I wanted Band of Brothers with an ODST paint job. Make it gritty, make it a war series. Tell the stories we never got to hear.

The Paramount Halo show is truly a great disappointment and I wish it actually followed Halo 1-3 and Reach. This though, is how the 343 GAMES should have been. 343 tried to remake Halo into a different game altogether with 4 and 5.
Apparently it was a thing of just a bunch of writers trying to do different things and not communicating with eachother. It’s really sad. Wish they just made an animated show, would’ve worked so much better.

I really hope Noble 6 doesn't have a voice and all the storytelling is done subtly, environmentally, and through others' dialogue. Looks pretty solid so far
Noble 6 did have a voice in the game, but the amount of times he talked was like 5 words or less.
He did say a line during the trailer, but could just be that Six has few lines and wanted to show his voice here

My thoughts on the trailer you just showed? I didn't like it. ESPECIALLY the very last shot with the cape. It was stupid in the halo 5 trailer. It's very stupid in this trailer and looks more like destiny than halo.

I don't understand either. Spartan 3s were never involved in the Reach event, and were all either on missions or back at Onyx, their base of operations.
They were not as powerful as Spartans 2 and did not have the armor upgrades that were a recent acquisition in 2552 before Reach fell. And Master Chief was one of the few with the shield technology.
This includes the underwhelming SPI armor, far less advanced and durable to the Mjolnir armor from Spartan 2s. Spartans 3s were almost always killed as they took part in stealth or "suicidal" operations.

Why post Halo Reach? I mean nice animation and all, but Reach betrayed the lore that was established in The Fall of Reach novel ... like pretty hard.
How the whole war in the game went was not at all how it went in the novel. It didn't take "days" for Reach to fall, it merely took hours, that's how advance and ruthless the Covenant were.
There are novels that go over Halo 1 and it should have been their inspiration to continue the story.

@@TheBoysUnknown It's awesome that you do, I won't take that away from you, but Halo Reach was not a faithful adaptation of the lore and a blatant cash grab by Bungie. Much more than ODST was.
It is considered a huge retcon in the Halo fanbase, and their interpretation of events and even the Spartan 3s is not faithful to the lore that was written before.
lol pretty sure that Bungie can do whatever they like with the Reach story; it’s theirs.
@@yrazu05 Nobody cares about lore. The needs of one medium (books) do not match with the needs of another medium (a game).
@@citizen3000 Halo Reach was the last "Halo title" they were contractually obligated to make for Microsoft before they were able to operate by themselves. So I'm pretty sure they took some "liberties" with the franchise.
Halo Reach was the beginning of the end for the Halo franchise. From lore to gameplay mechanics being significantly changed ... Bungie made a real effort to kill it.
