I'll get to this point because this IS NOT a short video...Tonocracy is AWESOME! i didn't dial in any tones for this one. Just opened each amp, found a matching cab and went with the out-of-the-box settings.
I truly do not understand how this is free!

Thanks! I’ve got quite a few more videos planned for Tonocracy. Every time I sit down to play with it I find more and more stuff I dig about it.

This has no business sounding this good while also being free!
Although my AC15 > Captor16 is my main recording rig, I've been trying to figure out what to use for additional sounds/layer.
Currently, when I'm lazy I just use Cubase's built-in amp sims, but there's something about them that sounds off. Been wondering if something that's in-the-box can sound as good as, say, the UAFX amp pedals, so I'll definitely be checking this out,

The fact that this is free is mind blowing to me. And I didn’t realize this at the time of making this video but all of the cab IRs are from ML Sound. Which is why they’re all so rad.
And thanks! I never know how to review a guitar because they’re so personal, but I am working on a video for it that I should have out in the next few weeks.

You missed out the most important feature of Tonocracy, which is its ability to load NAM profiles (also free). Honestly this is the thing that has most users excited, not the built-in amps.

So I actually do mention at the end that you can load in captures/profiles. I don’t think I specifically mentioned NAM because I wasn’t 100% sure about those. But this was more about the built in sounds. I’ve been testing NAM and have yet to find any sounds I really dig, and have come across a lot of inconsistencies even amongst the top rated captures. That said, I absolutely love the idea of NAM and haven’t given up on it. If you have any suggested profiles though I’d love to check them out!
