Totally agree. Not sure if this was mentioned, but babies who cry it out have permanent brain changes and learn that their cries do not produce a response from parents, which is why they stop crying. It destroys the trust relationship that age is currently developing. Also, sleeping in the other room while night nursing makes the baby have to cry for feedings, which is a LATE feeding cue. If cosleeping/in same room, moms are more likely to hear rooting/sniffing cues.
