I sometimes add a small amount of ground sausage also...not a large piece. It makes all the difference in the flavor. I put an over easy egg on just my burger at the end. The rest of the ingredients are what I choose at the time. I know his is tasty, though.
@@ladyj1092 no point of eating turkey then lol you supposed to eat Turkey because it's healthier then other meats you might as well eat a regular burger

While Jimmie Dean is delicious, I don’t eat or purchase Jimmie Dean or pork sausage due to health concerns. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Jimmie Dean turkey sausage. I’ve seen other brands, but not Jimmie Dean.

Great idea on sausage IMO. They make 85% turkey sausage. For the people that don't like the pork idea. I'm going to try these this week.
Omg...looks sooooo good. Turkey is a little difficult to cook with sometimes. You just gave me some needed tips. Thank you

That is very true. It was for my own personal taste. It was the bomb though.
Great recipe! Didn’t add the pork because we didn’t have any but thank you for the foundation!

What kind of Jimmy Dean? Is it pork? Asking because the reason a lot of people make turkey burgers is that they can’t have pork.
Jimmy Deans mild sausage. Only for my taste. Those who dismiss the pork will be fine without it.
Do I have to add egg, I made t burgers once and used egg. It made me wonder if the flavor better without egg.
Eggs just make the meat bond better. No flavor benefits. Thanks
What does the corn starch do?
Looks good
Making this now
That's what I'm dating about! Thanks
Thank you for your turkey burger recipe cuz it can be fragile at times.
