    I ride street with a slick on the front and a bulky tire on the back because It helped me alot avoiding crashes. I landed on my back on a 180 and because i had more thread on the back i avoided slipping and a really bad crash.

    Or you can support your local bike shop. Especially if there doing stuff to give back to the scene trails/jams/video premier ect. ✌
    Dan's is great in areas where there is nowhere for a bmxer to shop locally. There selection and deals is plus too.

      My local shop charged me $45 for black ops pedals. He really only sells black ops and eastern, but he has some odds and ends, so i generally just go online

    Mine are so warn out FYI my bmx tires are 12 years old never been changed but a month ago the front litterayly flew off so I’m like time too get new tires

    I have just started bmx and I need to buy a new rear tire my old one is 2.35 and I like it but i cant seem to find that size should I go to a smaller size to make it easier

      rear tyre a bit slimmer is OK. 👍 2.1 or 2.2 might be a good choice.

    My BMX tires are 20x1.95. Will a 20x2.40 tire work on my rims?

      They should but you should be asking if they fit on your frame or fork, but most modern ones can fit bigger tires

    great video, although I feel tires with colored tread get weathered a bit easier and become slippery in a park setting or a slick sercafe. only speaking from experience. great tires, just became slippery faster than a tire with black tread.

      Any width tire, the tire usually says 20 inch or if it’s from a know normal bmx company like Cult, it will just say the name of the tire and the specs on the bottom

      no. needs a 2.4 tire size clearance. should tell you the clearance in the description of the forks you are buying

      They are mostly considered normal but that and the 2.5 are the biggest you can get

      20inch is the standard wheel and tire size, but for tire width it depends what type of riding your doing

      Depends what frame, most modern ones can fit bigger tires though, same thing with the fork

      Depends what riding your doing, you go faster with skinnier ones but wider ones absorb more impact and have more grip

    are there puncture proof tires like the road bike tire the Armadillos. i know there is no such thing as puncture but something stronger.

    Just bought a lightly used custom "SOLID" frame (complete bike). (Odyssey lite wheels with demolition 110psi tires) (obv sealed everything full chromoly) Does anybody have any input on the quality of Solid? I know the companies done cus the owner got out of bmx, and it was a niche custom market.

      Obviously not, it depends on how big your wheel is and how much clearance your frame and fork have for tire width, it’s not like your going to fit a 26 inch tire on a normal 20 inch bmx bike

    My tire says that minimum pressure is 40, and max 65 or something like that. Do i not have to think about my tube when pumping my tire? Because i don't remember what the tube says about pressure. Thanks!

      Wilton Friberg inner tubes take a lot more than tires ever will, dont worry about the inner tube, just the tires max and min pressures

      Personally I like cassette more but he has a free coaster, you should know this so I would recommend watching a UA-cam video about differences between bmx hubs

      Its the spinning speed of the tire catching up to slower momentum of the ground

      Fist Master69 higher will just be fatter tires
      ..... lower will be Skinner so it doesn't matter just whatever u prefer

      yeah its terrible for your rims, you should ride at least 40

      Yea, at least ride 40-45, but even that’s bad, almost all riders ride 65 or more

      Some tires can't handle 110 PSI. I'm pretty sure mine would explode but i have pretty smallish tires

      You should be good as long as you're not constantly putting the max. psi in your tire (it might pop on a hot day since the tire expands on a hot day)

      u want higher psi for riding park and stuff. less rolling resistance. lower is for street
