- Hi all,
All product links are further down 😊 ⬇️.
This is a video trying a technique I saw @CoConcreteResinIdeas create and wanted to try it but with stirring the resin as I do with my usual Petri art. I did mine wrong but very happy with the results! This is super easy with great results!

Really liked the first ones. Definitely want to try. The blue and green one made me think of the man in the moon eating a banana.
The Oval one is also pretty cool
I love your channel BTW, plus I am hearing pigeons or morning doves in the background it's calming to me
love them all , you’ve got so much patience
Thanks Barbara 😊
I watched this tutorial and immediately went to try it, and i got great results, (on 1st try 😅)i will definitely be doing more of these, Thank you for always giving great tutorials very much appreciated 👍🏼😊
Yay! Congratulations 😊😊
Thank you for recording & posting your experiments for us! 😊
My pleasure 😊
I see the bird too, that is my favourite. I agree, with your comments on second tray. But hey, it a learning experience. Thanks Dan x
You are so welcome! :)
Thanks ❤
Oh I love the first types.
Simply gorgeous!!!
Thank you! 😊
Love your work, your determination, your willingness to try new things and your wonderful laugh! Keep ‘em coming
Thank you so much! 😊
I am going to try all these very soon. Thank you so much Daniel Sir for sharing this video👍
That’s so pretty 🥰
I looooove the black background; blends into the colors making awesome pieces. Actually, seeing mistakes is good too. This is a way to learn.
Love,love,love!!!
Awesome!
Love your videos
That oval one with the bird makes my heart sing, Dan!! Thank you for experimenting and showing what works and what doesn't. You Rock!! 🤩
Thanks Michelle, very welcome 😊
I am really inspired by your work.
Thanks 😊
I know you said you should have put the white first, but I personally like these better than others I've seen. I'm going to try doing it the way you did with the color drops topped with the white and later swirled. I like them both with and without the background. So I will play with it both ways.
I definitely preffered the 1st attempt!
Me too 😊😊😊
Wow amazing 👏👏👏
Love the pink nd red ones with "blackground". The black borders make it look "Posterized" Very Cool
I think they are cool looking. 💕😊
Thanks as always Joalla 😊
Love this! Thanks for sharing!
Dark purple, blue or maybe some metallic shades could be great for backgrounds? Love the emphasis on colour when backing black too, would be nice to see others too if you fancy a change 😊
I love these!!! Beautiful!!!
Thanks Denise 😊
The colorful heart is a masterpiece.
Hace poco encontré el canal, es una maravilla, admiro tu trabajo y muchas gracias por compartir!
These remind me of the swirls that are in glass marbles.
I just want to thank you for all your content on here and on Tik Tok. I am always exited when you bring out something new and I enjoy your calm and friendly voice with a giggle here and there!
Thanks so much 🥰🥰
Love your videos. Love love this one
Thank you 😊
Definitely going to give this one a try... 👍
Yay 😊
I love those A LOT!
You are awesome! You are totally right… art doesn’t have to be perfect! That’s what makes it art! Sometime our mistakes are our best pieces! Great work yet again!! 😊
Thanks Katie 😊
I agree! Resin is one of my favorite things to do. Its a new thing for me at least! When I keep on seeing the marble tables covered in resin, I keep on thinking to myself. Can I make some to? So I tried it and it was AMAZING!!♥♥♥♥
The red and white remind me of cut strawberries. They all look so nice.
Thank you 😊
Thanks
Thanks so much for the Super Thanks Lisa 😊 🥰
Great work thank you for sharing
Thank you 😊
@@daniel..cooper you’re welcome 😉
The ones with blacks are so amazing like animated cartoon effect Really loving your creativity 😃👍
Thanks Shalina 😊😊😊😊
The first ones you took out would look great as rings, well maybe not the size of the heart but the round one and the technique with just the dots. I know some women who would love them. Glitter sneaking into molds where they don’t belong….don’t I know about that. i just found your channel and love it. I’ve worked with resin for over ten years now and still loving it!
I love the oval with the ‘bird’! Has an outlined effect which really makes it stand out. Just gorgeous 👏🏻
Thanks so much! 😊
WOW! Very Art Deco. I am in love with these 😍
Absolutely beautiful colours with the swirl technique ❤ very much enjoying your tutorials 😊
Thank you 😊
They are all gorgeous but the ones with the black background more, great Daniel! 😊😊
Thanks Gulma 😊
this guy is a master at work love it
Thanks bud 🥰😊
Another great experiment. (Sends me back to my youth with all the colour popping). Love them all 😊
Thanks Dawn 😊😊
Some look almost candy cane like. Very pretty.
