Great to see more progress on the Ford 7.3 Thank God something a Ford fan can watch. 🙏
Hallelujah
Honestly as a coyote guy I'm disappointed by 1300 from a 7.3 I was hoping they'd be something closer to 2k with that much displacement it's not weird to see 1300-1500hp 5.0 stangs
@@GhostlyGhillethey also have DOHC with all kinds of tuning abilities due to multiple different factors. This is a pushrod engine and very different when looking at HP per cube. You will never see a 7.3L DOHC engine be produced by any American car maker.
Very excited to see this Ford Godzilla content!!! Keep up the Godzilla development please!!!
They NEED to put this bad boy in the bronco.
I want this in my 78 bronco
That would be cool but I feel like coyotes are better suited for them
Awesome stuff Heath. I just stepped up to the new 110mm throttle body on the 2650 on our 7 litre build. Can't wait to see one of these combos in a Mustang or late model Falcon on the strip.
would swap my ls for one of these in my fox body lol
@@aylahughes9185 only if you wanna go slower 🤣
@@thomasstott527 Man, 1300 with a *blower*... that's more than any LS I can think of. I think going forward the 7.3 is going to be the swap of choice if you have the extra money.
Then again, you could just go with an LSX at that point, but still.
@@SoI_Badguy well if you only mess with ford motors that's understandable... we built a hellcat... stock blower ( ported) stock bottom end... 1150 hp to the tire... these guys are making 1300 to the fly wheel with a 7.3... we have made North of 1300 with a 6.2 and a "blower"
@@SoI_Badguy Ultimately Bryan Neelen and his crew from LME were the winners of LS vs Coyote 2. They were able to put together a 427 cubic-inch LSX engine that produced a staggering 1,784 horsepower and 1,422 lb-ft of torque with the help of a ProCharger F-1X supercharger with a 10-rib serpentine belt.Jun 27, 2019..... 🤔 I believe a 427 is smaller then the 7.3... 🤣
Amazing setup. Good vid guys.
Excellent work, plenty more power to be made
Wow that sounds incredible! Can’t wait to see which vehicle gets this engine!
Very nice. I would love to have this in my F150
Can't wait to put this in my 1995 Honda civic 💪
Can’t wait to see the car!!
My God love the Zilla with this combo.
Great work Dandy
A superb engine !!
Really wicked. Can’t wait to see more
This makes me so happy.
I'm impressed
Wow impressive development
That was wonderful
This is awesome
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
awesome video, nice work
Great numbers.
How good is that? Good Ford platform with Harrop technology and engineering and Dandy Engines know how. Super keen to see Harrop TVS-3100 on a Godzilla 7.3 once Eaton finalises the engineering.
Will Eaton ever release it? We've been waiting some time now. I have many customers over 1000 whp with the 2650 and they want more!
@@ChurchAutoTest Eaton has released the 3100 but I don't think many people are trying to use it since the 2650 gets the job done for majority people. Vmp had a 3100 but chose not to put it into production I forget the reasoning.
@@tae715gt it was a lame excuse but something along the lines of "it wasn't in our best interest"...something lame and vague
@@tae715gt it was because they didn't feel it had enough performance gain over the 2650 to mess with it. It made more I'm sure but they didn't feel it topped it enough to continue with it.
Luv it!
Some very clever engineering there.
Motor is not loud. I like.
Godzilla is sick
That 2.65 tvs2 is unreal
Very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cool cool enginebuild ☑️🏁🇩🇰😎
Cool cool enginebuild# wanna make me roll and rule#
Ford is the best American car manufacturer.
Very nice.
I'm building my own fishing jetboat so I'd love to convert one of these to a marine engine. I'm not sure if these v8s have been imported to my country but will definitely take a look into ordering one
You guys should make a kit for the super duty’s
If I were a ethanol fan...yes
I still wouldn't trade my 2000 7.3 power stroke, see you in 22 years🤠
I have my f250 with the godzilla. If a little bit of this power dust could just hit the top of my block I wouldn't complain. Would make towing 18k a little easier.
Buy the supercharger and you're golden.
Procharger has a low boost unit that gives the 7.3 600hp/725ft lbs @ the wheels.. .@ only 5 psi of boost!
@@joelsavage8254 725 wheel torque? Really?
Can you put this in my 2020 F150 in SoCal? Rebuild the trans to handle it and a driveshaft for it? Fancy a trip to Cali?
Would love to know default weight vs tuned weight.
Dendy is the best what a beast.
Holy Toledo!!
2020 ford mustang 7.3 👍👌💯
Price on this setup wow amazing build
I want one of these in my 39 Ford 5window coupe
Omg I gotta have this
" " " AWESOME VIDEO GUYS " " " THANK YOU FOR SUCH A GREAT VIDEO ...!!!! DOUBLE G. HERE ... BLUE OVAL IN MY BLOOD ...!!!!!!!!
