    Love all your recipes, they're always easy to follow without any super exotic ingredient's. I've always been a die hard chicken breast eater, but after trying the chicken thigh you often use I've been converted, it's cheaper and juicier.

    I made this today though of course in my case I always use boneless skinless chicken breasts. Smells and tastes super good! I'm not sure how many of your recipes I've made but I've watched your videos for a while! Thanks for this recipe that as soon as I saw the video I knew I was going to make it!

      Hi Indra, we didn't add anything red to our dish. Hmm maybe it's the lighting. Yes you can add chilli paste but I suggest you make the dish exactly like what we did in the video and then next time you can add chilli paste to it. How does that sound?

    4:55 Sorry, searing the meat to "seal in the juices" is a myth that has been busted ages ago. But it does build flavour through the Maillard reaction.

      No. Corn flour is made using the whole corn kernels while corn starch is derivative from the starchy part the corn kernel but for this application, corn starch will work just as well

    Should put shimeiji brown and fresh shitake instead put the same shimeiji (white) or Oyster mushrooms (best)

      Hihi. Maintain your fire at medium and it should be okay. If your garlic is browning too fast, reduce the heat. Hope this helps. Happy cooking!
