I have a number of boning knives for processing deer and wild hogs. My Cold Steel 5" is my favorite, it holds its edge very well.

IMO Cold Steel is severely slept on and underrated, I think that has to do somewhat in part to their marketing (just saying). However, every chance I get when asked what a good go to knife is, I always recommend them.

This Paring Knife is Great! I get one too. At what angle is this paring knife sharpened?
It's really a great knife compared to others In this price range! The Mercer has a great handle buy the steel stinks and the Victorinox handle is garbage. Not sure about angle, I just touch up freehand on ceramic rods. Thanks for watching
I need some good kitchen knives. We have one of those cheap blocks that are filled with knives. I have to sharpen a lot.
I have high quality Kitchen Knives in M390, AEB-L, VG10, And 52100. I have these Cold Steel blades in the RV and house for everyday use, Especially for my family, Who abuse blades!!

The quality is on par with budget blades costing 2-3 times as much. I've had good success with them, Especially as primary motorhome usage! Thanks for watching

Got myself a Trailmaster San Mai a few months ago. This winter i am going to beat it up..
How do you like the Trailmaster so far? The one I bought has impeccable Craftsmanship, Haven't had a chance to use yet due to health issues. Want one of the 3V Recon Scout when released, But obviously the price is waaaay up!
@@knifevideochannel4657 I do think it its made really well. The San Mai version was on my list for the last 5 or 6 years. Not happy with the sheath but i have access to good Kydex ones, plan to use it with the one that it came with for a while though. Really good grinding, really sharp edge for the size. The TM in 3V would be great to, but is even more expensive, so i am just going to use this one. Will be interesting how the sharpening will go, never sharpened Cs San Mai.
The Recon Scout is quite appealing too, but you can´t have them all...
