I absolutely love how meticulous you are! I've been binge watching your beetlejuice dollhouse videos, and I'm in awe. The amount of time that you take to plan, draft and execute your techniques... it's very inspiring!
The turnstile is amazing, and The No Exit sign is perfect! I'm always fascinated how you figure out the construction of these pieces! Can't wait to see what you do next! I like the two [piece woman!
The turnstile looks great! I don't know how you come up with the ideas to make everything work together. I'm looking forward to seeing the lady who is sawed in half. It cracks me up when Beetlejuice places his hand on her leg and she slaps him. I've been watching your previous videos. You have gotten much more comfortable talking about your project. You have also gotten better at building items for what you are working on. The architecture knowledge you have shows in the buildings. I'm enjoying watching the Beetlejuice set come together. It's been a while since I've seen the movie but as you add items, it comes back.
That makes me so happy to hear!! I am enjoying bring the movie to life in miniature and that means I am doing it right, if it's bringing about memories you have! And yes I agree that I have to make the magicians assistant for sure!
The waiting room is looking fabulous! I have three favourites, Harry the Hunter, the shrunken head guy, the magician's assistant and the Witch doctor. They've always been the ones that stuck out the most to me.
Those turnstiles are so cool and that green light instantly screams “Beetlejuice”! Great work and so exciting! My favorite character in the waiting room might be the Smoking man (“Want a cigarette? Trying to cut down myself.” LOL) or the guy who choked to death on the chicken bones.
Wow.. thank you so much for this surprise video... Your creativity is off the charts... I thought the Adams family home was my number one but I feel this is rapidly becoming my absolute favorite ... especially the fireplace and now the waiting room. Every room is such a delight.. just wow... I can hardly wait for the finished project but I understand that no stress is the way to go, so I'll calm my anticipation and enjoy the ride.. P.S. love your sense of humor and the enjoyment it adds to your videos... have fun xxx
Thank you Suzan!! This project is definitely taking on a life of it's own. The movie set, lighting, whimsy and music definitely makes every room fascination to try to capture in miniature!😄
I love the way the underworld is coming along. The floors are my favorite part. The turnstile arms look like they could be made out of bones which makes them even creepier. Suggestion, The corrugation in cardboard would make good wavy bits for the doorway. Remove the top layer of cardboard to reveal this part.
OMGOMGOMG! I was hoping as soon as I saw this project that there would be a Miss Argentina figurine created and the Waiting Room being included is only insuring that my hopes are coming true! She’s my favorite secondary character in the film and never gets enough love!💚🧡
Every section of this project has been such an iconic image. Even with the scene being in its early stages, there's still so much to appreciate. Can't wait to see the guy with the shrunken head.
I know, "Necessity is the mother of invention," but your ability to look at something (movie, TV scene etc.) and be able to figure out what to use to recreate it fascinates me. Another problem beautifully solved.
Yes the stress levels are much lower now and I had a great time working on this project. I just worked when I had time and it was amazing not feeling the pressure the whole time! Thank you Lawanda😊 I am glad you are having a nice lazy morning!
All of them is always the correct answer but the legs for me lol This was my favorite when I was younger. I wore this move out. I didn’t even truly understand it all when I first started watching it because I loved beetlejuice and the “dance” at the table so much. My mom must have got tired of watching it but always would when I wanted bc I’d lmao at beetlejuice. It’s looking great! I’m astonished at the things you and your viewers make!
I didn't fully understand it as a child either. And still as I am researching I am finding more and more information that is hidden in the characters and the lines that they say. So interesting! Thank you so much!!
I really love how thru the week now there is different videos from you. It makes the week so much fun!! I love the waiting room and how it is coming together
I was a bit intimidated by the angles at first too but I just went piece by piece and made adjustments as needed. I am so glad you liked the final results!
PROUD TO BE A PATREON Please consider signing up : Ara does loads behind the scenes for us and it's SO worth that small amount of cash each month (not even the price of a coffee!)
I love it! Also the tip with painting the tape background color and then the desired color to make it really crisp is such a good tip that I didn’t know about, so thanks! :)
I'm sorry but I just have to say... this whole series has been absolute torture to watch. Why you may ask? Well because I know when it is over, This house and its contents will be the one thing on this planet that I will lament never getting to own. Even more than that spectacular Addams house. I mean this is the kind of thing I would not just find a place in my house for, I would BUILD my house around it! Trust me this speaks just as much to your talents and imagination as it does for my obsession with Beetlejuice. As long as it's waiting for me in the underworld when I die, that'll be something to live for right?
Thank you for that💖 You had me worried at first! I hope to at least be able to display and share with as many as I can through museums or showings in the future! Its been so fun to hear that people have been able to visit the Addams family house!
Wow! This looks great. I had forgotten about the look of the turnstyle. Thank you for the idea with the floor. You are getting a lot done. Doing great.
Oh yes, the waiting room from hell, finally. ^^ I'm looking forward to seeing them all. The bad magician's assistant, the guy who smoked in bed, and of course, pinhead. ^^ As Juno would say "Not bad, not bad." ^^ Thumbs up.
Lol! Thank you Jens! I want to make as many as I can... the only one that kind of makes my stomach turn is the guy with food stuck in how throat... I don't know why but that one gets to me!😶
Hey Ara, love it, the spiral rope around the sticks was brilliant. I don't know how hard it might be to repaint that void area, but, if you really want it to look like a void, I would recommend investing in a bottle of Black 3.0 Paint, it's the blackest paint you can buy, and it would look great in that little corner. It would make it look really void like.
The tiny head guy has always been my favorite but I'd like to see you make the voodoo tribal guy. Hes just so unique and will use different materials from what you are used to.
