From what I've seen from the mordhau dev's I don't think they'd do well in a professional setting working with a different team at all. Chiv 2 should just take what inspiration it can from the other devs game without compromising on their more casual skill ceiling and the balance of their own game given the change of pace is what everyone seems to like.

they just kept the simplity of chivalry 1 to 2 xD they wanted to keep at any point their basic changing armors etc but still theres coming new stuff and things and fixes etc tornbanner tries really hard , people like in chv1 are the same sometimes , they can be funny good accompanying etc but also as in every medieval game like it was in medieval , toxic pagans toxic heretics of sun and more xD but it makes game more good and you actually make bounds with it by meeting these players you are later like "ugh damn them next time when i will meet them i will show them" and also some players talks later about players they met so thats another way of punishing and making kinda lore? xDD or something
still the fear of chivalry ffa servers is kono so you know
and what i personally need is bringing old maps they were really aeasthetic or however you call it , they were climatic and these gladiators arena etc great times , but there is upcoming crossplay parties support and custom servers (so probably with mods i guess [time to learn UE xD] ) only one thing for now they really screwed up is that they didnt add helmets to epic version that are on steam version and i really would love to transfer my acc to steam (i would buy it again if its needed) cuz epic's launcher is very ram eating and lagging and slow loading basic things so yea

I'd really like a mix of both games. The team objective modes and maps are so much better in Chivalry 2 but I like the style and combat of Mordhau much better. I'd like to add that I'm absolutely not a pro but would consider me a mid-tier player. Like you said in your video mid-tier vs. mid-tier players is where the fun is in Mordhau.

Most players will end up mid tier, so I think catering to scrubs is a stupid idea. I'm a mid tier player and love Mordhau. Never even thought of trying to be "pro" if you could even argue such a tier exists for Mordhau with severely lacking prize money, sponsorships, and viewers.

Pre rework feitoria invasion was really good though, all it needed was less campy nobles and 1 more stage to make people explore the less played areas; I also enjoyed grad invasion a lot. I honestly do not think chivalry 2 team objective maps are that better... they are won and lost purely by KDA while in mordhau utility and support classes can do A LOT, chivalry 2 engineer class is a JOKE compared to mordhau toolbox, the medkit, warhorn and banner abilities are helpful but provide near zero decision making, you almost always use them when they are charged up, you do not support people in chiv 2 because you want to, you do it because you do not want to waste ability charge.
Both games suffer from not encouraging people to enter less played areas though, first version of castello could have been glorious if devs just added something like dynamic objectives so people entered the unplayed areas instead of reworking it for god knows what reason and wasting developer time.
And yeah, chiv 2 combat compared to mordhau is like comparing microdick to BBC.

In melee PvP games I very much enjoy more casual approach like in Dark Souls.
In Chivalry 2 I like how I can fight a top-scorer as mid-tier and feel like we're having a duel even though it will most likely end in my death.
That way I can also know exactly why I failed, where I can get better, but in many more competetive melee PvP games it feels like I'm losing to mechanics I need to learn but not in any logical way through gameplay.
So Chivalry 2 will always end up feeling more interactive, and as long as balance is good it will mean skill will play a big factor.

I sunk a couple hundred hours back when Chiv 1 first released and fell in love (including the Deadliest Warrior DLC!). It was a unique gaming experience that the part of me that's fascinated with the medieval era, knights and melee combat was thrilled to partake in. I ended up shelving the game in favor for competitive FPS games with skill based match making with my buddies. Fast forward a decade later, having a full time job and a family to take care of leaves me with a lot less gaming time, a lot more solo gaming, and an interest in a more casual PVP gaming experience. Coming back to the medieval slasher genre with Chivalry 2 is an incredible breath of fresh air with a tinge of nostalgia. The updated graphics, sound design, voice acting and immersion is outstanding, especially having missed out on Mordhau which I'm sure was an upgrade to Chiv 1 in at least graphics. I'm having a ton of fun and can see myself settling in for a long time.
My advice for anyone choosing between giving your time to either of these games... just remember that they have finite life spans that don't carry onward into regular yearly releases, given the nature of the developers not being AAA studios. Enjoy making memories while the playerbase is active and thriving. 😊

