From what I understand the procedure is reasonably quick and the baby cries for short period of time. Then he's set for life. THANK YOU MOM FOR YOUR DECISION!! If you asked 100 uncircumcised teenage boys if they would like to be "cut"....90 percent would say YES!!! LOOKS ARE IMPORTANT. And there are less medical issues later.; ASK ANY NURSE WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT CLEANLINESS PROBLEMS IN A HOSPITAL WITH UNCUT MEN. Give you boy a better life ladies. Make his MANHOOD LOOK GOOD!!!

I have encountered a couple of bleeding complications on our ER tracker. One of which I had to work up for CBC and PT/INR, despite the fact we didn't have true pediatric collection tubes for coagulation. Wait until after the fact to screen. Brilliant. And, ranges are not really established for newborns with pharmaceutical Vitamin K in circulation. I explained the conundrum to the ER, physician, who just had me run samples anyway. At some point he said I'll ask Dr. ________ (the cutter) what she wants to do. Right, then ask Jerry Sandusky what he wants to do to the kid. Doing nothing at all is risk for hemorrhagic disease of the newborn, hence vitamin K administration, but cutting an artery is not. Makes sense, right?

I want you to know how much I appreciate your podcast, I've heard you on other podcasts. I've been an Intactavist all of my life. However, I got the impression that here in the USA we are the only ones who circumcize. No we are not alone. South Korea, the Phillipines, Japan thanks to our American presence during the past wars has adopted as we have in the USA full infant circumcision. The Philipines does it at age 12. They make a big ritual out of it and do it en masse. All Muslim countries, Israel, many African countries practice circumcision for different reasons. For whatever reason it's brutal and barbaric. Keep up the good work, many people in your field and especially doctors are very quiet about this barbaric practice on infants.

The foreskin is not a birth defect.

I have a question about an aspect of foreskin care that seems to be controversial with no real consensus. And I wanted to know if you could help. Is it really medically necessary or at least medically advisable and medically recommended to retract the foreskin back to urinate? The rationale behind such behavior is typically in two parts. The first part is that urinating with the foreskin not retracted is allegedly and supposedly a bad idea because if not retracted, it could result in the foreskin blocking the urinary meatus and causing a mess when urinating. The second part is that urinating without retracting the foreskin can cause urine residue to collect under the foreskin and result in bad smells, irritation, and infections. But another side to this conversation is that it’s not necessary for reasons such as: in some individuals, leaving the foreskin covering the glans or head of the penis can promote a urine stream that is clean and does not cause a mess; urine under the foreskin will not cause any health issues as long as one cleans under the foreskin regularly.

Such BS won't be tolerated anymore by boys. My brother and parents are all intact and have NEVER had any issue with foreskin. But cutting it off permanently desensetises the glans and makes it harder for you to achieve orgasm as you age, not only that, your orgasms are much weaker than originally intended by nature.

It's pretty sad that one has to go to a porn website to find a video to watch to see how an adult male properly cleans their 'intact' penis. So, one may be reluctant to share the video with others since because it's on a porn website one may be reluctant to share the link. It looked easier to for me for him to clean his 'intact' penis than it is for me to clean my mutilated penis. I hesitate to call it 'circumcised' since I don't view it as a surgery since I was attacked as a newborn and mutilated. I don't consider it a medical surgery. They just messed up 'God' or 'Natures' created by inflicting major damage and theft of someone else's body part. I was treated as an enemy or garbage or slave or piece of furniture just because they could do it. I don't like cleaning my mutilation penis in the shower. There isn't much of it so what's the point of cleaning it. At least a so called foreskin wouldn't have actually made it worth cleaning and I would be able to tell if I cleaned it enough by how it feels. My sensitivity is so messed up on my penis that I have a difficult time riding a bicycle with a seat on it and I can't feel any penile pleasure sensitivity so I don't see why people have sex unless it's strictly for procreation but what point is procreation if you can't even enjoy the process of making a baby plus why would one want to make a baby if they are just going to get mutilation by pro-mutilating butchers that some call doctors. I don't even trust doctors because of all the health problems that the genital mutilation by so called doctors caused me when I didn't even have any problems with my penis before the mutations was perpetrated onto my newborn body.

Our Pediatrician didn’t know this and scared my 12 son and I by wanting us to see a urologist because he may want to remove his foreskin! We were like WHAT!!! Nooo way!! I'm hearing half uncirc "pro's" say 4-6 yr old is when they start to retract, and you have to tell them to gently pull it back to clean, vs adolescence when they start to become head strong. With so many people saying so many different things the mental anguish/confusion is something I also don't want my son to go through. I've heard smegma build up getting real bad around 4-5 yr with infections, "ballooning" stories, and the term "D*** cheese". Circ is awful too, had 2 that were circ when I was unaware what I know now, it was easy, they were independent, I didn't have to fool with it, from my experience circ men tend to have distrust with women, which could also be from bad influences. I'm trying to make a decision, the best one for my son is counting on me when he's born, but there's so many people who are never wrong, this is mental frustration, both roads look like they suck, *#%^. My brains about to pop out, and just skip town.
