Thanks Josh for the demo and explanation. I am having a hard time finding horse weed big enough in western Nebraska. I see it, but it is 1/4 the size you have in Ohio. Yucca, mullien and sunflower will be the next best thing here. We have huge tumbleweeds here, and I plan to insert a short piece of it ‘s stalk in a willow spindle.

The hearth board is eastern cottonwood. I mention that towards the end of the video. 👍🏼
