👍 for honesty. Very true anyone could forget to adjust the valve clearance. Especially with all the projects you do. I love how your doing mini bike builds. I got an old doodle bug mini bike with a predator 212. Ungoverned. It still needs 18lb valve springs. Prob in spring ill do it. You can take mini bikes down narrow paths that go karts can't go. Plus u can fit 4 mini bikes to 1 go kart on a trailer. Great video as always. God bless
Great vid Red love how you tell us what's what about your mistake where you forgot about setting your gaps your always settings good example for the younger kids by not being afraid to say when your wrong or didn't do something right really love your channel 10 out of 10 from me
I say tear the head down and smooth out the short side radius on the intske and exhaust it will wake up in the upper rpm's. I build heads for a living for GM😉
That mean cleaning up the ridged of the short turn and blending it into the port floor. Look at a bump in a port lime it's a speed bump. It's not what you want for air speed.
Awesome video 👍. I'm sticking with my original suggestion of the vintage army theme with flat olive green as the primary and flat black as the secondary or accent color. You could even put an ammo can for tools and gear while you're out wheeling. Maybe call like a military tribute.
Red Beard's Garage I not only think it would be cool but also unique. It's kinda felt like that was the direction you're going in your video. Either way it's cool and I'm waiting for the next video.
Good stuff once again RB. Hey I just recently bought a used two-seater kids go cart that I want to modify into a one seater adult go kart. The main thing I have to do is mount the steering wheel and shaft to the center from the left. That obviously means some cutting and welding will be involved. I have a fair idea of everything I'll need to make it work including different tie rods and what not, but I was wondering if you might have some helpful tips I could use to make sure this goes as smoothly as possible.
I got that same mini bike and I'm gonna do a check on the Vavles here pretty soon, it isn't running right at all, hell of a time idling and idles rough to, got a brand new carb on her, also I like the Channel!!
Great videos. So just to verify this bike has the upgrade kit with intake and exhaust, 62 tooth gear, 18lb spring upgrade, governer delete? Seat springs and a torque converter? How much is that roughly? Thanks
Idk if youd be able to help me but i have a manco scorpion and just bought a 420cc predator. The back of the gocart frame looks like it may be a bit small for it. Have you ever heard of anyone being able to put one on? Will an after market aorfilter and pipe take off a few inches?
Cool, its hard to get an actual review you can trust. I have looked at the 16hp and 18hp models and they are cheap price wise. Just wasn't sure of the build quality.
I have a Coleman BT200X and have already put on the GoPowerSports performance kit and am planning to put on a torque converter and 18lb valve springs. Do you know what the valve lash is for both intake and exhaust? Also I’m running with the governor still in it. Is that fine too?
I just bought one of these from tractor supply, it was "refurbished" but something is still not right, it smokes like crazy. they let me have it for $250 because of its issue...its useable but do you have any advice as to what I might need to do to fix the smoke problem? its burning oil for sure, blue smoke. hoping I dont need to replace the whole engine, but I actually look forward to pulling this apart and learning a little while fixing it. I am thinking piston ring leak? what do you think? I dont know how these are supposed to run , it seems jerky (chain is loose)but it goes pretty good off the line then flattens out and I give it more throttle and it gives another good lump before it hits the governor, basically a big flat spot in the acceleration if that makes any sense. any advice would be great. mostly care about the smoke right now...
Hey buddy I just bought a new coleman CT200U yesterday. What's the first couple things I should do for sure for quality and longevity and power? Thanks man. Also I'm 270lbs. Lol.
Once Go Power Sports cvt kit comes out definable get that for it. In the mean time I would highly recommend the Mikuni kit from go power sports as well as the header. It will really open up the engine. Remove the governor and put in 18lb valve springs.
Red Beard's Garage ok sweet. Just went riding along side my kids gokart it's so bumpy! Gonna have to add shocks to the seat for sure. I took the speed limiter screw off the throttle linkage. It goes pretty good for me being 270lbs! Thanks man
Hey Red do you think valves being out of adjustment could cause an engine to run rich? I have an older 15.5hp Briggs riding mower and I just did a complete carb rebuild because it was surging at full (governed) throttle but now it dies after it warms up and backfires super loud upon restarting the engine. Maybe a carb float problem?
Okay no worries Im replicating your build on my ct200ex my touch up paint looks a little off. if you ride at night I highly recommend switching out the headlight to a 100 watt hm6 LED bulb so much better. Love the videos your the man
is my colman just built different or what because I have a predator 212 on it with only stage 1 kit on it and torque converter but I haven't removed govenor and got it to go 54.5. it is a colmanmb 200 ex with the stock sprocket and if you twist the throttle hard enough while stopped it will come out from under you
IMO, you have it geared too high. Your rpm's struggle in all and including the speed test. top end is never achieved around the yard, or most off road situations. Burn that clutch baby!

