You killed the torque on the bike with taking the jack shaft out. Mines does 45mph off road on trails!!! Jetted carb, intake, exhaust 18lb valve springs an aluminum fly wheel
Would definitely suggest 18lb springs and an intake on it( air filter adapter, air filter, and .038 jet) Would definitely wake it up but be careful, as you found out on the last engine, high rpms will kill stock parts. They don't like rpms above 5000 or so. And a governor delete (also free mod) works a little better than just zip tying it. Nice mini bike.
Aluminum fly wheel VM 26 Mikuni carburetor jet it 36 pound valve springs and a cam a aluminum rod and take the governor out completely and a 48 sprocket take the front fender off because wind get under there and slow you down and you good 10 tooth clutch in the front 48 sprocket in the back
no they go over 50 mph with the jackshaft delete. you can hear that they didn't even get close to reving it all the way out to top speed. it needs a 60 tooth rear sprocket to not be stoopid laggy on the low end like this is.
Facts it’s about maybe 30 he has an original clutch on it. It’s basically stock besides the exhaust. I have an torque converter installed with a stage 3 carb and header and mine hits 60+ I also have tooken apart the governer and changed the gearing. There’s no way he’s going 50 on free mods. I’m sorry boss but nah
@@franklin7545 The torque converter doesn't add much top end. Straight chain adds much, much more than a torque converter. Source: I have a coleman with a predator 224 and a torque converter, and another with a 224 and straight chain. Torque converter tops out around 30, straight chain was still accelerating at 40. Thats with the governor. Edit: Might I add though that the torque converter will pop power wheelies like its nothing and gets to 30 mph in like 5 seconds, but the other one feels like a person it slowly pushing you up to speed lmao
Dope shit bro! I’m building one like that right now. It’s called the mudstar200 and it’s gettin ALL THAT UPGRADE SHIT! 💪🏻 putting a Hemi 212 with stage 2 block and stage 3 head. I know it sounds mismatched but that’s how it works
Yeah I last minute decided to not buy another engine and just put all that money into the 196 it comes with. Same set up same dealers for the parts just using non Hemi 196/212 parts. My kid has mega Moto 105cc that I’ll put this beef cake 196 into later when she gets good on it and then I’ll build something else for my bike
do not straight chain these bikes yes they will go 40 to 50 doing this but takes two to three miles to get there and has zero bottom end you can get 60 to 70 out of these but not this way
No way that’s 50 mph nice try though. Maybe 30 and you pretty much got to walk it to get a running start. Straight chain sucks. Try the torque converter and then talk. ✌🏼
lol torque converter is worse, go through belts and your wallet and your not gonna get past 50. a stock coleman with just a gov delete does 35 aint no way this is "maybe 30".
Mine goes 50+ I believe him you can easily make these go faster 🦾 I just got chased by a pitbull last night and he didn’t even come close😅 well at first but after a good 20 yards he was done for
I too once was young and obsessed with going faster. 😊
Hey I’d love to see one electric

Agreed. Jack shafts are not bad. They actually allow for better gearing options.
What carb and flywheel did you buy? I’m looking for some
@@GrantFrandsenget a vm 22 or pz carb and a cheap aluminum 10k rpm flywheel works great and I would get a billet rod to
@@GrantFrandsenI have a nibbi pe22 on mine with the nibbi air filter and it got mine from 19mph to 36 I highly recommend it

If you only had a time machine to 1982, then I'd be the happiest player on the planet.

Yeah I definitely want to upgrade some parts to avoid that 😂

Helmet helmet helmet. This is no different than a motorcycle and you can end up dead in a second
What size is that clutch like where do i get it new

Thank you bro I recommend I was at 26 mph now I hit 50mph 🎉
That back tire is getting rough.
I have the same bike. These things are very fun to work on!!
Dang that's quick looks like a lot of fun o need to get one of these.
It’s not running 50 and if it is it is taking waaaay to long to get there 😂

I did heavy mods on mine for about 61 mph. I really advise building a springer seat for off road.
It not going 50 mph 😂😂😂 mine does 65 with gearing change header, 26 lb spring gov delete, jetted carb go 17/72 gearing and it fast off the line
Option 500ccm kit. All set
considering they aren’t meant for adults and have a weight limit of 200 pounds, 45/50 mph isn’t bad for a little mini bike
Can you show a video of you removing the jack shaft
Love it bud
Just flip the clutch and add longer chain?
Your master link is on backwards, curved part goes towards direction of chain…
55 on a wildly unstable machine without a helmet is just plain dumb. it really is just as fun with a helmet. more maybe.
Great for street only no hills or trails. And takes long time to get to speed .you'll go threw clutches quickly. If that's what you want.cool
Where to get the longer chain?
Tractor supply

Run down big hill to get close to 35 mph. 😅
Is it normal for the zip tie to make the throttle stiff
yes
do not straight chain these bikes yes they will go 40 to 50 doing this but takes two to three miles to get there and has zero bottom end you can get 60 to 70 out of these but not this way

These easily hit 50 mph stock. Just straight chain.
Ik it’s actually nuts
60 if you have a long enough straight to get it there. 60t rear sprocket still does 60mph but a lot faster

I've clocked my grandson at 47, 😮 and he had plenty more speed to go.
Just install a smaller sproket on the back wheel
would I need to change anything else if I did that or just the rear sproket?
@@Willy38134 you would have to replace the rear sprocket and knock a few links out of the chain.

it will fly
Please wear helmets.
Get a 212 wont regret it
wtf is the zip tie trick
bypasses the govenor and raises the rpm limit which equals a higher top speed
Put a GX390 on that sucker
lmao no torque 0-50 in 100 minutes
Very slow
Don't do this to your Mini bikes people! There's way better ways to improve top speed and take off!
Like what
I'd rather keep stock u couldn't even run from the cops with that take to long to get up to speed even gives fat cops hope to catch someone
No power 😂 destroyed buy clutch
