- It is nice to have a place for everything, even our patterns. Make a storage box in your own fabric to keep your patterns in or in my case my Fat Quater Club fabric packs.

You hav3 the best tutorials. Very thorough
I appreciate your editorial skill. No unnecessary and tedious demonstrations. All your instructions were very clear. Thank you!
Honey, your nails look absolutely fabulous!! 🤍
I love how no-frills this tutorial is. You know exactly how much to explain, no more, no less.
Yours are the prettiest boxes I’ve seen so far. They look professionally made, and are completely lined.
This is the prettiest storage box I've ever seen! TY
That quilt behind you is breathtaking!
WOW! Decorating my sewing room has been a year-long project, and it's only half done. I think a dozen of these boxes on all my shelves will make a nice, coordinated change from the look of clear plastic storage containers, so I'll be using them for much more than just patterns. Thanks for another great, very useful video.
You are a very professional presenter and explain the instructions clearly. Thank you.
This is neat and beautiful storage box
I enjoyed this. YOU are a favorite of mine to learn from since I started sewing. Thank you for your amazing teaching style. I couldn't be as fabulous with my creations without following and learning from you. I wish I would have done this project an inch wider as many of my patterns are a bit wider to the finished product, but it's beautiful and I may just try another one and use this one for something else, and too, to practice whip stitching. Perhaps this will give me an opportunity to try Annie's Club for a perfect fit. I think I pulled my whip stitching a little to tight as I wasn't sure how sturdy it would be ... I now know it may look delicate but it's perfect. I love the fabric you used but cannot find it anywhere. Beautiful. Thank you and have the BEST day!
It is so much nicer to watch a tutorial from someone with beautifully manicured and painted nails. Thank you.
Carol Curtis actually I’m the opposite. I like when my teacher is as busy and frazzled as I am...who has to squeeze out precious moments for crafting and not worry about luxuries like manicures 🙂
My beef is that so often the "teacher" has badly manicured or bitten nails, which detract from the demonstration for me
I was an educator for Creative Nail Design years ago, now called CND. We were taught that nails were ‘polished’, not painted. The way to remember the terminology was - you paint a barn, you polish nails…Not trying to be bossy. Just FYI However I do love to see a beautiful manicure. I love her videos!
I really enjoyed watching this tutorial. Who knew how easy it was to make a fabric box. I wanna make so many of these for my sewing/craft materials. TYSM for sharing this video with us.
I just love your tutorials! You make me feel like I can do anything. You break things down and explain everything so well. Every time I watch one I go to get the stuff so I can do it along with you but it never fails there will be one thing I don’t have. Living on disability it’s taking me time to get my sewing supplies stocked. I did get a new sewing machine! My birthday is at the end of the month so he bought me one as a gift, it’s an Emerald 118. I wanted a very basic one. Anyway, thank you so much! You’re a great instructor and have such a sweet gentle way about you. You’re just such a joy that I’m able to bring into my life. God Bless
I too am on a budget for sewing. Check out resale or goodwill in January where quilters/sewer s are purging their supplies. Good luck
You always do such a great job with clear instructions and visual demonstrations! I love your tutorials!!! Thank you so much for you time, talents and efforts!!!
I love your style. It's so elegant. Your tutorials are very easy to follow and your craft ideas always work out perfectly. Great tutorial.
Love this Tutorial. Thanks for Sharing
I love watching you, Laura.
This is a good way! I like your other boxes as well. Thank you. I always learn something and love your instructions.
You Never Fail to amaze me, brilliant idea. Not to mention that fabric is breathtaking.
This will be a very fun winter project. Thank you for a great Video, even a beginner can follow.
Thanx sew much....love your voice and tutorials!
Just what I needed for fat quarters and quilt/sewing patterns. Thank you!
I received my first Annie’s monthly quilting monthly kit. This is an awesome idea.
What beautiful fabric. Thank you for the tutorial. The box looks lovely..
I have been looking for a box for my patterns for awhile, thank you for this tutorial!
Great idea! I just made a similar box to sit inside a hand bag. It’s a narrow rectangle about 12”L x 6”W x 8”H.
I was tired of everything tumbling around inside it- it keeps all my contents organized. I think I’m going to use some of your ideas to make a more attractive organizer with several fabrics and some pockets inside it too- you’ve inspired me to improve it!
Oh my! I love this idea and tutorial. Absolutely beautiful boxes, perfect for my sewing/craft room. Thank you for doing this tutorial!
Love that fabric. I used mine to make the placemats you did in another video
You're amazing. This box is so classy and so beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial!
Nice finished box. What a great job you did and a great tutorial. Thank you.
I love this idea & very new to sewing, patterns but you break everything down so simple. I'm really tired looking for a patterned box out if the store: I always miss the sale, plus I want it all match. I thank you & just subscribed to your channel.
Hello again, I love the way you do a video. As usual.
I love watching your videos you are just totally amazing there's nothing you cannot do
I know this was a long time ago but I have observed over time that (does this reveal a little of your magic?) you select such lovely fabrics. I guess it's safe to say "Lady, you have good taste".
I love the fabric, because blue is my fave color!
Ivonne Walters I like the fabric too and I don't like blue at all!😜
This is such a great idea. I’d like to make them a bit longer to store patterns on a bookshelf. Probably add something on front for tags to document contents
Yes, thanks, teacher. I'm going to do this for my sewing room.
The box is beautiful! After Christmas i plan on making some.
🤗This is P E R F E C T for the DIY mud closet bamboo cubby stand I'll be making!! It will be an odd size and the store bins will not fit 🤦
Your bins will also fill the closet overhead shelf 😏😝
Now, what fabric to use🤔🤣
Thank You for sharing 🙆😉🤣

