    Ladies listen the curl activator will keep your hair moistened and retain length. My hair was growing fast and my hair dresser asked me what was l using on my hair. Curl activator on permed hair forward the few days before washing my hair. Wore my hair in a bun. Never use a hot curling iron on with activator. Great overnight treatment before was day. Do not rub activator into scalp. Apply like the lady did on this video. You will be glad you did. :)

    I love this technique and have tried it on my hair and my daughter's hair. What a huge difference in appearance of our hair. I was nervous at first looking at the S-curl name but there are so many vitamins inside of this and it is not heavy on the hair like cream moisturizers. Thank you for sharing this technique with all of us. You are a hair inspiration to all!

I just watched another one where you use the I Am leave in moisturizer and then oil.....I've never used this process hefore, but iust started today!! The more the merrier ❤

      @HairliciousInc I was not doing the seal with moisturizer and oil.....just hot oil treatments or deep conditioning....I imagined using this process would be too heavy on my hair, because my hair is not coarse and fine strands too!!! But I did do it for the first time on yesterday, and it was not heavy at all. I used S-curl and Amla oil!!

    I've been using the Scurl moisturizer, Barry Fletcher detangler and castor oil for the past year. Mix in a spray bottle and apply to the new growth. My hair has grown a several inches in the past year. This mixture also came in handy during the pandemic since I haven't had a perm since
    February 2020. I spray in on the root then work it through the hair as show. Good job and thank you for the video.

    Hi
    I to have recently in the last few months incorporated S Curl in my hair regimen. I replaced my conditioner with Aloe Vera juice and S curl after I shampoo and I don't have a lot of frizz now. I am loving it and my hair is loving it again. I use to cold wave(Jeri curl) my hair for almost 20 years and my hair loved it then and the worlds of curls gel activator I may have to revisit that also. So a few months ago when I revisited S curl ,my curls seems like they remembered and started to really curl. It's a staple. I use the LCO method and my hair stays nice and moist and its not greasy even with my DIY eco-syler-custard thats the O in my LCO.

    I only Shampoo once a week but my hair stays moisturized till I wash. I have been natural since 2010(started Texlaxing 2008) transitioned till 2010 cut the texlax out. Have been natural ever since no heat, color or dyes its a journey but I just love twists and natural styles. Still working on my wash and goes to get them the way I like them. Also love Clay rinses and prepoos they make your curls really defined

  • @FranchieH

    The main question that I have are, are all these things necessary. Are there not basic products that can be used in each category? How often do you use every product? Do you alternate or you test one and then try another. For someone like me who is trying to start a healthy hair regimen what are best and affordable products you would recommend for moisturizing, deep conditioning, sealing, condition and shampoo?

    • @HairliciousInc
      @HairliciousInc  8 років тому +1

      +Franchesa Henderson moisturizing and sealing your hair is necessary. Dry hair breaks. In order to retain length, coarse hair needs adequate moisture. Now the frequency all depends on the nature of your hair. A great line to start with would be Creme of Nature. They have excellent moisturizing shampoo's, deep conditioners and leave-ins. As for moisturizers, it's all about trial and error. Are you relaxed or natural?

    • @FranchieH
      @FranchieH 8 років тому +1

      I am relaxed and trying to start a regimen. I would say that my hair is APL. I am not sure about its porosity but my hair gets frizzy quickly.

    Hi. I've been looking at your videos (new subbie). I wish to put some effort into getting healthy hair. I was suprised at the S Curl moisturiser as that was something I would see older folks using long ago. After watching this video I went out and got it with the jojoba oil...lol. Question though, you said you use the moisturiser every night; do you also use the oil every night? I tried but found it to be a bit too heavy or my hair was a bit too wet or oily. I don't like stringy hair. Granted, my hair surely isn't as thick as yours.
    On that note, could you also explain hair porosity to us? Lol.

    Hi, have a couple of questions as I am also relaxed, Can this regimen work with the Hawaiian Silky 14-1 product in your opinion? Do you have dry scalp and if so, what do you use specifically for dry scalp? My scalp is so dry and I have no idea why as I drink plenty of water (at least 8 16,9 oz bottles of water daily) and I do not use products on my scalp that have petroleum, mineral oil, parabens, gels, etc.

      DarlingNikki2 Omg yes I love hawaiian silky 14in1 too. it works so good for my hair for 2 years now, the only thing I use to M&S

      Thanks for the response! So how do you use it exactly? Do you just put it on your ends or do you put it all over your hair? I'd like to use it, but I don't want to make my hair to get 'poofy.'

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece 8 років тому

      DarlingNikki2 I use it exactly like she did in this video. I moisturize and seal 2 times a week. I did a video on it but deleted it by accident

      Hey Hun. Are you relaxed or natural? What is your current regimen. Do you know your porosity level?

    • @kiarafrazier9353
      @kiarafrazier9353 8 років тому

      I'm now natural and my regimen is spraying water into my hair then putting coconut oil into it everyday washing my hair every two weeks and having a repair mask once a month and (I think) I have low porosity level

    When you had your perm redone, did you have any problems with it? Like the perm not taking or hair falling out? Was there any reactions to using the activator on permed hair? Thank you.
