You can even spot the fair that batgirl and robin take down in the dlc matter of a family the one that was set before the events of asylum. It’s cool to get a glimpse though I don’t think u can go over to it
I think at some point during development both arkham city and arkham asylum were part of the base game but they later decided to remove that part from the game.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were some cancelled DLC or just cut content that was to have Bman back in AC or the Asylum. That would explain the 360° texturing
i don't know why, but arkhama asylum brings me nostalgia for some reason and when i hear it i immediately think of batman's rouge gallery in their own specific decorated cell in the asylum.
he said its weird how they put buildings and basically like an actual map even tho players wouldnt be able to see it its cause we been playing the same game this whole time they developed the whole map and basically released parts of the map to us to play with is fucking amazing
asylum will always be scary to me. I love arkham asylum and really like the creepy atmosphere in this game. In my opinion it's 10/10 in the series arkham.
Oh wow! I did this same thing in my channel a few years ago. It’s cool to see other people’s videos though, since they probably go farther than I did both times.
I like how even though it isnt accessible, rocksteady decided to add grapple points on the bridge as if they knew that at one point players will want to explore arkham more
I would love a game where we get the whole Arkham map combined into one The Asylum, Arkham City, New Gotham from Origins, and the Islands from Knight. Maybe it could be a fully free play experience like Skyrim. Choosing your own paths and missions whenever.
It's funny because I just found the same glitch today when I was trying to get out of bounds. But instead of doing the exact same thing that you did I ended up landing in the water and I was still able to climb onto the bridge without getting stuck.
I know #Rocksteady is never going to do it, but it would be interesting to see a #BatmanArkham game (even if it is fanmade) where you could go from one point to the other without having to do this kind of stuff. I mean, going from Bleake Island to Miagani Island and Founders Island, AND being able to go from there to Arkham Asylum, Arkham City (North Gotham), South Gotham and even Wayne Manor and the Batcave, would be a blast. But I guess it’s okay to dream… 🤷🏻♂️
Closest we had to it is origins. We had the batcave, pre arkham city region of Gotham and then some. We could kinda go to the mansion in the DLC too but not everything we wanted. The part of gotham we see in AK did kinda get retconned in.
I think the way to restore these locations in Knight are Remastering the game for next gen consoles. I would think PS5 is powerful enough to take this much data. This would also give Rocksteady more opportunities to fix some bugs in the base game. Another thing I would like them to change would be that we should be able to switch suits mid-game. If you wanna take this one step further and be more ambitious about it, although currently seemingly impossible, remake all three (or four, counting Origins) games and put them into a single game with faster performances and better graphics.
My dream is a Batman game with a Gotham City the size of the Witcher 3's map. I think density is over-rated. Any problems created by a large, sprawling map can be solved with a fun, engaging traversal system that's actually fun to play, and instead of just pressing forward till you get somewhere interesting. I also think they could finally adapt the nemesis system from the Shadow of Mordor games to use in a Batman game, like they originally intended. How awesome to have procedurally generated, emergent storylines around street criminals developing into major threats, or even supervillains, through numerous engagements with Batman? Or Batman turning members of the various gangs into informants to get key info. I think in the coming years, the filler stuff that bloats out open-world games should all become procedurally generated, and interconnected to keep each engagement unique. So stopping a robbery leads to clearing a fort, which leads to a fetch-quest, which leads to chasing down a vehicle, defeating a miniboss, and rescuing a hostage. All interconnected procedurally, with permanent consequences if the quest-string fails.
Origins Map is literally Arkham City when it was North Gotham, fresh and new on a Christmas Eve. There's no way you can have City's and Origin's map in the same game, because they're the same place.
You can get a great view of Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Pioneer Bridge, Coventry, Diamond District and Burnley from the top of the Wayne Tower on Miagani Island. My only nitpick is that the Pioneer bridge connects to the wrong part of Arkham City. It's supposed to connect to the highway separating Sheldon Park from the Industrial district, but in Arkham Knight, it's connected to The Bowery, north west of Gotham Merchants Bank.. I get why they did it, so we could see it better, but it's not accurate.
Wait so they use the same map but they upgrade the graphics and gameplay? Or do they use an entirely differnet map but add in these mentions of the past games and to keep the timeline consistent?
After 5 years this game still looks absolutely stunning! It could be a 2020 title and no one would complain!