Michelle R UGH! I've never been able to get the cardboard cut right. My boxes are always wonky, but, I keep trying!
I think you are wonderful! You make some of my very favourite how-to videos! I can't wait to make several of these.
Love from Canada!
Remember when fabric boxes used to be 99 cents at Joann's? I wonder what this box will cost when it is done? Your box is beautiful. You do very nice videos. Thanks for sharing with us.
Just what i need. Thanks Laura.
Very creative, the box is a nice idea and look nice to store patterns. 🌹❤️🌹❤️

Thanks for the great tutorial on the whip stitch! :)
Very nicely done, and explained.
Good, useful idea and GORGEOUS fabric! I'll have to check out Annies. Thank you,
How wonderful! I"m looking for a good storage box for my many patterns. I might just use this method to make my own. Thanks for the tutorial.
I am going to make some of these for my scrapbook paper.
This is a fab tutorial. Thanks for sharing 😊
A really lovely and useful project! ❤️ Thank you.
Very clear!! Thank you so much
I need to get busy! I see 3 holiday gifts for my 3 sisters.
Wow that is lovely. Thank you so much. It makes a great gift box as well.
Sandra Fernandez a gift box is a great idea
Love this!
You have the best ideas!
Very beautiful and amazing tutorial
Such a cute storage idea! Thank you!
Great video .This is a great idea and very useful thanks Laura
I use a small flat iron to heat press my small projects. Try it on your lid glue
I love this idea!!!
I've done something like this for several years now. But instead of my lovely fabric, I use cardboard for the box and then covered the box with contact paper. Kleenex boxes can make a quick holder for fat quarters. Most of the kleenex boxes I get now don't have printing on the sides, so the decorative prints on sides the boxes can be quite attractive while the printed bottom is on the bottom.
Love this tutorial! Thanks!!!
Very pretty box. :) I love the blue fabric. Love your creativity, Laura. TFS! xoxoJanet
wow!!! I will be making me some of these. it can be used for fabric storage also.
Love this box!
I am concerned with using the glue as when I do it always gums up my sewing machine, so I guess I would have to hand sew it, but I love the project. thank you
Really nice project! Thanks!
Great idea. With all the Amazon orders I get, I always have plenty of cardboard I can recycle!
I love this box, your video is so helpful! But I think I'd have to make the lid first because it would just kill me to have to wait a day for the glue to dry!!! Lol!
Her glue stick only took 10 minutes to dry!
Very nice Laura!!!!
I used to have a nail polish just about that color called Chili bean. Wish I could find it now.
you are a beautiful woman in the wolrd thanks for your all videos
So useful and pretty!
I love it! Thank you!
You are amazing! Wonderful tutorial. Thank you!
