YESSSS PHILODENDRON CARE 👏🏼 a staple in houseplant care lets GO. I can definitely vouch for the soft leaves being a GREAT tell for when to water if you don’t have a moisture meter!
Thank you soucj for showing your collection. I've learned so much, as well as trying to figure out what all my plants are so I can care for them properly
Lovely collection Kat and that's really cool, thanks for sharing your plant care tips and have a fab weekend. I'm fave in your collection is the Micans 💚
i love this video, it was really helpful!! although now i need to add 5 more plants to my wishlist 🙈 side note, it’s winter now where i live and i often struggle keeping my variegated plants variegated/ my tropical plants happy during winter, maybe you could do a video on those?? or just any suggestions would be helpful (:
My philodendrons similar to your Imperial Red don't like to dry out. My Prince of Orange and McColley's Finale have deformed leaves if I water inconsistently or let them get too dry. They like to stay kinda moist. For this reason, I keep all of my philodendrons in ceramic pots so they don't dry out so fast. I almost lost my McColley's Finale due to inconsistent watering so I know the excitement of getting new growth on a struggling philodendron!
Have you ever had a philodendron pink princess? I got a cutting that I'm trying to propagate, but caring for this one is stressing me out! I SO badly want it to succeed and grow huge..
Hello ✨ You should check the video of @Kaylee Ellen about Florida Ghost and its variegation : ua-cam.com/video/TaRYS9pOVHo/v-deo.html She explains how to keep the variegations 😊(spoiler : nothing to do about the age of the leaves !)
PLEASE SEND HELP! My Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma have black spots on them. What's going on?! 😭I checked the roots and they look okay though so yay, no root rot. But I'm not sure what's going on with the leaves!
i actually had a very similar issue! i cut off all leaves with the black spots and continued to do that for a bit. i also treated with neem just in case. my plant doesn't have the spots anymore!
thank you so much! since i don't care for them, i don't think i can give super tailored advice. i don't think they stray too far off this guide though!

that’s so funny you keep yours moist because after the imperial red’s root rot extravaganza i am soooo conservative with watering 😂
