Hi Caren! Hmmm I wouldn’t say it’s the best alternative because the taste would be more acidic and sweet at the same time but if that’s all you have, it would be the next best alternative!
I would use 1/4 Cup gochujang and add water as needed since gochujang is a paste compared to marinara that’s a sauce! Also if it’s going to be too spicy, control the amount of capsaicin used as well!
This week I made it for my friends and I didn’t have capsaicin so I added red chili flakes and it still tasted good even though it was different. It wasn’t as spicy because capsaicin is sooooo spicy. So you can either control the amount of capsaicin, add red chili flakes instead for a less spicy alternative, or just don’t add anything spicy in and have it be rose sauce.

Hello! I do believe all purpose cream is different from heavy whipping cream so if you can stick to heavy cream or heavy whipping cream, try to!