You can even spot the fair that batgirl and robin take down in the dlc matter of a family the one that was set before the events of asylum. It’s cool to get a glimpse though I don’t think u can go over to it
They could have put some secrets in those areas. Maybe a Solomon Grundy fight in Arkham City and a Titan Bane at the Asylum
pls come back bro i see so much potential in this channel
I think at some point during development both arkham city and arkham asylum were part of the base game but they later decided to remove that part from the game.
That sucks.
people about 10 years ao were trynna leave arkham city now their trynna ener it lmaoo
I don't play video games but i love watching clips of all Batman games.
It is also possible to see the joker's amusement park
Batman: I need the Batplane Alfred.
Alfred: You are the batplane.
*alfredo
I wouldn't be surprised if there were some cancelled DLC or just cut content that was to have Bman back in AC or the Asylum. That would explain the 360° texturing
i don't know why, but arkhama asylum brings me nostalgia for some reason and when i hear it i immediately think of batman's rouge gallery in their own specific decorated cell in the asylum.
he said its weird how they put buildings and basically like an actual map even tho players wouldnt be able to see it its cause we been playing the same game this whole time they developed the whole map and basically released parts of the map to us to play with is fucking amazing
To be honest. It looks like the asylum wasn't tampered with after Arkham City
asylum will always be scary to me. I love arkham asylum and really like the creepy atmosphere in this game. In my opinion it's 10/10 in the series arkham.
im mirin’
Surprised theres not a goddamn riddler trophy in city
Oh wow! I did this same thing in my channel a few years ago. It’s cool to see other people’s videos though, since they probably go farther than I did both times.
I believe the devs actually intended to add some side missions involving Arkham City if not Asylum
imagine if you could actually go to the asylum and city in the actual story
After all these years ivy’s plants are still in the asylum
It would have been so cool if we actually got to visit these places in Knight
I like how even though it isnt accessible, rocksteady decided to add grapple points on the bridge as if they knew that at one point players will want to explore arkham more
I think it's mostly a reused asset with the ability to grapnel on.
The same thing was done in arkham city with gotham
The detail in this is amazing
I would love a game where we get the whole Arkham map combined into one
The Asylum, Arkham City, New Gotham from Origins, and the Islands from Knight.
Maybe it could be a fully free play experience like Skyrim. Choosing your own paths and missions whenever.
It is so cool being drove back to the asylum, it begins and ends in the asylum (yes I'm aware of origins but c'mon let's forget about that)
Ok this channel is small but this was a really cool video my dude
Tried it out in 2024. The glitch still works. I actually glided around in Arkham City, even if it was for a short bit.
nice to see hear 🖤
I wish this game added some more creepy easter eggs. I always love mystery in games.
Well, there's the Solomon Grundy room, that's kind of creepy. And that Joker shrine made by Harley in the movie studios is also a bit unsettling
I wish arkham knight included ALL of the previous game maps including the asylum
It's funny because I just found the same glitch today when I was trying to get out of bounds. But instead of doing the exact same thing that you did I ended up landing in the water and I was still able to climb onto the bridge without getting stuck.
Why did they turn Wonder Tower into that thing hahaha
Maybe they thought to put it in the game but due to limitations they removed it.
This game is so advanced they put detail in places your not meant to be at in the game
Imagine what metropolis would look like of rocksteady designed it. My god.
boy have i got news for you
What if they made a Batman game with all of Arkham asylum Arkham City and Gotham all rolled into one big super map. The 100% will be a headache.
In Batman Arkham Knight you should do a glitch for Xbox one PlayStation and pc of playing as Jason Todd. That would bet the best video EVER!
Excellent video, man I really miss the Arkham games
It would be cool to see new batman game feature:
Introduces batwing to navigate between cities, and users can fly the wing like batmobile
Am i the only one who got unsettled when you would randomly no clip in city and you would just be falling in complete darkness.
Arkham Odyssey 🎩
Love your videos! Liked and subbed! :)
thank you bro
If all of Gotham was accessible, I’d be recreating the Arkham asylum intro with every batmobile
I would love a Arkham game where you can go to the asylum Arkham city and the origins and knight map
Origins Map is literally Arkham City when it was North Gotham, fresh and new on a Christmas Eve. There's no way you can have City's and Origin's map in the same game, because they're the same place.
@@EX-MartialEmpress9 2 year since this but no, arkham origins map is The bridge that you can see in knight
