I got some ground Turkey something I never eat & don't know what to do with. This video had some good tips & some weird ones. I mixed in a lot of the ingredients, steak sauce, soy sauce, mustard, minced garlic & instead of the butter (since I don't have a gull bladder) I mixed in an egg. It came out really good especially with the sauteed veggies on top!
I've learned two very important things while cooking these recipes: 1: Sam makes me look good on the grill... 2: The value of a solid kitchen knife... Damnit Sam... I see what you're doing here... I bought the knife... Can't wait!!!

Rally no need to use that much butter, just a little will do the same thing. I actually use a tablespoon of olive oil and that works great. You just need to add back a little fat to make them juicy.
Just made these burgers the other day . Step by step but instead of thick soy sauce I used country bobs sauce . And these burgers came out wonderful . Turkey Burger came out better then any store bought or restaurant made I have ever tasted .
As a person who developed an allergy to red/mammal meat, I appreciate what he did here. Turkey burgers are crap until you add some fat. I usually add oil, an egg, and some bread crumbs to tie it all together. Havent tried the butter before. Thanks for the tip Sam. Honestly could have watched this just for the roasted garlic mayo. Lipton beefy onion soup mix will also keep your turkey burgers from being dry and will add flavor, especially when adding additional seasonings of your choice.

What i do when i roast garlic and onions is olive oil the roasting tray, cut the garlics straight down the middle and same with the onions then face the open cut side face down. Leave all the skins on and if you don't use foil you get more of a caramelizeation. It's a brilliant way to make gravy for a roast dinner.
Pro tip from a Philly guy.. Next time you make a Philly cheesesteak kiss the peppers and onions with soy sauce... They all do it but nobody talks about it lol.

Whenever I make Turkey cutlets, patties, or anything with ground Turkey, I found that a bit of fresh ground nutmeg really elevates it to another level!

Red meat is a proven carcinogen, no such consensus on poultry. So yeah in one way it’s not a healthier alternative in terms of fat, but it’s still a healthier alternative to red meat. Gotta weigh the risks, clogged arteries/obesity from saturated fats or stomach/intestinal cancer from red meat.

Going to my dad's house always means talking about Sam the cooking guy. Tonight for fathers Day dinner his fiance and me surprised him with the Sam the cooking guy knife. At this point I forgot I watched this episode and didn't enter him for the competition! This Evo grill would make his life. He's done so much for me and loves all your cooking. I love Sam having discovered him at the start of the year and I've made it my ritual to watch a video almost daily (amusingly while I eat lunch). I've liked/subscribed/followed..so I'm a fan! This video really triggered me though. 1. The amount of butter used was just completely stupid to the point where it's a butter burger with turkey added as a binder/filler. Then adding oil on top...uggh. 2. Blowing repeatedly on the burger. In a COVID era I found that disgusting and really amateur hour. 3. The oddball sponsors that have nothing to do with cooking continues. From earphones to now computer security? Is My Pillow next? I really couldn't take this entry seriously and it just felt like it was an attempt at trolling.

I made this, and it was super good. I’m not really a mayo on a burger person, but the roasted garlic mayo was great. I used havarti. Also a week earlier I made a slow cooker pulled pork, that I smoked for 30 minutes after it fell apart in the crock pot. I took all of the left over fat and liquid and put it in a container. I mixed some of it into the onions and jalapeños once caramelized, and it was next level. I also used a little less butter, and added in some of the pulled pork fat. I think everyone told me how amazing the food was about 6 times each. Great recipe

I had my doubts because I haven’t had a Turkey Burger I ever liked. I bought 4 one pound packages of Butter Ball ground Turkey at Costco thinking I would use it for Tacos. I got pressed into using some of the Burger in the last minute. I followed your lead and used the 1 quarter pound butter to 1 pound of Turkey Burger I adjusted the ingredients using season salt, garlic, onion powder pepper. Put them on the grill till about 160 degrees. They turned out great. I definitely will do again. The Butter made the difference.

I love Sam having discovered him at the start of the year and I've made it my ritual to watch a video almost daily (amusingly while I eat lunch). I've liked/subscribed/followed..so I'm a fan! This video really triggered me though.
1. The amount of butter used was just completely stupid to the point where it's a butter burger with turkey added as a binder/filler. Then adding oil on top...uggh.
2. Blowing repeatedly on the burger. In a COVID era I found that disgusting and really amateur hour.
3. The oddball sponsors that have nothing to do with cooking continues. From earphones to now computer security? Is My Pillow next?
I really couldn't take this entry seriously and it just felt like it was an attempt at trolling.
Besides the product ad mid video?
@@mrdisco1 I feel like all of Sam's recent vids have mostly been gluttonous, shock value foods, or hes ripping off fast food joints. And its getting real old. Now product ads in the middle of the video?

I love Turkey burgers.
I made this, and it was super good. I’m not really a mayo on a burger person, but the roasted garlic mayo was great. I used havarti. Also a week earlier I made a slow cooker pulled pork, that I smoked for 30 minutes after it fell apart in the crock pot. I took all of the left over fat and liquid and put it in a container. I mixed some of it into the onions and jalapeños once caramelized, and it was next level. I also used a little less butter, and added in some of the pulled pork fat. I think everyone told me how amazing the food was about 6 times each. Great recipe

Seeing Sam talking about the Norton 360 is hilarious 😆. Don't take my job man, IT's the only stuff I do sort of well, it's sad that I have to live knowing I can't compete with your cooking skills. 😄. Jokes apart, you did an amazing job explaining the Norton stuff.
I had my doubts because I haven’t had a Turkey Burger I ever liked. I bought 4 one pound packages of Butter Ball ground Turkey at Costco thinking I would use it for Tacos. I got pressed into using some of the Burger in the last minute. I followed your lead and used the 1 quarter pound butter to 1 pound of Turkey Burger I adjusted the ingredients using season salt, garlic, onion powder pepper. Put them on the grill till about 160 degrees. They turned out great. I definitely will do again. The Butter made the difference.
