- check out 1023diesel.com for AWESOME parts and tuning for your Diesel! The guys at 1023 and Unlimited Diesel Performance helped me cut my 0-60mph time in HALF with a set of 238cc 80% injectors that made my 7.3 SCREAM!!!.... the guys at LOXDCE helped install everything and the results are AMAZING.

Got 238/100%s in my truck right now..... about to step up to 300/200s lolol. My truck has a bunch of other mods of course. I’ve been into these trucks for almost 10yrs so it’s awesome to see you get into them, once you start you can never get enough lol 7.3s are funnnnn

I wanted to see a boosted launch in the rain from the outside. I bet that would have looked cool with all four spinning. Good job too btw, I knew it would get to this point when you got this truck. I can't wait for the Shaw and Rudnick race's.

I can hear the trans having issues at the top of 1st. With a converter and trans upgrade you will be set! Of course there is always different types of "cooling" injection.....

@@kodidodd9967 He was?...This was 4 months ago.... Only the converter was upgraded at the time...... Yes you are right the 4r100 can barley handle a tune hint my comment on upgrading the trans. I made this comment, to Jack being that it was his first modded 7.3. The 4r100 is weak in stock form Just like a Allison and Dodge trans...... the 5r100 laughs at them all stock vs stock....
Put a Jasper trans in it!
Had one in my crew cab 99, pulled 10-30yd dumpsters on a roll off gooseneck trailer, truck trailer would routinely weigh more than 40,000lbs at weigh in at the landfill.
Never once had an issue with the trans, blew turbos, had injectors go bad and all the other typical jssues with a 450k mile truck. But never once did the jasper let us down

Awesome setup and very impresivly fast. AWD does a lot of gripping up anything. Look at the Audi RS3 some has done really fast. But also trucks has a benefit with a little higher weight actually. It's just to have an AWD setup that holds up as well LOL.
Jack have you tried to manual shift when doing a 0-60mph test? As I think that if you short shift it just a little you can shave off some time. Would be very interesting to hear both if it works or not. Don't know if your Automatic gearbox can be started in 2nd gear as well? You could have enough power to make a 2nd gear start maybe.
Man that torque is so amazingly impresive on diesel engines.

I have a question. On the first boosted launch, the boost would be around 25 and creep to 30psi but on the second launch, the guage was pegged passed 35psi the whole time?

Or better yet tune out the black smoke. Black smoke is wasted fuel that ups your EGTs, you don’t need it
It’s only on spool up. Once it’s in boost then smoke thins out.
Jack Cecil no way to get around smoke on spool up, the way you talked about it made it sound like it was throughout the powerband, my apologies for assuming.

I think that generation of 7.3 has the weakest rods of them all, so be careful when you get above 500hp...
Wrong. This one has the forged rods. Late 99.