I’ve sunk countless hours into Mordhau, but it’s really the immersion in Chiv 2 that makes me comeback to the game more often after playing both medieval slashers. Though Mordhau is typically seen as the more competitive of the two, I like how the skill ceiling is in every team obj map in Chiv 2. I love how it rewards the top players special roles via map(duke, heir, prisoner, etc), which encourages the entire team to do their best not only individually but promotes team play

    • @Schwachsinnn
      @Schwachsinnn Рік тому +1

I absolutely agree. Also I really do believe that the skill ceiling is high enough. I just had (probably my best one so far) a match yesterday (currently lvl 170) where my first death occurred after 25 kills and 38 assist/kills (don’t know the correct translation). I still see ppl being 200+ lvl with 30+ kills and less than 9 deaths regularly. So to be honest I like that they are not invincible, but they definitely do have a big impact. It would be weird if one soldier would be able to stand up to like 10.

Also, screaming "FOR THE ORDER!!" or "AGATHAAAAAAA!!!!" is really cool and immersive. The game really does its best to keep you feeling like you're a part of one extreme trying to exterminate another. Just experiencing the details of the maps shows you the character of each side. In one map, you can see an agathian soldier strung up in a water wheel, effectively torturing him to death by drowning, and there are hanged agathian soldiers on the bridge. In another map you can see a Masonic Knight crucified.
It's a bit sad that there's no level in Chiv2 like the one in Chiv1 where you attacked all the King's potential heirs so Malric could take the throne. Throwing the nobles of Bridgetown into the river just isn't as deliciously evil.

The biggest issue I have with chiv 2's combat is game feel. From how swings feel to blocking, comparing the feel of chambers and counters. Mordhau just feels more polished, your camera follows your character.
I agree that as a base chivalry 2 has combat better suited to what it wants to be, but the game feel is something I'll really miss from mordhau even though I don't play it as much anymore.

    • @Max-gh6px
      @Max-gh6px 2 роки тому +10

I feel much the same, the issue i have with chiv 2 duelling is the counter feint, why have a feint if opponents can fall for the feint and immediately morph to counter? Duels just become endurance battles which feel kinda dull IMO.

    • @mykeh3155
      @mykeh3155 2 роки тому +18

@@Max-gh6px It's super easy to counter so having counter feints adds another layer to combat where you have to match the initial attack and the feint attack in order to stay in the fight. If you fail to read an attack and use the feint to get a second chance, your opponent also gets a feint to punish you.
It's that or they make kicks/jabs harder to read or go back to timed block, both of which would hurt casual play too much for a game focused around casual play.

To say chivalry has changed my interests in hobbies and in turn my life would be an understatement. Chiv 1 was my baby for a long while and I eventually grew to hate it, giving it a bad review on steam, playing the game often to complain about what the community became. The devs eventually knew me and knew I stopped playing all that much in turn for complaining about the various broken aspects. I really dissed torn banner for a long time, but with the release of chivalry 2 they quite literally addressed absolutely everything I complained about. I stayed with the game until the very end, where I would get on and only find about 60 people playing worldwide, the ONLY people left were the spinning cheesers who were the last ones left in the game because of what they did to it, it was pretty bad. A couple weeks before the release of chiv 2 I got onto chiv 1 again and I got into a full lobby, modded map and it was just like old times, it was amazing and reminded me of what chivalry used to mean to me.
In the Chivalry games I collectively have like 2000 hours, and Mordhau only 60, I played Mordhau for merely moments compared to most others and its because it actually brought back almost everything I complained about in chiv 1, the high damage weapons that you can simply accel to kill instantly, the spinning had made a comeback, repetitive/annoying high level combat, toxic community that would kick you for speaking of anything about their cheesing of the game, and much more. I had taken a different approach to combat in chiv 1, I used to be mobile and didn't rely on parry mechanics, dodging with crouch and using my character movement to force a miss, something that was heavily required when your parry hitboxes were the most broken thing about the game. Mordhau completely banned my playstyle, there was no way I could use what I knew about chiv 1 to play Mordhau and I dropped it.
Chivalry 2 had released and I was geeking the hell out, they had made my playstyle the main focus of the game. they had fixed everything I complained about and they CONTINUE to fix everything I complain about, its actually the Chivalry game I wanted so many years ago. The toxic community stayed with Mordhau and I grew to love chivalry again. Save for a couple complaints that are microscopic compared to what used to exist, this game is perfect to me and I will continue to play it as long as I did TBs previous installment. As time goes on TB continues to fix issues that people complain about, and no matter how angry I may get in a match I still cant look at TB the same way I used to, theyve really stepped it up and now I desperately want horde mode from chiv 1 back and the Deadliest Warrior DLC back. Chivalry: DW was better than base chiv and I played that until there were only 4 players left, infact I feel the night we all logged off was the official night the game had lost ALL players.
I now own a suit of armor based on the Mason order (and italian artwork) and I plan on sport fighting in it, in the name of The ORDER.

