    Thank you. I watched this video, ordered the part and just finished fixing my machine. It saved me $600 and I feel such a sense of purpose right now. As a disabled homeschool mama of 4, I often rely on my husband for things like this. His lung collapsed a couple weeks ago and he has a hernia, so he's been on light duty. I've been having to push myself. You made it so easy. If I could hug you, I would. You got my like, follow and business. God bless!

    Thanks for the tutorial. FYI for viewers, if you have water leaking out on the floor at a slow rate even when the water level is not over full you may have what happened to my washer. The water level sensor hose slipped off the nipple down on the washer tub, so the sensor would not register the water filling (NF error code) and water dribbled out of the disconnected tub nipple. Fortunately it's in the garage so no floor damage. Simply slipped the sensor hose back on and reset the clamp and washer cycles perfectly and no more leaking.

    Bingo! Not my exact model, but this helped solve my problem regardless. In my case, the pressure tube just disconnected at the bottom. Glad I looked before buying a new sensor.

    I had blockage to the point that no air was moving. Originally I could not blow any air through the. I poured a little vinegar into the tube and let it set, then I shot some pressurized air through the tube. That cleared the blockage
    and I ran warm water through it. Works like a champ. Thanks for the reply.

      +AppliancePartsPros It was clear in the tube but inside the tub was clogged bad.

    Just undo the squeeze clamp on the sensor and swap the sensor out and leave the hose routed. Whole job took me 5 mins.

      I've had that issue for awhile. I'll get a leak at the back of the washer and that hose will be popped off. The hose has gotten hard and needs replacing but I keep putting it off. This issue also caused a NF error and an overfill issue.

    Hi Tank you Video, My Question is water level pressure switch has 3 terminals (Pin) what is ? Please explain .

    Can anyone explain how to check these with an ohmeter using pressure/no pressure going in (by blowing into the tube to trigger the diaphragm)? I have one now and I can't tell whether it is good or not. Problem is that the washer does not fill with ANY water (hot or cold) in some settings (i.e. whites, normal) but it works fine with some setting (i.e. gentle, express). Water or no water, the washer goes thru normal cycling, Thanks

    Thanks for the video. Very helpful. I see model b of switch available online rather than model c of the pressure switch. Will model b work on my machine? My machine model is WA90F5S2.

    Thank you for this video. It was very informative.
    I actually have an issue with my Samsung Washing Machine WA90F4 (Top Load). The washing machine is overflowing at all levels and when I checked, there is water leaking at the point where the pressure sensor pipe is connected at the bottom of the tub. Is there any solution to this problem? Please help.

    Hi Great Video. However my problem is differnt and I can't find an answer to it. I have a Simpson Espirit 5.5 kg top loader. The machine has 3 water level settings. I like to use hot water which is very costly. My problem is that even though the machine has 3 water level settings the lowest level is very high.. If Im washing my socks this means the machine will not agitate untill the level is very high 3/4 full. I would just like the machine to agitate at any level. Should I just disconnect the pressure switch completely?? What would be the best way to get this to happen.

    Can anyone tell me how freely air should flow through the water level sensor tube at the tub? If I create a vacuum on the tube at the sensor it will fill the drum, if I create pressure it drains, but if I try to do either at the drum the air barely moves back into the drum as if there is blockage. The switch has to be sensitive and not require much pressure difference. The clamps are not that robust

    • @appliancepartspros
      @appliancepartspros  9 років тому

      +Alan King There is not a lot of air movement in the hose. As the tub fills with water it the pressure increases and shuts the water off when it is at the correct level. If there is a air leak the tub will over fill, if there is blockage it could cause it to fill to the wrong level. You can also post the problem along with the appliance model number on our repair forum and the techs can help you troubleshoot the problem.

    Why not save yourself some time and leave the existing plastic tubing in place and just swap out the sensor?
