    Now make a video showing how to upgrade cameras that are connected to an NVR because that doesn't seem nearly as easy for some reason and I'd like it to be!

      These videos are ridiculous they don't even match on how to update the cameras and when one of your clients ask you to refer to an article that again doesn't answer the question.

      The video in the support link is what you want. Download the IPC camera upgrade file for the cams u have. Plug the USB with the files into your NVR. On the NVR, go the maintenance. In maintenance, select the "upgrade IPC" option. Then just select the file for each cam. Be sure to your cams match the file downloaded.

    My client does not show the info option for the POE camera. I want to upgrade the camera's firmware since it detecting false vehicle alarms

      Also, pls upgrade the Reolink Client to the latest version.

      @@ReolinkCameras I have the latest version of Reolink Client for Mac v8.8.2, the same for the NVR and the iphone app and none of them shows the "info" option or the "upgrade firmware" option for the PoE camera. I'm sure is a bug.

    There's no INFO under Camera in the newest client version. Can't find older versions. How can I update my camera then?

      @@mariusboomer1706 You can just find the information of the camera under the NVR on the monitor. It can't be seen in the Client now.

      @@ReolinkCameras So how do you get to where you can update the firmware on the camera? Only can see where to update the NVR.

      @@lounv If you connect the camera directly to the NVR, you can only find the info and upgrade the firmware of the camera under the NVR on the monitor.

      If you connect the camera via the PoE switch, which is under the same router as the NVR. You can add the camera as a standalone camera and add it to the NVR.
      Now you can upgrade the firmware on the Client.
      You can visit the download center to download the firmware, reolink.com/download-center/.

    How can I upgrade the camera/ipc firmware via the windows client when the cameras are connected to an NVR?? It seems impossible! B800 cameras and 410 nvr

      If you want to have the previous version, you can contact our support team for help, support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
      You can playback the camera video on the APP if you insert an SD card into the camera.

    On my mac, the unzipped file is greyed out so I cannot select it. I am logged in as the admin, Any thoughts?

      Can you check if you have downloaded the correct firmware for your camera? You need to find the firmware according to the camera model and hardware version, reolink.com/download-center/.

    I just bricked my RLC-410 Camera because i downloaded and used the RLC-410 Firmware (which didn't even have the correct file extension). After some research i found out that i should have used the RLC522 Firmware. Your downloadcenter is a huge pile of .....

    the download files are not .pak on reolink site, they are .REOLINK.IPC_515B16M5M

    I am using IPC_523128M5MP.951_22041567.RLC-510A.OV05A10.5MP.REOLINK.pak to update RLC-510A
    NVR says Wrong FIle Version.
    Other RLC-510A camera updated no problem.

      @@ReolinkCameras Ut turned out to be different hardware.
      This is confusing and misleading. People order model number assuming they get a feature, but model does not always support the features unless it has correct hardware.
      This is absurd. Hardware should be part of the model. RLC-510A RLC-510A_V2 etc and
      Even firmware is not compatible.

      @@ReolinkCameras The download center is not helping. Same model camera with different hardware version do not support same firmware. I cannot update half my cameras because firmware does not work with my camera due to hardware difference.
      in order to reduce misunderstanding, enable update server via NVR interface.