Complex melee is great don't get me wrong but chivalry and chivalry 2 already have a higher level of combat then most other online games. Plus I have always love the Aussie chivalry community well the vets anyway. And finally I don't know any chivalry vets I used to play with who actually stuck with mordhau. I've now played over a 100 hours in both of games. Mordhau, as for my perspective, feels smoother, because animations are more distinguishable and can be cancelled, and 1v1 as for me, feels better, because you and your opponent have enough room for outplay or mistake. Also, the customization is really nice and not buggy, as it is in chivalry. In chivalry, 1vX or mass fights feel better, because there are many moves like dodge, crouch(which is easier than mordhau crouch dodge), kick to disposition opponent and simply block or repost all incoming strikes. Also teamfights for me feels like i really play with my team, interrupting enemy strikes and kicking enemy off my bois, to prevent them from dying, and other sorts of wacky stuff.
Although, new chivalry duels seems like a total mess for me. Some strikes don't hit, your block is often countered by simpliest face attacks, and other shenanigans tend to happen. But that's technical stuff, my main problem is that you can't really outskill your opponent due to how game works. The main reason is movement and animations, cause in XvX fights they feel fine and good, but in 1v1 with constant moving, they start to feel veeery cluncky. It's like a mix of superfast animations like dodge, crouch or R-strikes, and slow, very slimy swings and blocks. It's just feel like really strange fight. Also, the game balance is really broken and some weapons(Hammers, for my point) are clearly superior. The whole stamina system feels fine, but for me it's still not what i used to.
Well, I think that Chiv2 is a fun game, but in a long-time it will be forgotten by most of the people who gained interest in it because "haha funny anime swords go chew chew knights" or other dumb stuff. I think for mordhau, it will still be a niche game for sweatlords and freaks, but it'll still be alive for long long time.
Man, I just want my chiv1 back... It was dumb ans silly, but when you started to master combat system, it looked dumb and unrealistic, but really feeled like you accomplished something greater and can compete with other people. And the community was so good... I wish we just have less toxic people in all of games like these, and I wish i will hear dumb jokes from monthy python and not racial slurs or mum-insults in chat.

      @@The-Black-Death Not true at all.
Chambers are not to be focused on in Mordhau, they are very situational. This point alone tells me you don't really understand Mordhau.
Chiv 2 combat is NOT fast paced compared to Mordhau, it's simply not the case. Swings in Mordhau are faster for many weapons (just look at the battle axe), and you need a much faster reaction speed to be consistently effective.
The key to success in Mordhau is NOT to be passive, that's a death sentence. If the archers don't pick you off, the level 200 with a longsword will. Not moving is not living.
Parrying is skill based in Mordhau. You cannot hold your block (duh) so you have to know when the enemy's weapon will hit. Passive? Far from it. You have to be ACTIVELY observing and calculating the distance and placement of the enemy's weapon compared to your own. Thinking the way you do will get you killed almost every time. I bet you are extremely susceptible to feints.
Exploits. Ah, yes, this weak point again. There are weapons that are really good at certain specific things. I will agree that some weapons are TOO good at these things, and can be the sole tactic used by those who wield them. Spear? Alt mode stab only. Scimitar? Spam attacks. Longsword? Drag stab. Battle axe? Accel spam. Arming sword? Feint spam. Playing to a weapon's strength is not an exploit, it is playing to a weapon's strength. If you're talking about the crazy spin stuff, that only works on low levels and shitty players. It's really easy to read for most weapons. You can only spin before committing to the attack, and once the swing starts moving forward, you can no longer spin like that, making it very easy to see the right moment to parry.
It sounds like you don't understand the core mechanics of Mordhau, and that will likely explain why you defend Chiv 2 in such a clumsy way. I'm not saying that Chiv 2 is inherently worse. I will always prefer Mordhau's combat, it is god damned wonderful, and it was designed with high level players in mind who are willing to spend upwards of a thousand or more hours mastering it. Chiv 2 is made for casual players to pick up within a few dozen hours max. They made it slow so that more people could be more successful without having to commit a huge amount of time.
Combat in Chiv 2 is okay at best. You have mix-ups, you have kicks, you have jabs (a nice addition to the formula in my opinion), you have swing cancel, and you have held block. It's not bad. My personal problem with it is the swing manipulation being so restrictive. It makes it feel incredibly slow and clunky, and it is one of the biggest reason why Mordhau has superior combat.
Chiv 2 is not more active. It is not more reactive. It is not fast-paced. It does have weight behind the combat. Compared to Mordhau you are FAR more passive. Chiv 2 focuses much more on blocking and chambering (called counter in Chiv 2). Chiv 2 IS sluggish and passive because it's specifically made to be so.
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not here to call names, but you are wrong and misinformed.

