    In this video Tim demonstrates connecting the shoulders to the hips in order to make rolling better and more fluid. This is a great way to strengthen your body and improve your physical and mental health. #originalstrength

    Thank your for your cues! They are fantastic!! I have been rolling for years and am very much aware of the benefits where movement is concerned. But I never thought of bringing the shoulder towards the opposite hip (and vice versa). Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Blessings to you!

    Oh man this was SOOOOOO hard for me to do, but it was so nice to feel how much easier it got as I kept doing it. I HAVE to do this training.

    I want to get to the OS Clinical just to meet you Tim!! Dr Mike & I have been talking already, and I just enjoy your teaching style in a way that I think a weekend would be a lot of fun.

      That would be awesome! We’ve got one coming up in NC in October with Pivot Physical Therapy. I think there is also one in December at John’s Hopkins in Baltimore! Either way, would love to meet you!

    Another great vid.
    Have u thought about getting yourself a boom mic? The sound quility should go up and you would b able to move freely.
    Love your channel and wanna see it grow

      Ha! I’ve thought about a lot, this new mic is a huge step up for me. It is the 4th mic I’ve tried. To be truthful, it may be i just didn’t know how to use the other mics well. But this one, I’m learning and it’s progress. But I do see now how a boom mic would be beneficial. Thanks for the suggestion - I’ll keep it in my mind. Quickly learning rolling with wires and a box creates other issues. Thanks again!

    Thank you for this, I love your videos on rolling, really does feel good to roll. Do you have advice or could make any videos on improving posture in the upper back/neck area?

    • @OriginalStrengthSystem
      @OriginalStrengthSystem  6 років тому +1

      Hey, thank you! So rocking, on forearms, and windshield wiper rolls, along with head nods and keeping the tongue on the roof of the mouth are fantastic for restoring and Reseting posture!

      Thank you! It does sound so different and so much better. But yes, now I’m learning how to move with wires and a small box! But better is better!

    Love it! I was talking to my parents about getting them in "shape". Do you have any tips, in addition to the roll? Something simple that even "lazy" people could do?

    • @OriginalStrengthSystem
      @OriginalStrengthSystem  5 років тому +1

      Most all the videos on head control and rocking would be great - even some of the crawling videos. We do have books. Pressing Reset: OS Reloaded may be the best place to start for your parents.

    Thanks Tim this is has some great cues for a good side roll.
    What's your opinion on more 'traditional' martial arts / gymnasts / tumbling rolls like the forward roll, backwards roll, and shoulder roll? Are they worth practicing for things like learning how to mitigate damage if you fall over (especially from height)?

    • @OriginalStrengthSystem
      @OriginalStrengthSystem  4 роки тому +1

      Absolutely they are! They keep you fall proof and resilient! Great question. Roll on, my friend!

    • @robertwhite2449
      @robertwhite2449 4 роки тому

      @@OriginalStrengthSystem Cool. I need to relearn how to do them. They're not as easy as they look (especially a good backwards roll). Maybe one day you'll do a tutorial on them..?😉

    I actually "can't" roll with my upper body as I "need" my lower body to get me over. Do I just keep doing the best I can?
