Teddy displayed good patience during this interview. When you have such an interesting guest who has a ton of great things to say, Teddy just let him go, and occasionally interjected to move on to the next line of watches as needed for time. I ended up watching until the end. Great interview Teddy, and yes that Teutonia IV chrono is stunning!

I agree. Thilo Muhle is not a marketing guy. He’s a German (so details tend to matter more) who is deeply committed to the craft and has faith that “if you build it, they will come”. As a result, Thilo didn’t concern himself with the attention span of the common viewer. But if you’re interested in the long form story (as I am), it’s a great video. Teddy continues to move this channel forward!

Having worked my entire career for a German firm, many years ago when I had to select a watch for my 25th anniversary, I lucked out in the fact that the local jeweller who was one of the selected suppliers carry Mühle. I had never heard of the brand, but was immediately struck by the clean, crisp design, the excellent workmanship and finish, and the no nonsense approach.
I left that day the proud owner of a 29er big, white face and brown leather strap. It has been my daily wear ever since and in all those years it hasn't missed a beat, it is a conversation starter with other watch fans and it really straddles both the casual and dress/work roles perfectly.
It was wonderful to hear Thilo speak about the family firm and the passion and use-case led approach has left me, if anything, more impressed by them.
I wish Thilo and all at Mühle continued success and thanks for shining a spotlight on such an honest, but mainly (undeservedly) unknown brand Teddy - great content as ever!

I recently purchased the Terrasport II on Teddy's website. It's going to arrive tomorrow. I am a huge fan of simple, no nonsense, easy to read watch faces I love the company's down to earth approach to watch making. I also support these independent, still family owned businesses. I hope this stays that way. Another independently, family owned German watch making company is Archimede. I highly recommend both companies. Thank you Teddy for doing what you do. You are the best.

The SAR is the English Bull terrier of the watch world. Never experienced a tougher watch. Exudes quality, time keeps with the best and that lume! 😍. I probably gave this watch the biggest knock against my door knob, ever. I squinted, looked at my crystal... nothing; looked at the knob, dent. I own Rolex, Omega, Panerai , Cartier, GP and Tudor. This watch sits at the round table with them all.

My SAR is the perfect daily "beater" watch, and the ProMare Go is such a great summer or vacation watch that can be dressed up or down and can also be taken swimming or the beach. Both watches have been very accurate and durable. MG watches are so underrated.

I like this video alot, thx Teddy. I bought my Marine-Fliegerchronometer M2 in 1997 for around DM 1500,-- if I remember correctly. I was working as an assistant cameraman on 35 mm film cameras that time. For me this was an affordable daily watch that met my requirements for precision and sturdyness. That saphire glass never let me down and left me speechless so many times. Grand brand! Time for a revision I guess ;-)

In November of 2022 I purchased the Teutonia IV Blue Moon highlighted in this video. I LOVE it. It's a pleasure to gaze upon. The moon/star phase dial is wonderful and i also LOVE the transparent case back. UNFORTUNATELY even though I've kept it on a winder when not in use it only in the last few weeks it began losing tens of mins in a matter of days. I am sending it back to Arizona Fine Time to be serviced under warranty. I am not deterred.. Hoping this is a minor glitch in the long life of this watch.

As an engineer, I was very interested to hear this story line. It’s amazing that they were able to keep their hands on the family business while being part of the GDR “eastern block” for as long as they did. The vision never died. The efforts were about the dream. Their instruments are some of the best! I thought the explanations of the dial made so much sense. And the belief you cannot destroy by human hands is an amazing statement.

Very well done interview. Love what this brand is doing. Bought a SAR with white dial last year. The red arrow tip of the seconds hand adds a nice subtle contrast and flare to an otherwise no nonsense Teutonic dial. The luminous white dial adds another interesting visual at night. Overall very happy with the quality, performance and looks. A lot of watch for the money.

Beautiful watches made with pride in one of the premier watch making areas in the world at a fair price. What’s not to love?

I really liked that date cyclops on the original, looked like you could keep the 4 o’clock indice the same size as the others and still have a very legible date.

The designs are gorgeous and unique. They also have a vintage vibe as well which I love. A Certainly has a German vibe as well. So much going on. Lots of layers. Which I love.

I have met this guy. He is cool, and very knowledgeable. His discussion of life in the East was fascinating. There are way more stories than here.
Their watches are great as well. The moonphase is my favorite.

Another great brand from this little E. German village. I didn't realize Mühle Glashütte had such a long history and is still a family run business. Well captured, well done!

Terrific video! I love my Rasmus 2000, and I'm kind of glad they don't make it anymore. I also love the SeaTimer Black Motion, and maybe I'll pick one up at some point. It's just amazing to see a guy carrying on his family business and putting out such beautiful, high quality watches. Thanks so much for doing this video!