Hi Harrop Folk . Question 4U Heath .
What fuel ⛽️ were u guys running @ 12 psi & 19 psi ? Please .
Top job .
Don't know a thing about these particular Ford Engines .
Is there a stroker kit 4 them ?
Looking 4ward 2 more content.
Xcellent
It might take it for a short time but how many miles do you think you'll get out of it, also what about the transmission?
No one does it like the north americans, they make the best v8s
I’d love to spice up my 7.3 in my F-250 Tremor!
Want a twin turbo of the 7.3 or this. Would be amazing.
Compound turbo with a equal length headers maybe some hydrostatic pistons???🤔
@@salinsoulok3338 Yea
@@salinsoulok3338 what
@@salinsoulok3338 huh🤣🤣🤣you want that thing to blow or something 🤔
What transmission would go behind this?
This could be sick in a trophy truck!!
ona mason or a race stewart luxury prerunner (Y)
using hydraulics instead of a belt you can control the blower speed with valves, still driven off the crank hydraulic pump that turns the blower
OMG.........What is there not to like?
The price!
@@guyforlogos If the price is a concern, then perhaps your in the wrong hobby, try model cars.
@@widewinger1454 No Lie, but Whoa.... $$$$$$$
No matter still a cool effing engine and some serious power.
Weight and fuel consumption... but, fuel consumption for this application is a non issue. Weight? I don't see many ways to get power and torque like that without high displacement.
Bring back the 4.9 straight six with a flow through head. All the power I need to get from point A to point B. All in all its a very nice set-up you got there.
I think Power nation built a 4.9 with 540 hp it was quite interesting, I had one in my truck 350,000 miles and it ran perfect.
@@andrewward1887
Yes they did. I watched that series and the look on their faces after it went from 80 hp to over 500 hp was priceless.
All I want for Xmas is the naturally aspirated Godzilla.
I've got an 1986 F100 SWB 2WD that had a 460ci BB / Turbo 400 in it, and is now a primed rolling shell stored in a garage... been wondering if I would get around to doing anything with it or to sell it off... this would blow my budget...
my old man had a 63 with the same exact build and little nitrous set up just for fun. Good memories
What fuel delivery upgrades were required?
I want this in a notchback
Would be cool to see in the new mustang 😂
fabulous engineering right there! Just out of curiousity, why was there no cold air feed going into the throttle body? I don't but a lot of people swear by cold air induction and I am interested in where you guys stand on that?
it's in a dyno room, they're climate controlled.
once it's in an engine bay you'll want to feed it fresh air.
I want to stick this in a Fairmont
Nice
Monster Engine, it belongs to FOX body
I wish I could fine a dyno run with a roots style supercharger. I want to build a burn out car with this motor but I dont think they make a intake manifold for a roots blower. Ever thought about doing one? I know their not as efficient but I dont care, just Cruises and car shows. When you have jewelry you dont hide it, you show it off.
I swear... All the best stuff comes out of Oz! Makes me want to move down unda
I want this 😂
What were you running it up to?
coming from a chevy guy, this motor is impressive !! only because I reminds me of 8.1 chevy
In no way is it anything like the 8.1 slug thing meeeded major work to make any power just a turd
How much does it cost the general public for Harrop 1300hp in plug and play crate engine form ?
Don't the GM zz632 make with N/A?
I reckon I should get one and shoehorn it into my soarer will make it a real mean machine
Single cam, like god intended
Could this fit in a factory 5 cobra kit car
How much does it weight
what would win? this or 1 junkyard LS with pistons/rods and a 7285 shanghai hairdryer?
The LS
The LS... and even a 4.8 with a hairdryer is more impressive 👏
Well this engine fit into my 92 5 L mustang?
I hear this engine is comparable in size to the old 351 Windsor. Something like 2 inches wider. Anything that can fit that engine can fit this one.
01:18 what's up with those chunks missing out of the cylinder bore?
I noticed that too, however that nozzle is an oil squirter. The rod head should never come in contact with that section of the cylinder. Sometimes if you do not remove the squirters while assembling/ removing the rods, it could damage the cylinders as seen there.
That's just dirt. It's not holes.
The 7.3 gasser and the 5.0 coyote has made ford king of the V8 production engines.
Now that's a funny
@@natemayo1827 - who’s doing better ??

@@scotty3725 - HAHAHA seriously dodge? those boat anchors
Had to check the date, thought it was April fools already 😂
This needs to be standard in the shelby GT500
Please tell me that the very special car that you plan to put this in is a SUZUKI MIGHTY BOY.
