This is part 161 of the series (Boxes 305-306) and I do plan on updating it from each penny box I hunt from this point forward until the penny coin collection is nearly completed! Also, we will be updating the Canadian Small Cents Albums going forward as well.

I once found a gold 2.50 coin in a customer wrapped dime roll.
I just found my first ever 1909 in a roll hunt 2 days ago, that's quite a thrill even though it's not worth a ton.
I found a 1909 in a bank box too. Didn’t take me as long as you. Guess I didn’t realize what a special find that was.

I only found 2 1909.s one was a 1909 no mint vdb was in about a.u shape! The other was a very worn 1909 no mint v.d.b out of hundreds of boxes! Nice finds Brother! You get some nice boxes!

Boy that 1909 sure was worn out! I’ve gotten a few decent ones here up in the Northeast this year but I guess they’re a little more common up here. Found my 5th 2023 VDB-V the other day.

That's an amazing find the oldest one I found is a 1917 and that's over 100 years old keep making great videos hope you find more of them

Very nice 1909!! The 1996 gold plated has an urban legend that It comes from annealing class, a roll of 50. 18 karat gold plated. Showing up all over the United States. Worth holding.

Never found a worn 1909 cent in circulation. The ones I've encountered have been XF and up (collection dumps). Nice find.

Today I went to the bank got a box of nickles and their were 2 rolls of old Buffalo nickles in very good shape. I was so pleased ❤😊

Back in July of this year I acquired a 1909 P VDB red brown that is absolutely outstanding from its eye appeal! As far as a grade I give it an MS 63! How much would you think this coin is worth???? ??????

Question: how do you know what’s copper and what’s zinc? Certain years? Magnetic?
Everything pre-1982 is copper, but there are copper and zinc 1982s. You can tell the difference by weighing them, I don't remember what the specific weights are but it's easy to find with a google search.

Your videos drive me nuts. My last 20 boxes of cents yielded a total of common 21 wheats. Last 10 boxes of nickels had 1 very worn buffalo, 1 decent V nickel and 8 war nickels. Last 6 dime boxes had 1 1965 silver Canadian. Last 5 quarters had 1 1948. 5 different banks and one credit union. Am I unlucky or doing it wrong?
Your not doing anything wrong that my friend is usually how it goes multiple boxes with no real luck the more I watch Robs videos the more suspect I've become on if he really finds all of these or is there more to it!!!
It's luck of the draw ... I worked at Loomis a few years ago and some of them coin bags coming in from the coin star type machines especially the bank ones, you see some amazing coin dumps......
@tfort66633 I watch EVERY video & there have been plenty of terrible boxes. Some hunts he has opened 5+ boxes just to get enough for a video. ~That 1909 was very slick & worth $3-$5. His reputation is worth a whole lot more than that👍
