I really wish I had watched this sooner. I made the mistake of formatting the receiver to exFAT in Disk Utility on my Mac to stop the error messages, but it ended up breaking the receiver’s software and making it unusable. In the end, I had to buy a new one just to get back to where I started. Please don't do anything. Take care.
@@technickr No way. It's not being recognized by my Mac or via USB-C. If it were, I would have tried dragging the latest firmware file to update it and fix the issue.
@@technickr I contacted DJI Global, and unfortunately, in India, they only offer replacements if the device is still under warranty. If it’s not, you’ll need to buy a new one.
I keep getting a "cannot use accessory, this accessory uses too much power" error the moment it is plugged in to the Iphone 15 pro. Is there a solution to this?
Also when that doesn't pop up, it simply will not record the audio. The mic will be on and plugged in but it will use the Iphone's build in mic instead.
Naive question, is the plug on the DJI Mic plugged in correctly? Sometimes it jumps out of the intended position if you press on the wrong spot when plugging in the microphone.
I believe so, I have tried many times. Oddly enough it did work once but never again. I'm concerned that the adapter it came with is defective@@TechnickrGlobal

:-( So you werent able to rebuild the firmware? Do you still have it? There must be a way.

@@technickr Yes, I still have it.
@@rushilshah13 ask the support. They have special software to fix broken firmwares.

Danke, sehr interessant!
Gracias, es importante tener este tipo de experiencias
Is there a way to do pro res to external drive and the DJI mic at the same time?
Didn't have tried that so far. Theoretically you need an usbc splitter/hub with a low power consumption (w/o any other functions).
Does it work fine with non Prores 4k videos
I also works fine with prores if you ignore the error message
@@technickr thnks😃

@@Go_Podcast I cannot reproduce this error. So unfortunately I can't help you with that. What iOS Version?
