Looks really good. BUT ....... I have an inherent distrust of suction cups - particularly in a 4wd going off road - can the mount be screwed down? For example i have a 'tray' on top of my dash for sunnies etc - could it be hard fastened to that? Any price guide?
Yep you can screw it down if you want to, but it you clean the area and mount this thing it will not go anywhere :).

looks like it detaches from the mount anyway. So then just use a mount of your choice, RAM for example.
So your phone connects to the portable which connects to your phone but to play sound you need an aux or another Bluetooth device?
Do any of these portable Android Auto/Apple CarPlay units have inbuilt DAB+? I want to add Android Auto/Apple Carplay on my vehicle without changing the factory stereo but also want to add DAB+ digital radio. Please let me know, cheers!
Can you make one for Motorbikes as well? Would love to have one of these on my BMW R1250GS. Just make it waterproof and a RAM mount compatible.

Hi Nathan, really interested, I have a just purchased a autovox TW1 wireless camera. Is there a way to run the wireless camera off the EZ play monitor?, or would I have to use separate screens? Thanks in advance
With this one youll need to use the wired connection (if it has one) wireless should be fine too as long as the screen side has an RCA input.
These need to be made so none of the cables show when its installed. As it is, the power cable sticking out the side like that is a deal breaker for me.

No every single one of this portable CarPlay don’t have that. There is only one unit that does. It’s the roadtop 8.8 CarPlay. It has dual Bluetooth chips. I just bought it last week and it’s amazing. And the wire ports are set in on the back so you see absolutely no wires. That is the only one I’d purchase.

I wonder if there is any way to listen car head unit (radio or cd) and using this thing for directions and phone calls. It would be nice if it has priority logic and momentary lower volume of directions and on phone call, momentary lower car radio volume on direction and calls etc. Does anyone know?
It does support that yes, the feature is actually derived from the phone.
@@TheFittingBay Radio derived from the phone? Then how phone can supply radio local stations? I do not have enough data on the plan. Car head unit take them from the air, while I think phone can't.

wired audio is the way to go in terms of quality of the sound. It would be even better if the audio output was proper to hook it up to an amp.

Looks like a crap. It is cheaper and cleaner to just mount a phone.