While i consider myself a casual player, i am still preferring Mordhau over Chiv 2. I tried both games, i spent a lot more time in Mordhau, yet i can't call myself anything higher than "experienced" in it's combat system, and to be honest, Mordhau's combat just feels more real, more weighty and impactful. Partially thanks to great animations that are not only looking very good when you fight a normal player but also almost don't break when you are fighting animation abuser. But not only thanks to animations.
Biggest difference between Mordhau and Chivalry 2 combat systems are their way of giving player ability to fight for their lives. In Mordhau you only have 7 tools to work with: hit, kick, block riposte, feint, morph, chamber. And with this fairly limited number of actions you can perform, you must invent the way to break your opponent's defenses and make him panic, like you are lockpicking the big and sturdy barn lock, you don't need to memorise hundreds of moves and tricks, you just need to understand them and use them in conjunction to make a play style that is more than a sum of it's parts.
Chivalry 2, on the other hand, gives much more tools and tricks to players, most of which are counterable by simply holding block. In Chiv you must drain your ebemy's stamina and only then kill him, while he is disarmed (given, if course, that opponent don't miss your attacks and that you don't miss his counterattacks too). You have yo memorise a lot more actions, some of which I don't even remember now, and you can't use one action in more than one or maybe 2 situation: jab is to deny hits, kick is to deny blocks, counterattacks are just like cambers, morphs and feints are much less necessary now and so on.
This is what makes me prefer Mordhau, the fact that in Mordhau you have to actually learn how to fight with all your weapon can give to you, not how to use each and individual mechanic on its own. Sure, Chiv has some interesting weapons, but overall, i never felt the feeling of true victory when i poked away someone's weapon and then kill him while he is unarmed, because this is the expected way of killing enemy in Chiv (not to mention that killing an unarmed opponent is not really something to brag about). On Mordhau killing an enemy, especially if he is stronger than you, is actually your own victory, it wasn't right predetermined use of some tricks, it was improvisation with limited actions put in right combination, each fight in Mordhau feel slightly different from eachother because of that, and also feel much harder than Chiv's ones, and because of that you get much more satisfaction from winning a fight in Mordhau. At least that's how i am feeling it, and that's why i prefer Mordhau. I deliberately don't learn how to do drags and accels, not only because i consider it equal to cheating or bug abusing, but als because if i can defeat animation abuser with only fair chambers and feints, then i actually can call myself a winner. Some can call it Stockholm syndrome, i call it adrenaline rush and "bigger risk - bigger reward" philosophy.

In Chivalry II this is sadly not possible anymore and even if you find an empty server, bots will spawn. I tried Chivalry II in the beginning but to me its just chaotic and hectic.

One dimension which is often ignored, especially when it comes to maps and character customization is artistic quality. Chivalry 2 is just better in that regard. I am not talking about the graphical quality as the technology and game engine will play heavily into that. As a professional artist, the aesthetic quality, proportions and life-likeness of the art and animations in Chiv are just better. It is the difference between the stiff pencil sketch of an amateur artist and the flowing proportional lines of a professional. Mordhau to me looks like a bunch of armored robots moving in unnatural and wiggly ways, whereas Chivalry has much more believable and lifelike illustrations and animations. This extends to the lighting and textures of the environments as well. Of course this is subjective to a degree, and there is a stylized quality to the art vs just trying to be as realistic as possible, but ultimately there is a huge gulf to my eyes in terms of artistic polish. This will manifest itself more over time as more character customization and new environments are added to Chiv 2.

although the chiv animations look more fluid, i would argue that it doesnt play as fluid. I think the more "aesthetic" animations are locking you in more. the almost absurd movements in mordhau though they may look "stiff" plays more fluidly. I think a big part is the waist bending following your mouse as well as some differences in the crouch mechanics, coupled with more options while moving like climbing.

