I’m interested to hear if you parents out there agree or disagree with any of these! Let me know if I missed anything! 🤔

I absolutely love my diaper genie. It can get stinky but I empty it often. A weighted sleep sack for a baby, especially a newborn always seemed weird to me, and I completely agree with the wipe warmer. It’s nice to have but the one I have really doesn’t seem to be much warmer than a room temperature wipe.

Thanks for the awesome feedback! Some things work for some and not for others and it’s always great to hear from fellow parents out there!

Diaper genie will 100% be recycled to join forces with our litter genie. The bag system is so much better than the litter genie. Also, stainless steel is 100% different from plastic (which the ubbi is made of). Diaper genie has been great to have with the baby being in the room, as I have a sensitive nose. no issues so far and we’ve been taking the bags out every few days. The fact that the ubbi is the same price is criminal.

Also, the wipe warmer was a purchase added later. It’s been really helpful as my baby is sensitive to temp. I’m glad we waited.

Great info! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with diaper pails as long as you keep them clean, but have found we get by just fine now with a regular garbage can! Thanks for watching!

I agree that a baby wipe warmer wasn’t necessary for us either!

@@DadNamedMac it was! Especially about the diaper genie! I just got one and I still throw the diapers into the trash can right next to it 😭😅 I’ll return it now that I’ve seen this review 😂

We used sleep sacks and they were amazing. Baby used to like to wiggle out of his blankets no matter how tightly we put them around him and blanket then end up over his face which was terrifying so the sleep sack enabled us to have baby sleep warmly without risk of suffocation

Thanks for watching and glad to get your thoughts! We all have to evaluate options and determine what we can be comfortable with as parents!

I disagree with the Nanit. It actually helps put my mind at ease having it. I don’t have to obsess over watching my monitor. It’s on my phone so I can see my baby while I’m at work, I can hear my baby from my phone the whole time, and it connects to my watch so I get notified if my baby cries, moves, etc. so I can actually take my eyes off the monitor and do what I need to do. I can’t recommend the Nanit enough tbh. Let alone the scares we have had that Nanit actually saved us from since it monitors your baby’s breathing and notifies you if something is wrong. It’s not like the oxygen readers that gives you false readings, this doesn’t false read. It either detects movement or it doesn’t. I really can’t recommend the Nanit enough! I would recommend putting it on your registry! 🙌🏻
    Good luck everyone!

Thank you for the honest feedback! There are certainly some upsides and downsides to all baby monitors and every parent needs to decide what’s going to make them feel most comfortable!

I’m using an old desk instead of a changing table with a pad on it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Underneath I put some old shelves for clothes and blankets

That’s great, love it! I do always remind friends to keep very close eyes on their babies when putting them on elevated surfaces! Thanks for watching! 😊