Thanks Susan 😊
Another great tutorial! I love this effect, especially the ones you stirred and added the black background!!! Fantastic work as usual!
Thanks so much Leigh 😊😊😊
You have that technic down packed, love it
Thanks Sharon 😀
Thank you so much for doing this video. Your creations are so inspiring and they always come out amazing 🤩 even with the oops
Thank you 😊
That’s a very cool technique. As our daughter used to say when she was a little girl “You read up my mind.”😂 I was thinking about this technique a couple days ago and was going to try’n hunt down the video.😁 Now I can just put yours in my yt resin file, thanks Daniel! Great job, I really loved the bird one too!
Thank you 😊
Wow! All of these are so cool!
Thanks Debbie 😀
Once again, very pretty Daniel! TYFS!
Thanks, very welcome as always 😊
Oh wow...so beautiful! 😍
Thanks again Cathii 😊😊
Thanks!
You’ve been a great tutor. PS: Anxiety works out better with finding a creative outlet. I know all about it. 🫶🏻✌🏻
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks Isabella 😊 I agree 100% 🥰
@@daniel..cooper You’re very welcome
Those 1st ones are amazing I don’t like the other ones but I would like to see them again
Thanks Toni, will make some more for sure 😊😊
Wow! Well done. Great technique
Thanks Victoria 😀
Very cool, now my head is spinning with ideas and how to use this 🤪
Yay 😊
So so so beautiful 🥰
Thanks 😀
Have you tried making dragon flys with this technique. Love watching you create
Those turned out pretty cool! I like the first set that you did the best. Especially that oval one with the black background. It's pretty awesome looking!
Thanks Lisa 😊
I believe the "sinker" white is heavier, hence the name, and sinks the colour.
Yes but I'm not sure it's necessary 🤷
I'm new to resin art but of course wanna know (& be able to immediately recreate🤣) every special effect possible so really appreciate your videos & detailed steps you provide!😊
Very welcome 😊😊
Absolutely stunning results. Definitely gonna get and try this technique. Thanks again for another great tutorial 😀
Thanks 😊
Very nice and cool looking, definitely worth trying.
Thanks Ellis 😊
❤😊
Wow sei un maestro bellissimi 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you 😊
My son asked me if he could do a bloom and he chose 11 colours 😳 but the flower didn’t actually bloom but created the exact same finish that you’ve just shown and surprisingly, the colours blended beautifully.🤷🏻♂️😂
Accidents are the best.😁
Accidents can be great 😊😊
I really like the first ones you did by adding the color first I'm going to try these this weekend
Thanks Beth 😊
Been meaning to try the marshmallow effect, but kept trying your other experiments! 😁 Thank you for demo'ing this, Dan, especially the different ways it can be done. Very informative! 👍You're right...it *does* kind of look like the cloud technique! I do like the black backgrounds best...colors really pop, and they're so sharp looking, which I like (rather than being fuzzy). Love the bird in the oval (my favorite shape). I think I'll avoid using heat to speed things up, though. 😁
😂😂😂 yep, heat can be good but ideally not for petri. Thanks as always 😊
I like when you are not tidy❤
Daniel have you ever used only one shape like circles from small to large starting with light blue to dark blue setting the littler one inside the next size up before pouring the next shade darker each time? I Am curious to see if it looks like it gets super three d. You probably have to uv to each smaller one to the bottom of the next bigger mold so it wont move
I like the "accidental" effect that you did first. It's a really nice pop of color against the black background, unlike when you put the white in first. I think you're on to something really special here.
Thank you 😊
🤩 I wish I could get the collaboration kit here in Canada.
Oh, another viewer said they ordered it from Amazon US
I love the matching hearts and the oval from ur first batch! Not a fan of the second set. 😃
I loved your "uueeww" noise u made when looking at the last ones! 😜😀❤
Thanks Dawn 😀 yep, I shouldn't try to cheat 😂
Wow! I am fairly new to resin. I’ve been watching your videos and trying to get the courage to try your awesome ideas! These are beautiful! Thank you for all the wonderfully detailed videos!❤
You can do it! 🥰🥰🥰
@@daniel..cooper I gave it a try yesterday. I was going for petri effect. They turned out pretty but my inks didn’t really sink. I used let’s resin products. Any insight would be appreciated
I was going to add photos but don’t think I can.
