    Excellent information!! I tell my patients the same thing. They need to add more movement to their lives and it really doesn't need to be a ridiculously fatiguing amount. Some people think if they can't walk around the block or get up easily from a chair then they might as well sit in front of the TV practically 24/7. I always tell them any movement is better than no movement. And once they start to feel stronger and more confident, they want to keep adding more and more movement. If they are consistent with a little movement everyday, progress is fantastic. Sadly, many older adults just don't have that kind of self-motivation though.

    For me, the biggest source of inspiration comes from the frame on the wall: ''Do what you can''. Sometimes when you have aches and pains or limitations, at one point you wil say to yourself: ''I wish I could do that''. But dwelling serves no purpose in life other than to make it miserable. Not being able to do something is understandable. But not wanting to do anything about it isn't.

    Found your commando crawl video trying to help my grandson with strength ability, agility, coordination especially contralateral...etc Hes a genius, Savant child academically, Autistic maybe? its so hard to get him to engage unless he is interested and coordination is NOT really his strong point, neither is wanting to try anything, until we found YOU. He has now, tried every type of crawl you do, were loving the videos and he is so engaged with them, hs listening, paying attention to you and especially loves the funny comments typed on the screen, like a babbling lunatic, it made him laugh, hes happy, smiling and engaging and attempting everything and thats massive for him and us so, Thank You.
    Also the videos will help an unfit 51 yr old gran and 31 yr old unfit mum get in shape, so a bonus all round 😂

    Hey Tim. Head nods is a magical move! I just choose some position, on all four, sitting, kneeling, whatever and do head nods. It’s absolutely unbelievable. I feel my muscles moving! When I’m not in a good position, head nods gets me to the right position. I feel my scapula moving, my back moving a feel strong core when I do those head nods. When I’m in a lunge position doing head nods I feel my hip flexor releasing and deep glute activation. Neck is releasing. I can’t believe. This move is a miracle. ❤

    Awesome! As a speech therapist & mother, crawling for infants is so essential for brain development! That lateral movement crossing midline helps the brain 🧠 by strengthening the neurons & synaptic connections. I started swimming 🏊‍♀️ & crawling to grow a healthier brain as I age. Thanks for all you do to inspire us to take better care of our sacred body!!!

    Yes, Tim, we are fearfully and wonderfully made! I get nauseous when I roll so I can't really do that significantly along with crawling and rocking. Is there a trick to this? Thanks btother!

    • @OriginalStrengthSystem
      @OriginalStrengthSystem  3 місяці тому +1

      Fearfully and wonderfully made, indeed! I think I answered you on another post, but you’re not doing anything wrong. Just be curious and see where you can roll and how you can roll without moving into dizziness. Your job is to see what you can get away with and play there for a while. But also always test your boundaries - that’s how you remove them.
