Wow! What a luxury having you both together at the same time! I'm 57 and I always follow your advise. By the way Gary, please post more clips about Tricon sets... they were lifesavers for me because almost all my joints hurt and I can't do heavy weights anymore. Tricons are awesome! Keep it up guys!

I agree with all this. I have been eating right, I do not eat sweets, or use sugar. I rarely eat any kind of sweets. I work out using your video routines and RA after 40 as a template. It's spring and I am landscaping and working outside like crazy but I have been gaining weight. I read an article about how this pandemic has raised cortisol level for a lot of people because of raised level of fear, anxiety and depression. My life was turned upside down from the get go of the stay at home order. I am a singer song writer and crafter and all my gigs and venues are canceled. This hit me hard. I ma trying to reinvent myself in this new reality and work out differently at home. I also started an intense on line yoga course. I get a lot of cardio when I am landscaping. My property is sloped and I do a lot of pushing a wheel barrow of materials up and down hills. This week was a killer and I am so sore. Do you have any other advice for a guy who wants to lose only 10 pounds and is 67. A lot of your material here is great and I am on it for the most part. I do circuits, super sets and keep moving. I don't stand around a lot. I get my heart rats up, same when I am landscaping and dong yard work. any way thanks for the pep talk.

Get a 6qt Instant Pot and learn to cook the bachelor way. Get the large 6qt as you can put less in this largest version, but you can't put more in a smaller version. You can saute, slow cook and pressure cook in the Instant Pot

I'm not gonna lie, I'm sitting back comfortably enjoying this video (Live Anabolic is one of my favourite YT channels) gobbling a giant helping of homemade tiramisu... I just couldn't resist the temptation, eating the forbidden fruit has been the curse of humankind ever since Day 1... On a serious note, I NEVER drink alcohol and never eat processed foods, so the 20 grams of pure white sugar, albeit "unhealthy", don't really affect me aside from making me feel lethargic following the spike crash, which is ok since I simply take a nap when that happens and the extra sleep actually enhances muscle recovery...) Booze is the culprit (even social drinking) and Squat is King ;)

Very interesting video. Will def put some of the exercise tips to use.
What if you lower or limit your carb intake (Not including veggies) because you're a Type 2 Diabetic and do not want your blood glucose levels to spike so you don't have to keep taking exogenous insulin since you can NOT burn fat when insulin levels are high?
Also how do the tips for raising our natural levels of testosterone play into things if We're on Testosterone Replacement Therapy (Testosterone Cypionate) so/because our natural production of testosterone has stopped?

@J G Study after study shows processed meats and meat, in general, are unhealthy AND very bad for the environment. Here is just one: "Eliminating red and processed meat from the diet can lead to a reduced risk for heart disease, diabetes, and colorectal cancer, according to a study in the British Medical Journal Open. The same study showed that participants who consumed the least amount of red and processed meat also used 0.45 tons less of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
It takes 660 gallons of water to make a single burger. By comparison, the average person uses 17 gallons of water when they shower. One pound of beef uses 1,799 gallons of water, compared to one pound of soybeans which require 216 gallons of water. Livestock production also pollutes water with antibiotics and uses 75 percent of Earth’s agricultural land. Aston LM, Smith JN, Powles JW. Impact of a reduced red and processed meat dietary pattern on disease risks and greenhouse gas emissions in the UK: a modeling study. BMJ Open. 2012;2:pii:3001072.
If you want to know the truth about eating animal fat and its effects on disease and your health, pick up a copy of Dr. T. Colin Campbell's book. "The China Study." It will open your eyes. Food can be medicine or it can cause needles health issues and diseases. Healthy living everyone!

High Testosterone Linked to Prostate Cancer Risk. ... Testosterone is needed for the normal growth of the prostate, and it's possible that high levels of the hormone accelerate the growth of prostate cancer, the researchers said. However, the new study found only an association, not a cause-effect link.Jul 27, 2012

Wow, I'm surprised you're actually advocating the use of cold cuts. They are loaded with preservative and sodium, very unhealthy. It's not just about looking good, it's also about living a healthier lifestyle. Besides, it takes very little effort to throw a chicken breast or beef patty on to a Foreman grill and microwave some frozen veggies.

Thanks god you've learned about sugar, but you are so behind on fats! My younger brother is like you with his low fat diet: he is only 50 but looks more like 60 y.o.! Eating fat and being fat is not the same remember! People get fat because of sugar and insulin resistance. Do some study, move with times!

Gentlemen with all my respect ✊ greeting good habits....don’t eat anything that has a mother, that crawls, that flies that swim...meaning animal flesh....any type of oils...is just liquid fat....eat what is growing from the earth....you are talking about fat.....but you are eating animal muscle which all of them contains fat no matter how LEAN that meat 🍖 is....dairy all dairy is full of fats.....you are talking about the SAD habits that must Americans eat.....the work outs are fine....but what you eat will ruin all the gains....by eating the flesh of animals dairy. And oils....nice video but some bad information on nutrition....