+WallysWheels Remade thanks for watching man. That's why we like many back so much we can take them down Trails we normally couldn't go
Great vid Red love how you tell us what's what about your mistake where you forgot about setting your gaps your always settings good example for the younger kids by not being afraid to say when your wrong or didn't do something right really love your channel 10 out of 10 from me
Thanks man. I try to bring as much knowledge as I can to the channel and help people out
I think any old army green would look cool on it with the single star on the tank.
And ammo can side boxes!!!
Good call! That's exactly what I wanna do to mine
I think you should repaint the frame. not a big fan of "hearing-aid" brown
I say tear the head down and smooth out the short side radius on the intske and exhaust it will wake up in the upper rpm's. I build heads for a living for GM😉
Interesting.. explain a little please...
That mean cleaning up the ridged of the short turn and blending it into the port floor. Look at a bump in a port lime it's a speed bump. It's not what you want for air speed.
You should build a deseil offroad go kart
Awesome video 👍. I'm sticking with my original suggestion of the vintage army theme with flat olive green as the primary and flat black as the secondary or accent color. You could even put an ammo can for tools and gear while you're out wheeling. Maybe call like a military tribute.
+ken baker thinking about doing that

"that's what she said" I actually laughed out loud haha
The seat is a game changer.
I bought one. That plastic phony tool kit thing goes. Replaced by a real tear drop gas tank. OD green Thumbs up.
Digicamo on the Hydro dip would look cool
Well your doing a fantastic job keep up the good work
Best mod I've done so far was lose 65lbs ... 😂😂
I think I would've repainted the whole frame just to have the whole thing matching. Good video anyway.
I had a bomb threat at my school today your vid was cool too
Yeah that's one reason I picked the name. Thanks!
That was a good movie
We need the makuni carb tuning video soon
I got that same mini bike and I'm gonna do a check on the Vavles here pretty soon, it isn't running right at all, hell of a time idling and idles rough to, got a brand new carb on her, also I like the Channel!!
You need to paint the mini bike and army style camo instead of the Woodys style camo they have on the bike
Nice vid red beard love them all
What’s s good valve lash for 18 lb valve springs on the stock Coleman CT200U motor?
I need to know this too lol
Another good vid keep em coming
I have a friend that has a hydrodipping business in NC
This was a good video, thanks for such content. Peace
+No Way thanks for watching
I want to see what you can do with that Honda Odyssey
Shes long gone. It needed way too much work and I didn't want to sink the money into it
Great videos. So just to verify this bike has the upgrade kit with intake and exhaust, 62 tooth gear, 18lb spring upgrade, governer delete? Seat springs and a torque converter? How much is that roughly? Thanks
Yes sir and probably counting the bike $800 with out bike $200
Red Beard's Garage -nice. If I were to forego the torque converter does it make that big of a difference?
How are you changing valve springs with the heads on,without valve dropping down ? Do you run air into cylinder?
I run a piece of pull cord rope down through the spark plug hole and it will hold the valves up. You also can run air into it as well
I wish mine had some sweet seat shocks. You just got a subscribe.
Well thanks sir
Good Stuff.
My valves are adjusted properly and it still falls on it’s face. Any suggestions?
Grease those axles Mr Red Beard ☝️
Yeah I forget every time lol
Great work tho mate , love the vids 👏🏻

