I am a Russophile, studied Russian in university, and also grew up playing hockey… needless to say, I love Russian people. I also live where it can be cold in the winter, I would be elated to have an actual Ushanka. Even if I don’t win, I love you and will be watching every video you put out.
I just wanted to say your videos really mean a lot to me. My family immigrated here from Minsk in the 70s, and since then I have lost many of them. I was actually the first person born in the United States! My family that is still around live very far away from where I am, and we don't communicate as much as I would like to for some reasons. Watching your videos brings a sense of home to me. You remind me of my grandfather and uncle, who escaped Russia in the 70s and made a life in the states. Funny, always positive, and happy to be alive. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and thoughts on life, and bringing a little bit of "home" to the rest of us who might be missing that. Truly, thank you!
Таинственные подарки от жителей старой страны всегда доставляют удовольствие. Ушанки не просто практичны и удобны, они выглядят фантастически. Я бы носил его каждый день, кроме работы во дворе. Ушанкам не нужна скошенная трава.
I want the ushanka because I have been collecting Soviet items myself and this would be amazing for winter and my collection I really would appreciate this and I love the content
Thanks for sharing daily history, and the lives of people back then, i deeply appticiate it, thanka for keeping former history alive abd well in deep peace for all of us. Spacibo. I know things have changed a lot.🎉
I am russian ukrianian i love watching your videos everytime you upload i am a proud American but russian at heart and my sweet babuska would cry tears of joy seeing me with an uskanka god bless
I am from Wisconsin we are winter weather here 7 months of the year. Tired of buying sub par hats every year to stay warm and older style hunting hats that copy the ushanka but are less effective. Love your videos. Congratulations to whoever wins the beautiful Ushanka.
I collect some soviet memorabilia and have an authentic ushanka lapel, but no ushanka. I would love to have a ushanka for it’s practicality and appearance.
Russian photographers were experimenting with colour photography at the turn of the 20th century, 1900-pre-World War1 . However, the process was laborious and expensive. The porcelain fish are actually shot glasses, actually quite common.
I would like this ushanka because it's very hard to find them in retail that is authentic, and here in Alabama it can get very cold in the winter and I would like to keep warm in the winter. Another thing is because it's not just comfortable, but it also looks really nice. If I don't win I will still be binge watching your channel all the time!
Privet, Crazy Russian Dad! Kak dela? I would love this amazing Soviet Ushanka not just to keep my ooshki warm in the winter but also because every time my Baba cooks pirashki for me and my cousins on the weekend I can never get enough before my cousins eat all of them! If I had this Ushanka, I could hide one extra pirashook behind each ear and no one would know! PLEASE! Continue the great content. Comrade Lenin would be proud! :l (Russian smile)
If you like old soviet items or things one thing I find pretty cool is the "Gp-5 gas mask kit" lesser known as the ShM-62 Which is the name of the mask, its a cool collectors piece that normally still works but I wouldn't use the filters as they contain hazardous materials (like asbestos) if you want you can buy without filter however the actual mask is safe just make sure you clean it. If you have questions I will attempt to asnwer.
I really like the Ladies scarf from the Soviet Union 🌸🌸❤️❤️❤️!!! That is really a nice time capsule of the Soviet Union. However, it would really be interesting to have a 🧸 Teddy Bear from the Soviet Union. I do not remember the Russian name for this particular 🧸 teddy bear, but it was definitely made in the Soviet Union.
I had to read the Bremen musicians to a group of kids in school, in the US no less. I had fun doing voices for all the characters. The kids however didn’t find it as interesting as I did…
Im commenting below but don't need the usanka even tho I would where it.. Just happy to comment as your content is fun and holism.. Thank you for creating and sharing all your content with us.. btw drinking like a Russian is my new fav way to drink vodka.. I now do shots of vodka and eat my home pickled tomatoes and black bread.. My Russian ex girlfriend dumped me in the mountains near Santa Fe, NM! I need that USHANKA, it gets cold here!! (Love your channel, had to search and find it again, I’m an actor and I’m using you for help with accent :-))
The hat would not fit me, so I won't ask for it. If I did get it anyway then I'd probably give it to a Russian friend of mine at work. She's been in America for 17 years and I bet she'd love a piece of home
Just wanna say nearly everyone in Russia moved on from communism. It’s impossible to achieve since no one will cooperate so the Soviet Union went from socialist to capitalist (70s-80s)
It never made sense to me why we became rivals and then enemies after WW2. The fact that we are allies with our once enemies makes me think it's just Russia holding extreme grudges instead of changing.
Were can I get a young pioneer Scarf from I live in Ireland I'm doing a memorial for a friend from Czechoslovakia who loved his time in there who died. Last year . God rest his soul 🙏 Ps why is ushanka in Russian a hat but in Ukrainian a dirty word . Enjoy your videos

Kiev, Kiev, repeat, that is the name in English, Biden/Zelenski deciding to rename it in 2020s shouldn't affect the name in English...

I'm a die-hard anti Communist , but I have always found Russia so fascinating. Wish our countries were friends.
Just wanna say nearly everyone in Russia moved on from communism. It’s impossible to achieve since no one will cooperate so the Soviet Union went from socialist to capitalist (70s-80s)
Iam communist and a hardcore anti-american

The people of our countries are friends. The governments can go to hell.
