What are the Pros. & Cons. of HARD WIRING - DDPAI Mini 5 ?
Pros: No wires hanging around or taking your charger plug that you can use for something else, Looks clean, Parking Mode so Always recording based on your settings, once you hardwire you don't have to think about the camera pretty much.
Cons: Drains your battery while in parking mode, but has voltage protection so it will shutdown the camera before killing your battery, and yeah I can't really think of any other cons for this one..hope this helps you :)
thank you
thanks 👍
Fuse value for the camera?
Equal to or less than the fuse you are tapping into, most likely a 10amp will do.
BMW M4 where is VCC Fuse?
Inside the fuse box the VCC fuse is any fuse which has power to it with Ignition turned off. In order to determine which one it is you need a volt meter.

Hello.
What setting on the ddpai mini5 do you find are the best?
Thank you for your question. I am on 4K resolution, condensed (time lapse) parking mode recording. Auto off on medium voltage. This has been working great for me.
@@fixflickss I probably will not use parking mode so I'm guessing 30fp
@@fixflickss I think for parking mode it needs to be hard wired
@@predatorhunteranon8315 correct, this video explains how to hardwire it if you would like the option. The kit I used is in the description
@@fixflickss I doubt I will hard wire it.
I will just use the lighter plug socket.
Are there any UA-cam videos on the actual setting up on the app?
My item will be with me in a couple of days
Is a subaru forester?
WRX
And this will not drain the battery
The camera has voltage monitoring which shuts off the camera if the battery voltage drops to a level set in the cam app settings
