- **Learn how to curl your hair so that it lasts all day! Even works for beginners!**
Wishing you knew an easy, fast way to curl your hair that looks awesome and stays all day? This hair tutorial is for you! Even beginners can do this! You just need an inexpensive curling iron (around 1 inch diameter) and hair spray (optional). This video is all about the technique of curling your hair from the TOP rather than the bottom. It's such a simple idea, but it's one that will really change how easy it is for you to curl your hair and make it STAY!
**This technique can also be modified to create different looks such as soft waves, tighter curls, etc. Just vary the barrel size, amount of hair in each curl, the amount of time you hold the curl, or how much hair you leave out at the bottom. Experiment to find the perfect look for you!**

About to attempt curling my daughter’s hair for the first time. Watched a bunch of different videos, this was by far the easiest to follow along with and it was easy to understand for a bald guy that’s never touched a curling iron before. Thank you!
Well this basically changed my life. lol. I do this with a 1.25 inch curling wand, run my fingers through it and then it looks like I've had a blow out! The look lasts until I wash it and I don't even use hair spray. Plus my ends aren't wrapped around the barrel for very long so they are thanking me for it. They look so much healthier. I can't get over this technique. I love my hair thanks to you!

Taylor... I think the settings of your UA-cam account won't let me reply directly to you... But some tips: Curl your hair the day after you wash it. More oils help! Also apply some pomade after curling your whole head. In addition, use less heat or hold less time for the underneath parts of your hair. Let me know if this helps! I have a lot of hair actually, so volume control is important to me too!

This method is awesome! I have extremely hard to curl hair, which doesn't really hold unless I do a wet curler set. If I use an iron, usually the curls fall out before I've finished my head. But this was so quick and easy! It took 30 minutes and the curls lasted all day.

This tutorial was so helpful! I tried it out with my wand instead so I didn’t rush out and buy a curling iron. I sectioned my hair the same way in the video and it cut my styling time in half! It also looks so much better. Like other videos, I would curl my bottom layers and work my way up and it didn’t always look great. So thankful that I stumbled on this video.

I'm almost 30 years old and never learned how to curl my hair. I finally decided I want to really give it a shot, because I have in the past a couple of times but failed miserably since I didn't know what I was doing and had no patience. This tutorial is just fantastic. I'm at absolute-beginner level and you covered EVERYTHING. The little things especially help (how to hold it, to turn as you clamp, etc, etc). Absolutely loved this tutorial! My hair has never curled well or stayed in curls for longer than 2-3 hours. After trying this method, I slept in them and they were still perfect the entire day after! Love the video!

I am 45 years old and OBVIOUSLY had always curled my hair by winding it from the bottom up and as you said...it just doesn't hold. I had my hair cut and styled at an Ulta about 2 weeks ago and I know the stylist curled it just how you showed here, but she had me turned away from the mirror as she styled it so I didn't see how she did it. The curls lasted that whole day and the entire next day! I can't wait to try this tomorrow 🤗

I have long thick straight hair. This method has always worked for me. I always curl at the “top” first, then the ends. The best method, hands down.

I CAN'T BELIEVE you actually showed us how to do this with a $10 Conair curling iron! I feel like so many other girls and guys wanna try to sell us on ridiculously expensive hair appliances, hair oils, and hair sprays, but you were able to show us how to achieve desirable results with less!
