this new motor as a winner for marine applications. Especially ski/wake boats. NA with a cam will see you past 480/500kW (just look at those ports😁.) With loads of torque for that hole shot to pull fat bastards out of the water or move around 2tonnes of wake balast. Go supercharged and use river water for the working fluid and boom. 700-800kw
Love to see these or anything other than that v6 in the raptor. I know the power is there, people around town are putting super loud exhaust on them though. Not a good thing.

Yup, turbo + e85. But... stock valve springs may not hold shut at 15psi

Old school tech: two valves per cylinder, pushrods, cam in block, iron block. Kinda nice to NOT see dual overhead cams driven by long, slinky chains. That's why I love my 454 BBC in my 454SS. Very dependable technology. Easier to work on , too.

NA with a cam will see you past 480/500kW (just look at those ports😁.) With loads of torque for that hole shot to pull fat bastards out of the water or move around 2tonnes of wake balast.
Go supercharged and use river water for the working fluid and boom. 700-800kw
