@@Schneids15 got a high altitude question. My KQ (1999) seems to starve for fuel after its warm and above 9000 feet. Worsens and dies with wide open throttle. Wont immediately restart. Let it rest for 3-5 mins and it will start back up fine. No problems when it’s is cold, only after about 10 mins of running. I’’m not sure if it’s the idle screw adjustment, or mid range jetting? Any thoughts? I did clean the carb like your instructional video. Also has a new primary fuel pump. Thx much for all the videos.
I had to take mine to the Suzuki shop in Lafayette, la. I thought it was a dirty carb, but the problem was the wiring to the spark plug and electrical box was very corroded. The mechanic checked everything on the whole bike and it runs great now. Well worth the $200! chuck in bunkie.
Hey Schneids, I’ve watch a lot of your videos and i love them! I have a big important question that has so far, not been answered. Please help! 95 Quadrunner 250 4x4 Engine oil Keeps getting flooded with gas! I drain it and it starts/runs great for about 30-45 minutes then runs rough so I look and the oil window is again full, so I drain it and its again got gas in the oil. This thing starts immediately and runs perfectly until 30-45 minutes after changing out with fresh oil, when fuel has yet again SOMEHOW got into the crankcase yet again! I have no idea where the gas is getting in there or how to remedy this. What to do? Please help! Thank you!
Love the video's can or have you done one on ignition system I loose total power occasionally and can't seem to find the reason must be a loose wire somewhere 😫
having a problem finding neutral at times. No matter how much much push or click down on the shifter it seems to not find neutral at times thus not being able to start it. Is there an adjustment of some sort. Great videos just purchased a blue 1995. Hope to hear back from you.
3 years late, but classic King Quad 300 issue. For anyone looking to buy one I'd recommend looking into neutral lockout bypass before getting stuck in the middle of nowhere!
Great video very helpful could you do one showing if it's possible to run start them also in case pull start cord snaps, also a video on what year bike's the parts are interchangeable on I want to know if I can use the axles and CV out of a 97 on my 2004?
Thank you for your clear explanations of potential problems!! Great!! My recently purchased 7 King Quad has difficulties to go around corners and want to go straight ahead when in 2WD position. Also, after I tried the diff lock, I could not go out that setting back to 2WD or 4WD, while running. Then suddenly, It stopped running and when still trying to go out of diff lock (using the handle), suddenly it lost power (no neutral or reverse light) and could not start. I still tried, while no power, also on the other side to change to go to another setting hIgh/low/super low and while doing so, suddenly, the light came on again, and I was with the handle able to go out of the diff lock situation, after which I could start again. Could these 2 problems all have to do with the diff lock? Could this be solved by adjusting the cable length (with the nuts) ? And is this perhaps a topic for you worth a new theme?
