Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’ve been spending my fall season making stuffed pumpkins and closing my gathering stitch by any means necessary. Yours is the first tutorial that I’ve found that has taught me how to close it properly!
Laura I watch you every week and I have so much fun watching you because you are so passionate and enthusiastic about what you are doing and I love it. And I almost always learn something and that saying something for someone who has been sewing for almost 50 yrs. Please keep up the awesome work.

Sew cute! I like the idea of making them into a sachet for your drawers. Or you could fill them with crushed walnuts and use them to sharpen your needles.
crushed walnuts would be great!

thanks Joyce:)
you could most likely use green felt for the leaves
Yes! you could, I just didn't have any, so I made due...I couldn't wait< I was too excited:)
so very cute. thank you for sharing. where do you get your circles?
this is what I use www.creativegridsusa.com/products/CGRCRCL
What about a filling that sharpens the poked needles and keeps them from rusting? What would that be besides emory?
Very cute! Thank you. 8-)
thanks Sherri!
On your sewing room tour..you had stated these were pattern weight s...Do you use the same filling for pattern weights? Do you have a heavier filling to recommend? Thank you.
Laura these are crazy cute. Question: Do I need to use 2 layers of fabric when using the fine grit emery to fill the strawberries?
You could as the emery is very fine or use a tight woven fabric.
Love this fun idea! Are the pellets heavy enough for fabric weights? TFS!!
Yes and they are washable:)
OMGosh I really like this :)
can i use poly pellets for a bean bag??
yes and what is great is there washable:)
Hello Laura, Unable to download this pattern the link will not open. Since the video was a couple of years ago, is there another way to get this pattern. One o my granddaughter is in love. Sincerely, Delilah
Pro Tip: For the leaves, I didn’t have the glue fusing, so I just used a *very* thin brushing of Mod Podge for Fabrics, and it worked perfectly.
Cool. If I made them larger, stuffed with poly fill and catnip..... Cat toy! Thanks for the idea!
great idea! thanks for sharing
Next, pine cone from fabric 😁😁 please
That would be great, thanks for the idea...now I have to go shopping for fabric!
Hiya Lara hope you're well.
Hello! glad to hear from you! hope all is well:)
Yes very well thank you.
:)
erase this if you want. I liked watching your diy on strawberries, but think you talked to me as if I were in grade school. It was unnatural.