I tried both and I think Chiv 2 is better suited for gamers like me how just want to take it easy, get into a chaotic war, swinging my weapon around and get random kills. There is still room for actual skill and technique to shine through but it always almost boils down to 'outsmarting' your opponent rather than having better technical skills / reflexes.
Mordhau on the other hand, I think is better suited for the ones who are willing to invest a considerable amount of time on a more complex melee system. Duels are a lot flashier and you get more rewarded by your technical skills. I just think that at this point, the game has become very unfriendly to newcomers because jesus, there are a LOT of very good Mordhau players now and very few beginners to have an equal match with.

An honest and balanced look at each game from someone who has a lot of experience. Great work, I love it!
My take: Mordhau team made the exact same mistake that Torn Banner did with Chivalry 1 that made the majority of the player base jump ship to Mordhau in the first place. Content updates were too far between. At least when I stopped playing which was almost exactly 2 years ago. I wasn't really interested in dueling all that much in either game, I wanted team objective maps.
I feel like TB has learned their lesson this time and their exclusivity with Epic was like them getting payed to polish the game for steam release, where a lot of players would be getting in anyways. They seem determined get grip on the medieval combat slasher genre and keep it by pushing out more content regularly. Which is great for us, the consumers.
I honestly think we'll be hard pressed to see a game that can satisfy both the casuals and the high tier competitive players since it would be extremely hard to balance, but we can always hope! A great example of this is the Overwatch competitive scene as some classes that dominated the causal scene were hardly used in comp for being "underpowered". (this is drawing from my notoriously bad memory, so I could be wrong)
For a casual like me with a lowly (approximate) 1300 hours in all three games, Chivalry 2 is great. I really do miss dressing up like a peasant and dual wielding frying pans in Mordhau though. That has to be the most satisfying weapon in any of medieval combat slasher game I've played to date.

