Yes, the scene was really funny back then and as soon as I hear "Come Mister tally man, tally me banana ..." I keep thinking about this scene. ^^ Simply wonderful.
This was so much fun! I love the way you did the shrimp hands and the table. The dining room is coming to life more and more. I'm sure Beetlejuice is going to sneak in for a nibble as soon as nobody is looking. LOL
Amazing! I'm blown away by your talent! I've made bowls like that before and had really good results with pushing a marble into the paper spiral to make the bowl shape. It was especially helpful making them uniform.
AHHH I love the ending... All of that amazing talent and attention to teeny tiny details... I just love it. An omgosh the shrimp bowls at the end... okay... now I want to make those bowls. Thanks for sharing
Depending on how the model attic town is to be viewed, a few of the slightly under-sized houses could be positioned towards the background. This will create a forced perspective and make the model of a model seem larger than it is. The same goes for cars, people, and other scenic items. As for the over-sized houses, they can be used in some other way.
That's such an interesting idea! I imagined it being viewed from the side but I will have to wait to make a final call once the attic is built! Great idea to keep in mind!
@@BentleyHouseMinis In the model railroad world, forced perspective has been used to make layouts seem larger. For example, a modeler might use HO scale (1:87) trains and scenic items in the foreground and N scale (1:160) trains and items in the background, or O scale (1:48) in the foreground and HO scale in the background.
Even though I was getting anxious at how small and fiddly the shrimp hands were they turned out amazingly and look really creepy. Perfect for the Beetlejuice house.
I love it! I'll follow your lead with simplifying a detail and moving on. I have a tendency to get bogged down in a detail too. The bowls turned out great and I love how you solved the shrimp hands puzzle. Very clever
There is definitely something to skipping over details that are causing problems. In the moment they seem like huge hurdles but afterwards sometimes I even forget that I skipped them because the overall project still looks good. So glad you liked how it came out!
Nice! I love how the table came out and I really liked the technique you used to make the bowls. Of course the shrimp hands just takes it to the next level :)
I just came across ur channel this morning and I'm OBSESSED!!!!! That's the prettiest purple 💅🏽 nail polish I've seen in awhile but I always add a coat of glitter to make them POP but girl u also have the prettiest & petite hands! I swear u could b a hand model!!!!
Amazing work on the Shrimps. Wow you did get an awesome selection of goodies in the mail. It is cool to see the variety styles in the houses. Thank you everyone who sent these cool things for all of us to see!
I wonder if you just use really small hoop earrings as the yellow rings for the bowl, if that would save you some headache. You could just spray paint over them or something?
I love how the table turned out! Great job! Very clever technique for the bowls! Awesome job with the hands! Keep up the great work! As always ... Have a better day!
This is so cool! I love this build so much, the creativity of the film in mini form is just so interesting to me. You did a great job bringing it to life, like always.
I am really starting to appreciate the design in the film more and more as I try to recreate it! Especially in this scene with the deep blue walls, stark grey granite and bright orange shrimp hands. It all just comes together in a really interesting way!
😄 I enjoy adding this bits as well. Its typically me just talking to myself while I am figuring out if I have everything I need filmed for the video lol!
This is looking amazing so far ! , as an idea for the rings maybe you could create some little cylinders with balls on the end and glue them to the already yellow ring you've made on the bowl ? That way you wouldn't have to pretty much start it from scratch 😊.
Perfect as always. Love all your ideas. Even the ones that fail. It's great to know what it takes to get to a perfect end. Thanks for all you do. Happy Halloween to all.
May I suggest putting a glossy modpodge layer on the bowls? I think it looked like they’re shiny glazed bowls in the movie but it seems the blue paint on your bowls is more matte!
U are so talented❤. I love watching your videos. I took your advise and started my first mini house. I used a kit and now I'm confident enough, that I moved into doing a mini bake shop from scratch. Not done yet, took hiatus but I have u to thank. 🤗

The table looks just like in the movie 🤩 wow and the shrimp fingers are indeed amazing 😍 great idea to use the glass roller maybe, to save yourself the struggle you could have coverd it with that putty so it could go into the oven with the Shrimps sculpted ontop of the putty and then you could have cut it from the Roller to get the Shrimps savely off of it. But it still went well enough the way you did it 🤗
All the mini food looks Awesome, I am so adding these for my miniself doll's dolls house kitchen if she's expecting guest. See you on your next video & have a Happy Halloween. :)
@@BentleyHouseMinis That's a great Idea, all you need is Mr superclear, yarnwefts or hair wefts, fabric for the clothes, MH or EAH for your miniself, acrylic paint & pencil, nail polish remover with acetone.
Perfect for Halloween! The table is just right...and so is your phone, lol. The way you made the hands is a great technique. I can see the bowl technique being used to make urns for mini plants with the stone finish like you used for the table. The liquid polymer might need a drop or two of polymer liquid conditioner, if you have any around. Although, if you have little chunks in it like you mentioned it might be that it's starting to separate beyond recovery. If it was in too warm a place, it might have started to cure in the bottle. If it's old, sometimes it settles so much it just loses the polymers and can't be reconditioned. All the Halloween treats you collected...and that's because you're such a good girl! I started to pick out favorites but it soon became impossible. Houses are so charming. I think what Thomas Levy suggested would be great and also your shelving idea. I'm sure Adam collects mini houses whether they fit into the town or not and that many more will come your way. The folks who made the Beetlejuice doll, box, earrings all of the "extras"...wow! You folks are an awesome inspiration! Can't wait for the next one.
Thank you for the tips on the liquid polymer. It is SUPER old so that definitely could have been part of the problem. I think it even when through a move with me so I can't guarantee its been in the A/C its whole life. Probably time to invest in some new! I really like Thomas' idea as well and I can't wait to get to the attic!
You have influenced me...yes, ME, the least creative person on the FOTE (face of the earth). No- not minis but I pulled out my mom's crochet stuff & here I go. It's great to watch your videos while creating snuggly scarves, throws & blankets. SOMEDAY more intricate stuff...but for now, its a scarf, throw, blanket kind of homage to Bentley HM & her inspiring work!!
That's so amazing!! I love creativity in any form! And honestly I see crochet as some kind of magical ability. I have tried it and I don't contain that kind of talent lol! Happy creating!
Would be so cool if you start a new project and create a mini wilywonka factory.
OMG YEEESSSSS
That would be a fun one!
Yes, yes, a thousand time YES!
Oh, no! That would be right up my alley! I'm in trouble again...lol!
Yes but the chocolate would go bad. Lol!
Love your nails. Nice purple for halloween.
Thank you Sharon! 🤗
Also love the idea of a hidden wall full of houses
I think it would be really cool looking! Glad you like the idea!

I hope you have fun making them! They are a nice one to do while watching a movie because there is a lot of paper wrapping time lol!
I had to actually watch (buy/rent) the movie on Amazon as I hadn't seen it in it's entirety. Makes you awesome work make sense to me now.
I imagine it does seem a little strange without the reference of the movie lol!

19:20 kinda reminds me of a plunger, but I do like how you made your paper bowls. I was surprised you didn't 3-D print them.
I might 3D print them down the line if I end up wanting more accurate bowls :) I bet they would make good plungers lol!
