This is a hack on how to run mid 6s in 0-60 mph. hold stability control/traction button until it beeps and says all is off. Put in Sport mode. This will bring it to red line on every shift. Put one foot on gas, one foot on brake. Rev up to approximately 3000rpm, then lift foot off brake and floor gas. It will pull like crazy with NO turbo lag! Mid 6s. Stay safe and do this out in the middle of nowhere!
Just put one of these on my radar to replace my 2020 Ultimate. The review was fun & comprehensive as always. Thanks! Update: got my ‘24 N-Line in Ultimate Red Metallic 10 days ago. Absolutely FABULOUS…
really is a shame there isn't gonna be a kona N this generation, though I know it was very unpopular. The full N treatment in this new body and new interior would be so nice though!
The one big problem with the N is that it is front Accent wheel drive ONLY! That's a total deal breaker on an SUV in Canada! I looked at a 2023, and they are way smaller than the Accent on the inside aswell and have that small ugly screen glued up in the middle!
I bought the blue Kona N Line Ultimate. I absolutely love it. Every time I drive it, people are turning their heads. 2 hot women approached me at gas station (separate occasions) and said home much they loved it! It has decent power, too, if you know how to drive it!
I had a 2022 Kia K5 AWD with about the same power train and felt it was pretty capable. I ended up selling it as it had transmission issues but it was a decent vehicle, the fuel economy on it was great too
He drove over 75mph in the ramp. Isn't it a good handling car? Isn't it a good body-controlled car? He didn't make many handling/acceleration adjustments either. How the car can to that? He drove the ramp at 65 mph in Toyota Crown. But he said, Toyota crown is a fun to drive. What?
that rear roof spoiler is the first thing i would take care for... and remove it. i love hyundai's n line seats... alcantara and ventilation. also their current UI graphics are neat.... love minimal gloss black inside and a lot of real buttons.... very safe aproach.
Comparing one of these to a 2024 mazda CX-30 GT. I am presently like the features of the Kona than the Mazda. I like the visibility a lot more than the CX-30, I also dig how it looks compared to the Mazda it looks so modern and sporty! I am focused on just having a good and fun daily driver with good audio and safety features. Gonna have to keep testing between the two and come to a conclusion!
The Kona seems like a better car and more modern, i agree. Though to be honest i am not so sure about Hyundai reliability and that DCT transmission seems a little unreliable to me, especially for city start-stop traffic. I think the Mazda would be more reliable with their torque converter. Tough choice, if reliability wasn't an issue i would definitely get the Kona no question between the two. But it is a gamble.
We just picked this vehicle and the time out is pretty inconsistent. I went a good 5 minutes with out it giving me a warning. Then it started to after a couple of minutes
My kona advance comfort pack is ready to be picked up from showroom tomorrow full electric i absolutely love it super size extra space its about few inches smallr than the niro but best part i have button in the niro its all touch screen i hate it i need buttons to press and click lol
They made the lock beep door shorter from the key fob left the vehicle alert by making the hz lower ridiculously 0:43, do you know how ridiculous the beep sounded
There aren't enough Kona N sold and they have very little incentive to make it. They sell these cars in bulk so it makes sense to keep everything "N-line"
The advantage of that "cheap plastic" on the center console is that it's easy to clean. It's great. I'd happily take that over a rubberized surface. Also, if that's really an issue, I assume that you can buy some aftermarket removable rubberized mat of sorts. I agree with you regarding the shifter orientation. Great showcase of the interior buttons, by the way.
I really hope Hyundai makes a full Kona N with this new generation Kona. It would be so damn nice. One of the reasons why I didn't consider the previous gen Kona N was because I just couldn't gel with the exterior and interior
Why is Hyundai putting rear turn signals so low on their newer models? It’s bad enough that SUV’s hood are higher and we gotta deal with poor visibility rear indicators 🤦♂️
@@carlbrenda6518 I daily an Accord and was behind a Kia Carnival at a reasonable distance. I didn’t even see the Carnival rear turn signal until it start turning. We put the indicators higher for a good reason..
This is actually great value for money if you need the AWD for mild off road usage or if you live in a place with terrible roads. Otherwise, not so great.
in foreign markets Hyundai puts a screen there which displays your mirror view using a camera and they delete the door mirror shut its illegal in North America
Hyundai sells cars to the global market, especially in Europe, not just USA. Unlike USA with their low taxes cars and low taxes fuel, other markets do not use large displacement engines that much, 2.0L is considered a large displacement here. So Hyundai is incentivized to use smaller displacement in most of their cars. It is also the reason why american cars do not sell much here.
I feel like I just got Rick Rolled lol Why don't they give us the more powerful variant? Missed opportunity. Unless they're waiting to hear the cries from people whom will flock if it gets produced.
Yea it’s kind of a shame. Nline used to mean you got more power and better handling but looks like Hyundai is starting to go down the bmw route with their badging.
Sadly I don’t know if I’ll ever be comfortable buying a Hyundai or Kia after the whole security fiasco. I’m surprised they’re still standing after something like that.
Engine failure or transmission failure seem to be the biggest problems. These are covered under warranty for new models. Just stay away from used ones. This applies to KIA as well.
Build quality is better than some VW products and other mainstream manufacturers what are you on about? Have you actually been in any new Hyundai Kia products in the last 3-4 years? New owner experience is a 10 year warranty?
@@mharro88 Do you work at a Hyundai dealership? It is not true. Also VW is not a premium brand, i do not understand why some people consider VW premium, it is considered a mainstream brand.
