How to Input your questionnaire responses into your SPSS

when entering questions do i have to put each question under variable view or put one question under variable view then the rest of questions under the data view column of question one

All your questions will be under the variable view.
You take one questions at a time. After entering the question in the variable view, then you need to code your response using numbers.
Then automatically, it appears in the data view then you can start imputing those codes or number in the data view
