- i try and beat ratchet and clank 2002 for the ps2 on the ps3 while using melee weapons, but primarily the walloper, to see how reasonable it is. it's not.

It's something I've always wanted to do in this game, but it's too impractical to kill everything with the wrench. It sucks too because the wrench is the most powerful in this game, so this would be the easiest game to do a wrench-only challenge.

This game was my whole childhood, and this video might be one of my favorites on it already. I'm only seven minutes in so far and the editing and writing is absolutely superb. Almost drenched my laptop in spat coffee over "Yeah, Quark is dead."

Who cares if it's reasonable? It's a TYSON run. Ever since DOOM, Tyson runs make men into legends. And yes, I'm counting wrench along with Walloper as melee for this, so in my eyes you successfully made it through this challenge when applicable. I'm glad I discovered this through the algorithm.

I used to participate in the speedrun of this game. When the walloper was discovered and added to the speedrun is when the game really started to open up. It kindof took it from a run of building and running straight passed everything to starting at max speed and maintaining it as long as you can

As someone who started back when this game here was the only one existing from the franchsie, I see no problem with it.
UYA had so many things missing that I can't say it is better then ACiT.
It is still a awesome game, but lacks to much compared to the other Mainline RaC.

Great video, I really enjoyed the way you edited defeating the enemies and the deaths. It's really fun to look at footage from the old games. With most challenges in Ratchet and Clank 1, that final boss is always the toughest part, he's so tanky. Heck, most normal playthroughs I still run out of ammo and have to use the PDA to order more ammo.

I've done this myself from a new game, as tough as R&C1 is it's surprising forgiving enough to allow for such shenanigans definitely likes to wear out it's welcome but that's nothing a little R&R can't fix.

The Walloper is such a fun weapon. It's a shame the second game made the RC1 weapons awful to make a point, because I would have gone through the whole game with that thing in my quick select. Same story with the tesla claw.
I see a Ratchet and Clank challenge I press like button and save the video in my playlist. The rules are the rules, everyone knows the rules. Rules are the only think that separates us from animals.
