@@HaveYourADVENTURE And LONG overdue! I'm working on another video giving my first impressions of the 15 Pro Max, which are very favorable for the most part. Spoiler alert! I did gig Apple for holding on to the lightning port so long and in my opinion there had to be some financial reason because there certainly isn't a technical reason I can see! Thanks for watching! I hope you become a regular viewer.
I’m not sure if you can help me. I’m not using the DJI Mike but I do have wireless mics and I also have a shotgun mic and for some reason my 15 Pro Max will not recognize them and if it does, the playback has terrible echo I’ve searched everywhere on the Internet and from what I can see I must be the only person in this world that has had this problem. It’s unfortunate because I upgraded for the camera quality on projects but seem to of lost audio quality completely as a result. I have all Apple certified adapters for the usb c to 3.5 and usb c to usb c for my wireless, I’ve tried mono and stereo settings to see if that made a difference it doesn’t and I’ve reset all usb hundreds of times and tried both headphones and other device as options.
Hi Tommy. I'll see if we can figure it out. The native camera app should select a mic connected to the USB C automatically. The native app doesn't have a way to manually select the audio source. Have you tried any other camera app? The BlackMagic app for example will allow you to select the internal mic, the USB C mic or a bluetooth mic in the audio settings. Beast cam will allow you to select the internal mic of your choice (front, back or bottom) or the USB C mic. Let me know if this helped and thanks for watching!
@@ed-tech-review I tried BC and the only microphone that shows up is the default iPhone one and I’ve tried three different ones. So I’m honestly not sure.
Thank you for the test. Does the dji mic also work with the native camera app on the iPhone 15 or do you need to use filmic pro?
Yes, it works with the native camera app. The only problem I had on the 14 was the lightning adapter.
@@ed-tech-review thank you. The switch to USBc in iPhone is a true blessing
