I do something similar with fusing sheets that I purchase from Joann's by the yard. I do seal with spray rather than with vinyl, but that's personal preference of course. I will say, the heating time and temp is important because too much heat will melt the glue off of the pellon sheets (or fuse sheets, whatever you use) and render it useless. You did a wonderful job explaining your process and showing everything. Thanks for including your "issue" as well as everyone needs to see easy fixes for problems that may arise. Pizza does sound good right now... gotta run!

I really love the way you share your teaching process. Excellent video. I love this new method and tried it tonight for the first time. I happened to use a tapered tumbler to experiment with. Getting the fabric was easy but when it came to the vinyl I wanted to pull my hair out. My next one will be on a straight tumbler. LOL! I am curious_ what vinyl do you use by the way? great video Thank you, I do have one question. Why do you need tape all around the top and bottom. I thought that was needed when using sublimation ink. can I use an iron ?

With this method you do still sand the top rim to the stainless steel so the epoxy has something to grab onto to make a sealed environment underneath the epoxy correct?
Super cute tumbler & excellent idea using the Pellon paper! I really dislike Mod Podge & haven’t had luck with other adhesives for wrapping tumblers with paper. Have you tried this method with scrapbooking appear?
