The shirt he is wearing is common style for Russian military under their uniform. I had a shirt like that and when I was in St. Petersburg I made the mistake of wearing it to breakfast in the hotel. I did not know a group of military men were also staying in the same hotel. I got some nasty stares because they could tell I was not Russian when I tried my terrible Russian language skills at ordering some scrambled eggs, an item not in the buffet. I then realized my mistake and quickly ate and retreated to my room.
