Oh, those Let’s Resin alcohol inks look 🤩
They laced up like crazy on the white base I've never seen just colors lace that way...
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle agreed - that was wild!
I use ink sinker to do all my ink swirl cups. I find the pinata leaves a skin on the white. The ink sinker separates a lot you need to shake it up a lot. I also put a couple of ball bearings in the big bottle one in the small bottle.
Yes I think this was definitely a separation not shaken enough issue I'll have to add some bbs to it since I clearly can't mix it well enough otherwise. I've never had a problem with the pinata.. and I've used a different let's Resin white with no issue.
I think sinker white is meant more for the petri effect in molds. But I could be wrong.
It is formulated for that yes definitely but it also works for this type of application aside from the one bottle I had which was very much defective I use all of my white inks interchangeably for tumblers
I like all the lacing but I know that's not you were going for. You had mentioned this white may work better in blooms. Do you ever make blooms? I have tried but not very good at it at all! I love the vibrancy of the colors 😊 💜💜💜
Which version of the term bloom? Because technically this was a bloom because white on color is blooming the ink... 🤷♀️
Oh and I love lacing actually I think it gives it all more depth and dimension the colors on the white base ended up lacing like crazy. I was surprised usually color alone doesn't lace like that for me.
Do u think the mix of the 2 whites made the white squiggles? The inks are very vibrant. It turned out pretty good. Thanks Rae 👏👏😊👍
Possibly whites create cells and lacing and it's expected and somewhat desired. I did a white one which is uploading now for later tonight so we'll see
Maybe like you said you didn't shake It up well enough the white that is. It looks REALLY transparent especially compared to the pinata Blanca Blanca much more opaque
Yeah it definitely wasn't right....
Great tutorial on new inks. Do the think the bottom stinker white should have been applied first to the tumbler? This was curious reaction to me. I have not used them
Usually the white goes after the color and "sinks" under and pushes the color to the top. I'm thinking maybe I simply didn't shake enough but I won't know for sure until I try the white in a mold .
Hello, question, I'm pretty new to Tumblers, and I'm using "Let's resin and for the life of me, it won't stick. It's fish eyes galore. I sanded, cleaned, painted, cleaned, and then apoxy.😢 I'm thinking at this point it's the resin?