The aftermarket pipe and air filter as well as putting a different gas tank on the frame of the go kart will take a ton of room of the engine.
going to do the springer seat deal on the falcon, if you had it to do over again would you use different shocks, or do anything differently?
No I love these shocks. I wouldn't go with any other set
thanks!
Awesome, so now that its running right what do you think of that engine?
I like the engine a lot. I would rather run a predator just for the aftermarket support but the engine runs just as good.
Cool, its hard to get an actual review you can trust. I have looked at the 16hp and 18hp models and they are cheap price wise. Just wasn't sure of the build quality.
FireAndGasoline I have a duromax 7hp and it is basically a gx200 clone. All internals are the same.
Great video! Always good stuff!
what seat is that? looks way more comfy than stock since it's got the absorbers. what app is that your using for speed?
Great Video, correct valve adjustment makes a big difference.
What speedometer app are you using on your phone?
I use digihub
I have a Coleman BT200X and have already put on the GoPowerSports performance kit and am planning to put on a torque converter and 18lb valve springs. Do you know what the valve lash is for both intake and exhaust? Also I’m running with the governor still in it. Is that fine too?
😇🙏👍 Did i hear it wrong, or did I hear Go Power sports say they adjust valves at 0 lash??
You should Make a diesel go kart or minibike
+Zach Allen if I ever find a good deal on the motor I will
Check out "YANMAR". they make diesel generators.
Can you get billet rods and new cams for these motors? Are they identical to 196 clones?
Dude love your channel what color did u use for the frame as i need to touch up some stuff :) Thanx

add a stiffer spring to chain tightener which will eliminate clutch chatter . have fun! j.g.r. 1950
DWinnie67 o cool thanks man I haven't heard anyone say that yet and yea that noise sounds bad
@@theirishaxe9405 Ya still ridin it man? I'm a big guy too and I'm planning on picking up two this weekend for me and my boy to play on
I weigh like 375. Thing is fun as shit. I got one.

It starts up and idles perfectly fine no resistance or smoking, I don't know if that eliminates it being valve related
Wow he put in the office TV show funny moment that's what she said just wow ;)
Why didn't you paint the 1 inch square stock engine spacers or, the bottom of that new seat pan you made I'm guessing??
didn't think about it
Like the channel, like cars and cameras as well, but at least you’re not at your mommies house. Lol.
What color was the paint you matched the frame with?
Im not sure on the exact color name

Hey the valve pin in the middle of valve spring are those meant to be pulled out? The exhaust side pin on mine pulls straight out.
Question..somewhat set valves maybe most likely still off but when i start the bike it takes off lol is that because its off still or something else?
Gopowersports should make a 4 speed manual transmission for minibike and gokarts, like if you agree
Thats a huge amount of work for a company to not know how well they will sell and try to make it affordable
it would be cool if someone built a bolt on tranny for minibikes and go carts, even a 2 speed would be sweet!
Any advice for fixing the stock gas cap on ct200u? mine leaks like crazy, got a new cap and its just as bad.
I would put some gasket cork around where the lid seals, should help out
Thanks ill give that a shot
"gunna play foller the leeder and anuthr adventur" lol
👍👍👀
Where can I get one? Tractor supply wants $100 shipping.
You just have to find them in stock at one. Walmart does store pickup for free
Red Beard's Garage thanks.
Where did you get the seat shocks?
Go power sports
@@RedBeardsGarage can I get a link to the seat shocks I can't find.
You did both at 0.04?
Yeah
Can anyone tell me please the correct size rear chain on a Coleman ct200u.
hopw do u replace that
'
How can I fix my pull start on my Coleman CT 200 u
Was this a stock coleman motor?
What's the top speed with these upgrades?
do an american flag tĥemed build
Sam wood that would be really cool to see
Lit🔥
Keep it camouflaged
hey do you have a mini bike frame I could buy for 100$$$
No sir. I try to buy all I can find myself
You had it just about stripped down you should have completed painting the rest of the bike. Just saying !!!
IMO, you have it geared too high. Your rpm's struggle in all and including the speed test. top end is never achieved around the yard, or most off road situations. Burn that clutch baby!
