I just installed a set of these Z23 kits (along with rebuilding the calipers), Saturday. Fantastic feel after bedding the pads. No noise, no dust, excellent braking control and they look really good too.
Dude,, Powerstop Breaks are the Best. Never had a vehicle stop faster then with these Rotors and Pads combo. They will pay for themselves by not getting into Accidents and raising your insurance premiums.

Just installed the set on my 2019 civic coupe ex-t. Amazing brakes.
Thay worked well on my wife pt cruiser. Stops on a dime now. I still have the drums on the back left. Power stop all the way.

I have STOP TECH Rotors but .their break pads are the same as OEM material
If I purchase POWER STOP BREAK PADS . They should be no problem with other Rotors?
Also would you buy again power stop break pads?
The Z23 kit bring Carbon-Ceramic pads and the Z26 is their more aggressive kit with Ceramic pads. 4000 miles in and I will definitely say I’d buy again. We are planning an upgrade for another car in our fleet and we want to do the full Z26 kit with the upgraded calipers for that one
Did they come with the ceramic brakes or the carbon fiber ceramic mix? How have they been holding up?
Hi Robbie, thanks for the comment. The pads included with the kit are a carbon ceramic blend. With about 3000 miles on them they have been great. The pedal feel is great, no compromises. Brake dust is significantly less, way less than straight ceramic pads on a stock rotor. And then of course the bling is nice too.

Two months after I purchased the Power Stop brake kit my right rear caliper failed and began leaking brake fluid. After waiting three weeks for the part, they now tell me the ETA is over a month away. This really sucks. I now have to buy and install a temporary generic caliper while I wait for the Power Stop caliper.

Hey, I’m considering buying these for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra gt, but the first video on UA-cam that popped up said they had them rust and seize after 2 years and a few comments mentioned that their brake fluid leaked after, they are a bit more expensive than another option I’m looking at, but I really like the way the look. Also, how long did it take for them to arrive?
Hey there Ricky, thanks for dropping a comment. I actually ordered mine thru Advance Auto Parts. At the time I ordered them I didn’t see the calipers included. I just got the Z23 pads and rotors so I can’t comment on the calipers. Even though it was a special order, I placed it Monday and got them Thursday same week. As far as the pads and rotors, the fit was perfect and performance has been great. They do offer a complete kit with their Z26 pads, rotors, and calipers for one of our other cars, so we could cover that kit in another video and give some honest feed back then.
do you need to bleed the brakes when done?
With this kit, only pads and rotors, you won’t have to bleed your brakes. With the caliper kit you would since that includes replacement brake calipers

How many come in back. I’m looking to buy for my Honda Civic. Since 2 come in a box did you have to hit another box?
The Z23 Pads are only for the front 2 wheels or for all 4 wheels?
They’re for all 4 wheels, it was a time crunch that meant I only got to film the fronts. Advance at that time didn’t have the complete kit in stock. So they arrived separately, the fronts were done specifically to replaced warped rotors for a road trip and they perform great the rears were icing on the cake
They don't even cost more than OEM from the dealer
My OEM Honda brake job cost me 1000, I just ordered the z23 kit for 333 bucks from the website with free shipping, a lot cheaper than OEM j/s
have you had any problems with squeaking when the brakes are cold??????
None to report, made sure to apply the grease and have no complaints. They list a specific break in procedure to help the pads seat properly which under the perfect circumstances might make them squeak if skipped, but we hit the road the same day on a trip and got no squeaking

Absolutely, the Z23 kit has been flawless and the performance has been great, smooth consistent stopping power and the brake dust is very low. Much less than the “off the shelf” ceramic pads I had before (for reference I believe they were Wearever gold or platinum). If you go with just the pad and rotor kits (instead of the caliper kit) it’s a bolt on swap with drilled/slotted looks and better performance.
Spend so much time talking about how it looks and don't show the finished product behind the wheels.