Join my discord and share in there 😊😊
Hi Daniel, I am so new to resin, I am loving your tutorial and learning so much already (thank you), the ones you revealed at the end (the one`s you didn`t like) weirdly reminded me of brains hahaha . Yup I am kinda weird like that .
Haha, yes, they were pretty organic looking 😂
Another great video and amazing affect. Top man keep it up mate I love all of them will defo being giving these a try but nice to see I'm not the only one inpatient lol 👌🫶💯% on target 🎯👌some remind me of marbles as a kid 😉
Thanks Mark 😊
Is this normal resin or uv? Brilliant results
The black enhances the color,. Yes the bird is flying,,did you sit on the red ones
Thanks Pat 😊
How long do you wait after you stir to add the back background? I love these!
It can vary, sometimes straight away, sometimes I wait 20-30mins 😊😊
@@daniel..cooper thank you!
Hi! I'm going to try this as my first ever resin project. I don't have alcohol inks yet (Let's Resin is out of stock in the uk) so if I back them with a black liquid pigment/resin mix, do I need to wait for them to cure first or can it be done straight away like you've done with the ink? Thank you for your amazing tutorials!
I absolutely love following you and trying to master your techniques. I've learnt so much. Just wondering if you think this technique would work with mica powders as well? Thanks.
Yes, it should do, you may need to wait a little longer before adding to prevent sinking
🌈💚🌈💚🌈
Hi Daniel , i love your video's and i've made some of these . Can u tell me what size jump rings u use please
Sizes all depend on the size of the piece, I would recommend buying a mixed size set 😊
Parece que algo ou alguma coisa foi inserido. Ficaram suaves , algo macio rs gostei bastante . Muito Obrigada.
Obrigado 😊
Hi Mr Cooper. I purchased the let's resin transparent epoxy resin pigments where there are 15 in the box. I don't have alcohol inks so will this still work? Also for the one video where you used the opaque solid colors I purchased the let's resin epoxy 18 colors macaron resin dye I didn't notice that you were using alcohol inks. So could you please do a video using these items with the UV resin? Thank you
Wow they are beautiful! I have a question I used dye in the past and my piece got sticky! How do you prevent it from happening? So the back of your pieces are not sticky?
Hi Karla, thank you, I haven't experienced this, maybe you dropped the dye into the resin neat? With this, I mixed with resin so will not be sticky.
Hi Dan, I'm new to resin so don't know all the it's and out's I would be grateful if you or someone can explain to me what white sinker is please . And do I buy it premade or make it myself , many thanks
Have you done crosses?
Not yet Carol, I will try and find a mould :)
Those are all very pretty
Thank you Janet 😊
Did you add some resin to the sinker?
I think I mixed resin in all of the colours 😊
Do you think this same thing can be done with acrylic paint color drops?
Hi Jill, acrylics are water based and do not really mix great with resin, if the paint is dry, it's fine but will not fully cure if mixed into resin whilst wet sady.
Hello from Mumbai India. My question to you is, can this technique be done in molds which are not concave like coaster molds?? Or should it be done only in concave molds?? Would appreciate hearing from you. Thanx
Hi, it can be done 😊
Awesome! I love them, they look amazing! Did you say, these were regular dyes and not alcohol inks?
Yes, just the dyes, I used a few drops of sinker white but I don't think they were needed.
@@daniel..cooper awesome, thank you!! Love your videos!
🥰🥰🥰
I want to try this on coasters. Would I make bigger dots, or stick with the small ones?
The bigger the dot, it could sink 😔
@@daniel..cooper ok..thank you! Can’t wait to try it.
I just hope I don’t need that sinker white. I do not have that.
Do you know what sinker white is? Is it an alcohol ink. I have cast n craft. I wonder if that would work.
Do we have to wait for the resin to get a little hard n the black pigment u poured was after it was fully cured or
Not hard, just thicker, black must be added before the back has cured, preferably 30mins after stirring 😊
Thank u
Do the colors have to be opaque?
Not really but it helps with this effect 😊
At what point do you add the black do you wait a few hours?
I was wondering the same thing
I see you answered someone else asking this question you said 20-30 min
I have been working with resin for months and I cannot make it look anything like this. I’m wondering if it’s because I’m using nontoxic resin it’s the only kind I can use.
