As a former photographer in Winnipeg, I can tell you how quick he is to sue. He used to sue every photographer that photographed his bald spot at an event. My college photography teachers had to sit us all down and inform us of this before going to shoot a local runway event, as photography students. He would sue us if we photographed him from behind or the side. Front-facing photos only. Just because he refuses to have photos available where his bald spot is visible. He is a demon.

Being from winnipeg, I’ve known about this guys sick nature my whole life. As a kid I’d hear stories of him, and they’d become more revealing as I got older. He had a massive lakefront cabin out at this lake I used to stay at, and there would be enormous parties with MANY underaged girls. He would also be extremely degrading towards women when working with them at the many department stores across the city. Never was surprised to hear about this. Literally was hearing about it when 7 years old. Sad it took this long.

As a Winnipegger I've been told many stories about this human scum. Some of them are first hand accounts from my dad, apparently working for his company was absolute hell. I don't think there is a single sane person in this city who has a good thing to say about him and for good reason.

I remember driving around Winnipeg and seeing those big creepy signs of him all over the place (he bought so many billboards to post them on) and my friends and I always making fun of them. All we thought was that he was an old narcissistic man in denial about getting older (I mean, look at the picture hahaha) but didn't realize how dark things actually were.

Well I worked Canadian higher level ladies retail for years we didn't carry his brand most of our jeans were French Dressing and I think the story that horrified me the most was one of his retail workers went in to clean out a change room and followed her in trapped her and raped her right there she had a newborn at home she was so traumatized she couldn't even breast feed ended up leaving her husband too. That was just a regular woman like I was not an aspiring model not at a pamper party. Just a regular day in the shop and suddenly her whole life was ruined and of course the police response to those that reported him is horrific too so degrading and dismissive.

Back in 2010 ish, I used to model at an agency in the hood (Jane and finch) my agent was a real CREEP but I thought it was only towards me. He was actually a creep to even the minors at the agency. One day our agent told us we would be doing a show for Peter Nygard who as a young girl, I had never heard of. I mentioned this to my family and my grandma said she knew of Nygard as he was a big designer in the 80s. I’m not gonna lie but I was less than thrilled at the idea of walking for some washed up designer but experience is experience in that industry. We trained for weeks with our creepy agent being very strict on us getting us ready for this show. It was still the biggest designer that we had trained for despite never having heard of him. Nygard sent a rep to watch us walk. She was a larger black woman with her head shaved low, not exactly the image of a model rep for a big designer. This lady watched us all walk and right after I walked she angrily expressed how fat she thought all of us were. Saying we all needed to lose weight and that our walk (despite being trained to walk in that way by the CREEP) was unprofessional in her opinion. I thought how is it that this ugly woman is calling us ugly. I never even heard of Nygard so I didn’t care to walk for him, but it did stick with me forever after that I needed to lose weight when I was already skinny just not fit. Anyways I’m glad we never booked that show, after seeing weird clips about his obsession with breeding black women for genetic purposes. I wondered why he would send such an ugly woman to the HOOD to look for black models at a black agency. Anyways my own agent ended up going to jail for sexual assault and soliciting minors, even though after what I witnessed there he should have been charged with much more. He’s out on parole now…and I now I realize Nygard is the Canadian Epstein I’m glad I never booked the show or else I might have been tortured on the deep dark web by some rich guy on an island