Richard holdener could get that from a stock bottom 5.3ls and a couple of eBay turbos
Turbos and blowers is apples to oranges. Do it with 2650 tvs and come back and talk to me. Stop pushing the bs overdone ls. This thing shits on an ls.
@Lil' Ike your a joke... on there website this same blower on a ls3 6.2 application supports 1500 hp... that pos 7.3 made 1300 ... congratulations 🎊 👏 ford boys.. your almost there... maybe next year
Shut up and take my money!❤
Almost bought the ford 7.3 crate motor, then I realized it had cast pistons and no ford does not offer a forged piston version yet 🙄
Can I bye one ?
1317. 1138 wow
Ford: "This is a work truck motor, not for high performance use."
These guys: "....and then I took that personally."
to bad chevys "work motor" is only a 6.0 and out performs this thing... even chevys new work horse ... the gas 6.6 is more impressive then this monster turd ...lol
@@thomasstott527 Curb your brand loyalty
@@riogrande163 what does that even mean?
@@thomasstott527 now I'm truly laughing my a$$ off. The LS has been out how long? Oh never mind, it never made that power in that short of period. Now give this TURD how many years the LS Turd has had? Then come back and let's talk. By the way how pounds of boost does that LS take to make 1300+ HP 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lots of belts
Bugger ;) not quite 1MW.
perfect boat motor
That’s a very big engine
7.3 litres
That is pretty fat, makes my 5.0L Windsor look like a starter motor.
just turbo your windsor
Hahaaa!! that made me laugh.
Maybe you better find some old copies of Mustang and Fast Fords magazines from the early 90s where guys were using a Boss302 block as a foundation to build that Windsor engine to 1200 HP with a power adder.
By comparison, this 7.3 is weak sauce
reading this im curious, are you talking about current gen 5.0 L when you call it a Windsor? Guessing youre not from North America as I have never heard it called that before. I live in Windsor, Ontario Canada where those engines are made, my uncle is an engineer there actually.
@@WeekendWarriors87 In Australia, a 302(5.0) version of the Cleveland was available('71 to '82), as well as the 351(5.8)C that was also in North America, so the need to distinguish it from the Windsor variety of small block in the same displacements.
What is your guess what car this bad boy going in,i am guessing Frankies xw
It’s still 900hp shy of Frankie’s X dub
Horse power sells cars torque wins races~ carol shelby
Measuring the cams with digital calipers 🤣🤣🤣
1,300, that thing is barely sweating🥱. You can do a lot with displacement when it’s built to handle the boost your adding.
Displacement and flow. This is the first big block made from the bottom up in like half a century, the potential of this engine is insane. Coming from a huge chevy guy.
@@SoI_Badguy. Absolutely, there is so much potential with a big block💪🏻. Anytime you have heads flowing 300CFM’s and 10:5:1 compression factory you have a lot of potential. 600hp N/a will be easy with a 230’s/XXX cam. And you will have tons of bottom end torque with the displacement.
@@bri-manhunter2654
Can't wait until Ford starts stuffing these into tens of thousands of U-Haul trucks and us commoners can get our hands on them
@@SoI_Badguy. Lol, they will be the new 5.3’s🤟🏻
This is so much better then the God forsaken modular motor Ford sacked us with for so long.
I pray this or even a smaller version ends up in a RCSB f150
5.0 RCSB’s are in the 8’s stock motor?
@@169abr I just test drove a 5.0 rcsb with the 10 speed 2 weeks ago. Even bone stock I was impressed
@@Matp345 a guy a follow has an RCSB 5.0 with an 18 mustang manifold, E85 tune, and a PMAS intake. Truck went 12.4 and 12.2 I believe. That’s impressive as hell for an NA truck if you ask me since I think they run mid 13’s stock.
Chevy and dodges won't even crank there cars up around that beast
🤦🏽♂️
Be a killer engine for a 71/72 Pinto.
1320 action with the face blurred out
Too bad these upgrades are so expensive. That motor was made for a truck to pull heavy weights. The torque looks impressive after your upgrades. If someone was willing to spend the $$$, how good would this engine be to use in actual towing situations?
Nobody is building this engine just to tow. It's going to be put in cars for fun
These are designed to be the LS killer.
They put em in trucks just to get them out there. Won't be long they'll be popping up in junkyards.
No not no more, if your options was to upgrade a coyote 5.0 or a 7.3 Godzilla it would be cheaper getting the Godzilla.
7.3 you get longevity depending on boost levels and reliability vs a 5.0.
My 5.0 blew a rod out the bottom through the oil pan and the 7.3 is going to be the new engine that is going to be placed in the car, since a upgraded coyote is going to set you back 20Gs minimum. Yes you can get cheaper but my build needs to handle 1,000hp daily and that becomes pricey on the 5.0 coyote.