But currently I play Chiv and even though I can run into a pro that I have no chance beating alone, when there are 2 of us noobs there is a pretty good chance that the pro will lose because they can't hold stamina. I like that, I like that fights are designed to be short. My dram game is to have an RPG like Gloria Victis but with the combat of Chiv2. And user friendly like Civ2. Soaked hundreds of hours into Mordhau at the time before the eastern invasion was announced. The game was frustrating at first, yes, but the combination of learning the skill curve and becoming visibly better with each month was extremely satisfying. I felt like I was progressing in a very organic way, either by getting Jedi training in duel servers or by seeing the multitudes of move guides available on youtube. Going from having to 4v1 a pubstar just to reach the map objective, to honorably dueling them on equal footing in some distant server in the future past, was the psychological equivalent of finally getting past a difficult Fromsoft boss - threefold. From an outside perspective, this also meant that if you got invested, you also got indirectly exposed to the community wherever you went. whether that's a good or bad thing would depend on every person's individual experiences, but you'll obviously get a mix of both.
To me, it wasn't a matter of toxicity. The game being what it was made it the great equalizer - if you have an ax (or maul) to grind with another player, you can outplay them, or cope. If you couldn't understand why some players would be willing to dedicate dozens of hours into learning a single skill on duels, you left. Or played RP servers. Or bought the next 60 dollar game with under 40 hours of content and moved on.
Then, upon inspecting community chatter and patch releases, what seemed to look like incompetent dev pandering had creeped its way in. Balance changes intended to give those sub-level-20's a chance on pubs. A lack of focus on whether they want to cater to skill farmers or casual players. The reward of you grinding out those hours slightly dissipated under the rug, and each incoming patch seemed somewhat underwhelming at best, never actually changing the GS meta or inherent map issues in any meaningful way. They indirectly discouraged "non-pro/mid" players from following the game, for what appeared to be the hope that they could cash in on the newer players, instead of monetising the already fervent player base through extra content (until they did.) With rumours like "A certain dev" testing balance changes on bots...or getting frustrated with their own player base, well...
Chiv 2 on the other hand, at least doesn't hide what it wants to be. It was never built for high skill ceilings, in an already niche game genre. From the few hours I've put into it now, I can say that it's at least just as polished as Mordhau, given its relative age, with a dev group that isn't planning to kick the proverbial bucket anytime soon. The microtransactions kind of feel like a cheap shot for those who thought grinding out a coveted golden skin was an achievement in Mordhau, but at least it's cosmetic only. Some big mechanical differences such as being able to automatically block 1vX attacks also makes the game less chaotic, both for newer players and those with previous experience in the genre. There are things that will obviously need working out, as I'm sure the injection of a whole new player base with steam must have brought a lot of nitpicks to light, but it's a very solid game nevertheless.
On the other hand - given that the skill ceiling is so different, I can feel that a little bit of the Mordhau magic was lost somewhere along the way. Since there aren't as many differences between skilled/unskilled players, there isn't as much of an incentive to focus on the mechanics. Fighting different players can feel "samey" if not for the occasional reminder that Q abilities exist. In a place where every player needs to feel equal by design, nothing really stands out. You can't flex by picking intentionally bad builds, or create even half as many player-made chaotic interactions, which aren't merely caused by a map's objective changing. Archers now feel like a non-issue, compared to the ones that would actively distract and kill you during intense Feitoria mid duels. Horse farmers aren't even present on most maps, bards don't cheer your team on, and you're left with something akin to those medieval MMA sports matches, where each team runs into one another until one falls off.
All of these things made Mordhau feel "dirty", sure, but it also allowed it to make diamonds out of coal. You either adapted to the pressure, or got lost in the mist of dismissive steam reviews. In Chiv 2, you're already lost on startup - in a sea of replaceable, similar looking players who's voice commands you can barely hear by default, probably so that console players don't break their television speakers. I crave something more, but until some other dev group takes the ideas that sparked mordhau into existence and takes them seriously, Chiv 2 will probably be the closest to a medieval peasant LARPing simulation that we can get. Hope the updates keep coming.

Mordhau without a doubt but it would be better if the Mordhau devs actually kept their word and completely removed the stupid reverse waterfall cucumber 360 maul instakill bullshit. All they needed to do was bugfix those exploits out of the game and it would be perfect.

"A single skilled player can take out several enemies alone just because he's better at the game. A particularly skilled player might be untouchable in the battlefield... instead of artificially reducing this potentially extreme and polarising gap between skill levels, we embrace it and built a game around it."
I think that defines the biggest differences between the games. In Chiv 2 you can't really take on everyone at once, it's built around a lower skill floor. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I prefer the way Mordhau combat works.

Exactly how I feel. I feel crippled in 1vx in chiv 2. Where as in Mordhau I can take entire waves if the skill difference is significant enough

Makes it really unrealistic if one dude is fighting off 12 dudes. Also tactical placement matters in chiv 2

@@TyreII tactical my ass Chiv 2 is as casual as it gets. Its never been about realism, its about skill. That's the whole point of these games.

@@voro8298 it can be casual but 1vX is all about movement and positioning in chiv. Get that active riposte and swing through 7 guys at once, works great as long as you avoid getting your attacks interrupted

@@voro8298 Doesn't bother me if you disagree with Me. The fact of the matter is it matters where you place your body to fight matters which is called tactics. secondly you can't fight 50 dudes so it's at least more realistic than the Mord.

Played both games and i have 180+ hours in Mordhau and 20+ hours in Chiv 2. Yet i say Chiv 2 has a way better and more realistic fighting and physics system, better maps and better community (there are very few people being toxic in the chat). In Mordhau, i love the 1v1 duel system and the horde mode too, but i still prefer Chiv 2 even tho im only level 30 in it right now.

Mordhau's incredibly high skill floor just kills the superior map designs and vast customisation options. I pretty much can't enjoy the game other than playing as an archer... Chivalry 2 had a rough start, but being able to actually play the game as a melee class, and always having some supportive capabilities via class skills are what tips the scales hard for me.

They added newbie servers last update, where rookies get to fight more equal opponents. Maybe you want to give those a go (if you still are in the skill bracket required to play on those).
