@@achilles1147 I mentioned Asylum and City because they are much older and one generation behind the Arkham Knight. Of course Arkham Knight still looks amazing after 9 years but I think the art style in the earlier games are still superior.
Yeah Arkham City is to date the best superhero game ever made. Perfect mix of story, gameplay, meaningful side content and representation of the universe. Even Arkham Knight didn’t have as perfect of a balance with its terrible boss battles and gameplay overfocused on the Batmobile - leading to problematic pacing. Spider-Man 1 probably came the closest imo, as it had a great balance of all of the above. Great meaty story which takes risks while remaining authentic to the universe, great gameplay, traversal, the city, and awesome side content. Spider-Man 2 on the other hand has absolutely garbage side content. If it took the same approach to side content as Arkham City it would probably be superior. But for now, Arkham City is still the GOAT.
I loved how this game captured every feeling batman has extruded over the decades. It has that old abandoned circus vibe the tim burton movies had, really gave off this dangerous night time feeling oooo boy im playing this game agai.
I’m trying to play through all the Arkham games first I did origins which is still my fav then I did Arkham city which is just ok now I’m doing asylum and I’m enjoying but I can’t wait for this one ppl say it’s the best
2:19 why can't I pull enemies from guard rails with a batclaw or push them off using a remote controlled batarang either? Is it bad luck or do some rooftops not allow you to do that because it's in a high place and it could kill them? Because people doing predator challenges always do them in order to take enemies out but I somehow can't

Aged like a fine wine. The art style in this game is immortal. Asylum and City are still perfectly playable and enjoyable after all these years.

The environment, the graphics, the music, even the UI gives off a classic DC vibe that will never be the same.

its a good game, but the downside for me is it doesnt have many buildings to roam around unlike arkham knight