I get so excited everytime you put out new videos! They are just so cozy and I love the outcome of all the little/big steps there is in all of your projects
Absolutely loving this! The turnstile came out amazing. And I'm glad you liked (showed) the box I made for the tiny little house. I know it was overkill, but I'm ridiculous lol Keep the videos coming. always looking forward to them
Thank you so so so much for sending it in! Both the box and the house are works of art in themselves!💖😊 I sent you an email asking if you wanted me to add your art link in the description... just let me know and I will ;)
Awesome! You could use cardboard, (take the top layer of the cardboard off,)on the walls that have the ripples. That would look cool. I would wait forever for your videos. I want a healthy, happy Ara ALWAYS!
Thank you Robin!! I am feeling very happy with this new, more fluid schedule😊 I will be playing around with the corrugated walls soon and will keep that in mind!
Oh Ayra thank you so much for this video. I had a hard day. I’m sitting in my bed trying to keep it together. Trying to keep from breaking down. My mind cannot focus and I’m scrolling through UA-cam and your video jumped out and I felt such a relief. I know you don’t make your videos for this reason but you have such a comforting nature and I guess I can describe your videos as a warm hug. Anyway thank you
Sending you virtual hugs today Adrian💖 I am so sorry to hear that yesterday was so hard. I hope today is treating you much better! Please take care of yourself and get some good rest!💖💖
You might like to experiment with some of that Vanta Black or similar super black paint for areas of your projects that you want to disappear into darkness. If you haven't already. (I have some by Stuart Semple) It's not physics-defying paint, like I imagined, but it is flatter than regular stuff. Enjoying this video, as always!
I love how it’s turning out and how you use your wall bandages to get such perfect edges. Great trick that you shared again. The turnstile looks great and I can definitely see the sign now. Thanks for the great update.🥰
I would use onion skin paper or parchment stiffened with Elmer’s glue and folded fan style for the door and Miss Argentina’s office. All of it looks awesome as usual!
Love this so much. Like all your videos, filled with ideas and inspiration. I love the "girl, interrupted", and the shrunken head dude, and can't wait to see how you do them!
Wow to everything you got done! The turnstile is so cool but I think the "No Exit" sign is the best. Isn't it the most satisfying feeling to turn on lights once you're done with a portion? The green is so eerie it just adds that extra pop to everything. The mini houses are so neat and the box especially. Since I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Miss Argentina is the one I'm looking forward to the most. Besides, I want to see how you handle her flaming red hair since you can't age it...lol!
Yes the lights coming on were so exciting!! It's like a ta-da feeling lol!! I am really nervous about getting her hair right... I am going to have to go yarn shopping to get just the right color😄
I finally got to watch this, I have been waiting all day since I seen it listed❤❤ Wow Ara.. you really got alot done! Everything looks amazing! I can't wait for Miss Argentina..."If I knew then, what I know now..I wouldn't have had my little accident!!!"❤❤❤
I love all the details and watching the process, Ara! You explain things so well. Quick thought: the waviness on the doors/windows looks like blinds, maybe? Could be replicated with a tea-stained paper, bent accordion-style. Looking forward to more. Get your rest😊
Totally just learned that tape trick, painting the base color first to "prevent" bleeding, earlier this week watching a Lone Fox vid! I can't believe I never knew about it before!
This was amazing as always.. you never disappoint..I can't wait to see how you make the sawed in half lady on the couch.. and the witch doctor that shrinks heads and the shrunken head guy. I just want to see them all. Plus are you gonna make a slit in the wall and make the flat guy with the tire tracks on him? I think that would be cool in the waiting room also..
New sub here in Florida. I watched one recommended video and I was hooked. Without writing a book and over fan girling, I just want to say thank you. I am an artist of many trades. However I was feeling uninspired for a while now. But after watching a video of yours for the first time, I found a new passion. I made my first miniature, a bookshelf. i've never seen bettlejuice but the receptionist lady and the-lady-cut-in-half are both so mesmerising
I love the shrunken head in the waiting room. He was both funny and cute lol
I love when artist upload during the week. It's a nice way to break up the week. Love your videos
It may be happening more and more in the future!😊 Thank you Benni!
@@BentleyHouseMinis are you going to make the flattened man?
The waiting room is looking fabulous! I have three favourites, Harry the Hunter, the shrunken head guy, the magician's assistant and the Witch doctor. They've always been the ones that stuck out the most to me.
Oh yes! I hope to make them all! The shrunken head guy always looks so concerned to me lol!
@@BentleyHouseMinis That would be amazing! Haha yes he does; can't really blame him 😂
Awesome 😎 as usual the smoker man is the one I want to see in the waiting room. I love these removable walls !!!!
Thank you! I imagine he will be rather easy to create... just a little scrunched tissue paper with a head... poor guy really wasted away!
Thank you Angela!! The chicken bone guy is the only one that actually churns my stomach a little bit!😳 I do want to make the cigarette guy for sure!

I'm looking forward to seeing how you make the shrunken head man.
He will be a fun challenge!
I love it! Can't wait to see the headhunter that shrunk Beetlejuice's head!
I'm glad you are including the waiting room! My favorite characters are the headshrinker and the magician's assistant.
I love the way the underworld is coming along. The floors are my favorite part. The turnstile arms look like they could be made out of bones which makes them even creepier.
Suggestion, The corrugation in cardboard would make good wavy bits for the doorway. Remove the top layer of cardboard to reveal this part.
I second this! I instantly thought of the corrugated cardboard too
Ooooooo that second house with its own custom box!!!😍🤤 you should do a tiny house parade with a tiny matchbox car lol
