Hell yea! It's just poetry with rythym, cadence and delivery on top of instruments! Some rap about dumb stuff but guys like this are authentic and can appeal to all generations if you given the chance

I had high hopes for this because I absolutely love the original track, ‘Bittersweet Symphony’, by The Verve - great band, reminds me of my late teenage years, they’re amazing live too! But Ren absolutely KILLED IT!!!
So far, I’ve loved everything I’ve listened to that he’s released, it’s so creative and he can make you feel so many different emotions and make it seem effortless!
He’s been making music for 10+ years now but has had some breaks on and off while dealing with his health struggles. He’s been through so much - yet still manages to create tracks of amazing depth and quality.
I’m so pleased you’re loving him as much as I do - I’m just sorry that I didn’t tell you about him sooner! 😳

@@SimplySavageReactions If you start having trouble with claims, get in touch with Cliff Beats, as he knows how to fight these things. I'm not sure who's claiming on Rens stuff, as he usually comments on reactions and seems to encourage people listening and reacting to his music ?!

If so, The Bittersweet Symphony claim might be because of the sample used - from memory, it was from a piece of music written in the 1960’s and was later sampled by The Rolling Stones, before being used again in the late 90’s by the Verve. The original composer or label or even distributor of the music might have an automatic audio flag in place.
For Hi Ren, I think some reactors had been having copyright issues and reached out to Ren. He said the issue was with the distributor of his music and he’d spoken to them and said not to issue a claim against any of the reaction channels. Ren said to get in touch if anyone was having issues so it’d be worth sending him a message - maybe on Insta?
The Big Push is his band....you should definitely check them out and also Ren and Sam Thompson...!

i guess you have to follow/like that kind of music to know of him, i had no clue as im into rock/metal. but his words were great. but the tune bought back bad memories, feels like we heard it for years, like bryan adams everything i do.

Check out the Verve at Glastonbury playing this track....the sample itself is a bit of an ear-worm..taken from an orchestral version of a Rolling Stones track,"The last time".The Verve added the lyrics.........BTW..Hi Ren...Phew..BTW..Really like what you're doing...Best from UK.

The verve were sued for publishing rights by the Stones. However the little known fact is that it was stolen from an early Staples Singers track.....for which the Staples received sweet F.A.
The stones didn't sue their management did. The part that was contested was in the backing. It has been settled with all profits going to charity. Keith Richard said the melody/riff was brilliant and he would be proud to say he wrote it but Richard Ashcroft did
This is the 2nd best "Bittersweet Symphony" parody. Fat Les - Vindaloo (you might recognise the tune from some Americans at football matches), that parodies the video. It was the England song for Euro 96 i think. I'm Irish and even i admit it's a very catchy song, lyrically not great though
